Democrats wanted a frontrunner in California’s gubernatorial race. What they did not envision was Xavier Becerra, whose abrupt rise from afterthought to favorite has left former Biden administration officials — his one-time colleagues — reacting with a mix of incredulity, mockery and resignation. “It’s like: ‘We need to figure out a candidate who can win!’ But then…him? Really?’” said one former Biden administration official. “It’s amazing.”(snip)Six former Biden administration officials, all of whom were granted anonymity to speak candidly about a former colleague, acknowledged the subject of Becerra’s unlikely rise has come to dominate their group chats and conversations. “It gets the biggest laugh every time we send around a poll,”

Something very strange is going on in the Mitten State, better known as Michigan. And it’s not just that Abdul El-Sayed, the Marxist Muslim insurgent who Dem Party leaders desperately dislike and didn’t want as their Senate nominee, managed to beat their establishment candidate anyway. … That part already happened. The strange part is what’s happening right now. El-Sayed is set to face-off with Republican Mike Rogers in November in a race that could help decide control of the United States Senate. It’s a big deal. And then, one week after Sayed’s big win, CNN’s KFile came barreling through the door like the Koolaid Man, with what looks exactly like a Republican

A federal appellate court handed the Trump administration a win on Tuesday in its bid to fast-track the deportation of paroled foreign nationals brought in the United States by former President Biden. In its per curiam ruling, a three-judge panel for the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated a lower court blockade against the Department of Homeland Security’s directives suggesting officials use expedited removal to speedily deport migrants. The decision throws out an August 2025 ruling by Biden-appointed District Judge Jia Cobb, who claimed that the migrants “played by the rules” and the federal government subsequently “changed the game.”

Hopefully this will be a lesson to multiple people, including President Donald Trump. There is no room for softness on the topic of deporting illegal aliens. In one of the biggest examples of a mistake in Republican campaigning, three weeks before the primary election Minnesota Governor candidate Mike Lindell made the fatal mistake of advocating for greater leniency for illegal aliens, with inferred amnesty in his immigration platform. The backlash was fierce, righteous and directly targeted. Lindell was blasted. Last night, despite the support and endorsement from President Trump, Lindell was resoundingly defeated by Lisa Demuth, the speaker of the Minnesota House.

What is surfacing now, five years later, is a stronger understanding of just how the establishment medical complex determined the safety and efficacy protocols of the COVID-19 vaccination. They had theories, they had speculation, they had scientific discussion; but ultimately, they did not know to what extent the vaccine was safe – and statistically it wasn’t safe. Looking back on recent history, the COVID experience stands out. The lessons from observing the government’s response, and how people reacted to it, have influenced our perspective on many topics related to liberty and freedom.

Paramount Television Studios and CBS Studios nabbed $37.3 million to film Viola Davis thriller Ascent and a sequel series to the 1995 cult classic film Clueless in California, trailing only Disney ($45 million) for a massive untitled detective series in this allotment of incentives the film commission said Monday.

Extreme leftists and white, female, overeducated, urban communists have one primary prism: how Obama-ish is their candidate? Both El-Sayed and Barack Obama are supported by the Muslim Brotherhood directly. Both El-Sayed and Barack Obama campaigned for Senate in the mid-term election (BO ’06, ES ’26), and both Barack Obama and El-Sayed planned to run for higher office in 2nd year of their freshman term as senator. The media now begin their fawning endeavor as the Muslim Brotherhood backed Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed tries to moderate himself in the image of Barack Hussein Obama. I find it a little revealing that El-Sayed’s wife is a doctor who refuses to treat Medicare and Medicaid

Gen Z was supposed to be the first fully digital generation. They grew up with smartphones in their hot little hands, social media accounts before they were old enough to swim, and an entire childhood recorded, uploaded, ranked, liked, shared, and permanently part of every algorithm on the planet. They were supposed to love every second of it… but that didn’t happen. A growing number of them are now trying to escape the tech lifestyle they were born into. Young Americans are deleting apps, cutting back on screen time, getting rid of social media, and trading expensive smartphones for “dumb phones” that make calls, send texts, give directions, and play music.

Democratic Gov. Maura Healey was met with applause and smiles as she signed away Massachusetts' gestational limits on abortion, making the deep-blue state the 10th to permit the procedure up to birth. Under the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act, health care workers will have greater discretion in determining whether to perform an abortion later in pregnancy, without facing legal penalties under the state's previous restrictions. Healey said the law is intended to ensure families facing medical complications late in pregnancy can abort their babies in Massachusetts rather than having to travel out of state. Those complications can include maternal health complications and fatal diagnoses.

Illegal migrants are losing out on beach vacations and picnics because of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal migration, according to hand-wringing reports in pro-migration media outlets. “A group of Latino friends and their families had a tradition they repeated every summer: traveling in a caravan to a North Carolina beach, renting a large house, sharing expenses, enjoying the ocean and cooking together,” said an “8 agosto, 2026” report in EnlaceLatinonc.org, which tried to hide the migrants’ illegal status. “But this year, they decided to stay home” because they are illegal migrants, the report lamented, as it broadcast complaints from some of the 15 million illegal migrants in the United States:

The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases noted that because “many people have a cytokine storm and fever after the second dose” of the vaccine, “this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.” The January 2021 text thread took place during the early weeks of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. A cytokine storm occurs when the body releases too many small proteins called cytokines into the blood too fast,

You see Americans eating at the food court and looking with wonder at this enormous new temple of shopping that had just opened its doors. That was the Mall of America in 1992. At the time, it was practically a monument to American consumer culture. Bigger, brighter, louder, and more over-the-top than anything we’d ever seen at the time.
