Indiana recount flips state Senate primary
to pro-Trump insurgent

recount of Indiana's 23rd Senate district primary has flipped the race in favor of a Trump-backed Republican who sought to oust an incumbent lawmaker who opposed redistricting. State Sen. Spencer Deery, R, emerged narrowly ahead on primary night, but the recount has seen the race flip to Paula Copenhaver, local outlet WRTV reported. President Donald Trump backed primary challengers to eight Indiana senators who refused his push to redistrict the state, resulting in six of them losing their seats on primary night. Copenhaver's eventual win puts the figure at seven ousted. Deery led by three votes before the recount, which found Copenhaver ahead by the same amount.

The Trump administration announced Monday that it had revoked a total of 175,000 visas since the start of the president's term, stating that most revocations stemmed from recipient encounters with law enforcement. "The majority of these visas were revoked due to law enforcement encounters for a range of criminal activity, with assault, driving under the influence, theft, and drug crimes being the leading causes," the State Department said in a statement. "A significant share of visas were revoked for reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud and embezzlement, and other crimes."

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji is heading to Syria and Lebanon next month – and she’s bringing along cops assigned to the First Couple’s taxpayer-funded NYPD detail, The Post has learned. Duwaji will be jetting to the Middle East for a trip beginning Sept. 20 to the countries on the State Department’s “Do Not Travel” list for Americans because of dangerous conditions, a source said. The source familiar with the security detail said the first lady, who’s been described by the mayor as a “private person,” requested NYPD security – after traveling overseas last month without police protection. Whatever in the world possessed Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger's staff to think this was a good idea? For some inexplicable reason, they scheduled the Democrat to appear at a Saturday fiddlers convention in rural southwest Virginia. Needless to say, this was not her crowd, and they let her know it. The setting was Galax, Virginia, a small independent city in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Southwest Virginia, located very close to the North Carolina line. It's been called the “gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains," and its identity has deep ties to old-timey Appalachian bluegrass music.

The more you see and hear from Abdul El-Sayed, the socialist-aligned radical who just won the Democrat Party's Senate primary in Michigan, the more it seems like he's better suited to be a bomb-throwing keyboard warrior or a podcast bro who excels at raging into a microphone. It certainly seems like he's auditioning for one of these roles instead of the sober, serious job of being a United States senator. Then again, no one has accused the Democrat Party of being sober or serious in a very long time. El-Sayed had Vice President JD Vance in his sights during a recent interview with MS NOW. In it,

The presidential inauguration, hosted by the city of Cali for the first time in the country’s history, occurred under the watch of a highly reinforced security operation amid a string of terrorist threats and a thwarted attack with explosives this week. Abelardo de la Espriella succeeded former President Gustavo Petro, a former member of the Marxist M19 terrorist group and Colombia’s first and so far only leftist president ever. President de la Espriella, a 48-year-old lawyer nicknamed “The Tiger” and highly supportive of President Donald Trump and the United States, became the next Colombian head of state after defeating far-left Sen.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) ideology has spread through schools, universities, corporations, and government agencies, destroying excellence, integrity, and comity. Now, a new investigation shows that DEI has infected one of the most sensitive and important fields in America: mental healthcare. Accuracy in Media recently released video footage (video #1; video #2) from the annual conference of the American Psychological Association (APA), the world's largest psychological association. The footage reveals that the nation's most influential psychology organization is prioritizing political activism over patient care.

federal judge on Friday denied the Southern Poverty Law Center's (SPLC) bid to dismiss the Department of Justice's indictment of the organization and further declined to grant discovery into the DOJ's motives. The DOJ announced charges against the organization, bringing six counts of wire fraud, four counts of making false statements to a bank, and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. File gov.uscourts.almd_.90264.112.0.pdf The SPLC had argued that the case was politically motivated, but the judge rejected that argument, saying the SPLC's filings were "heavy on heated rhetoric, better suited for cable news, or a podcast."

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, is the only governor in America currently under investigation for a “pay-to-play” scheme, but that investigation will likely conclude just prior to the November election. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes – a fellow Democrat – is conducting the investigation and recently told reporters that the investigation is “near the end” and results would come prior to the November election, KTAR News reported. “I feel confident that we’re going to get the information that we need to conclude the investigation,” Mayes told reporters earlier this week. The investigation involves Hobbs’ connection to an Arizona group home,

The Gateway Pundit has already shown videos of Michigan voters saying that is just what they are going to do, so this is not a longshot theory from Penn. She said she felt “empowered” to start that process now while Congress is on its August recess.

President Donald Trump has played tough with Iran, using the U.S. military to punish that nation’s Islamist regime when it stops talking, and calling off hostile actions when Iran returns to the negotiating table. After five months of this pattern, Americans’ support for U.S. attacks on Iran is lukewarm at best, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. For the August online national I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from July 28 to Aug. 1, 1,463 adults were asked: “Do you support or oppose U.S. military action against Iran?” The poll’s margin of error is +/-2.9 percentage points. A total of 42% said they supported military action either “strongly” (22%) or “somewhat,”

It's hard for me to believe that the Democrats might run Kamala Harris for president again after her campaign was such a disaster in 2024. Not only did President Donald Trump clean her clock, even getting more of the popular vote, but he also beat her in all the swing states. Plus she spent and lost a ton of money in a futile cause, by some estimates, $1.5 billion over the course of an abbreviated campaign. Polls have her up for 2028, though, so I'm all in for it. That should be great fun to watch her go down in flames again. It does sound like she's gearing up

One of the nation’s top sports chronicles, Sports Illustrated, is under fire for pushing out a headline insisting that WNBA star Sophie Cunningham deserved to be bashed in the face on the court because of her support of women-only sports. The outrageous SI headline came after Cunningham suffered a fragrant clothesline foul on Saturday, when Chicago Sky player DiJonai Carrington smacked Cunningham in the face while attempting to block Cunningham’s shot. Carrington was handed a flagrant 2 foul for sending the Indiana Fever’s Cunningham smashing to the floor during her successful layup in the first quarter of Saturday’s game.

Rush Limbaugh had a saying to explain how he would drive a point home about the left that perfectly applies to what we’re seeing in the WNBA today. He said that sometimes you have to illustrate the absurd through absurdity. In other words, you have to take the left’s premise to its ultimate conclusion to more fully see just how messed up it is. That would be a perfect description of how the WNBA is totally blowing its current men-in-women's-sports crisis. My colleagues David Manney and Robert Spencer both wrote separate stories about this trend, which is getting increasingly absurd: We now have former NBA stars declaring their intent

Organ donation is one of the most selfless decisions a person can make. A family, often gutted by grief, chooses to turn devastating loss into a lifeline for a complete stranger. The whole thing runs on trust. Trust that doctors will treat their loved one with dignity. Trust that every ethical safeguard stays in place. Trust that nobody gets declared dead before they actually are. For years, the organizations responsible for managing this process — organ procurement organizations, or OPOs — have operated as regional monopolies with almost zero accountability.
