There is a frustrating contradiction when it comes to the way public information is assessed for factual truth. For decades, prominent news organizations have steadily lost credibility. Fewer Americans than ever believe what The New York Times, CNN, NPR, or even the AP publishes as the “objective” record of current events. At the same time, however, alternative, competing descriptions of current events are almost entirely ignored. I beg to differ with J.B. Shurk. They are not journalists. They are paid propogandists. Journalists haven't been employed by these organizations in years.

Larry O'Donnell said Fauci had done more for this country than the entire US Senate put together. That, might arguably be a true statement!

A pretty accurate account of the fraudulent 2020-2024 Wuhan virus era. Interestingly, many posters here and many articles posted here were providing the facts, correctly to those here who had good enough BS meters to tell which stories were factual, which comments were accurate information. There are a number of alternative web sites who published and continue to publish the facts. But, even those can be subjected to the odd personal biases of their individual writers, unfortunately, on certain subjects. It's easy to assume that if a certain news site has been correct most of the time, that it is not ever subjected to personal biases, not ever pushing warped viewpoints on certain topics. We must all seek many sources for information and filter it all through our Truth Meters to find out what is really happening out there. And we have a number of posters here who can provide some knowledge from experience in certain fields to help us sort the wheat from the chaff.

The only regime propagandist who figured more prominently in the "Fauci Diary" than Jake Tapper was fellow CNNer Dana Bash, whose attempted defense of Fauci in her encounter with HHS Secretary Kennedy flamed out yesterday. Unsurprisingly she curried Fauci's favor with emails attacking Republicans, all of which were preserved for posterity by Fauci.

I have noticed that the more powerful a leader is the more the journalists love him. It doesn't matter if he is murdering large numbers of his own people. It doesn't matter how corrupt he is.

Old and busted: Demanding ID for voting hurts the poor, women, and minorities! New hotness: Bring your ID if you expect to eat at Commie Basket! For decades, the Left has insisted that asking for identification to access the ballot box was far too burdensome for its grievance collectives. Of late, the argument has been that black voters and women face particular burdens in getting accurate identification, the former because of the lingering effects of Jim Crow and the latter because of name changes due to marriage and divorce. Requiring ID to vote would disenfranchise these voters, Democrats insist, even though every poll shows majority support for voter-

A man who spent years trading on his father's name, collecting millions from foreign business deals, selling paintings to anonymous buyers, and leaning on a Hollywood fixer to cover his bills, now claims he cannot afford a car or a cell phone. Hunter Biden testified under oath that he owns no stocks, bonds, or savings account. His paintings, he said, are the only things he has left that might be worth anything. The admissions came during a Feb. 9 deposition in Hunter Biden’s legal battle with Winston Taylor, formerly Winston & Strawn. His attorneys released the transcript while fighting the firm’s demand for communications involving people who may have been asked

In Terminello v. City of Chicago (1949), Supreme Court Associate Justice Robert Jackson wrote: "The choice is not between order and liberty. It is between liberty with order and anarchy without either. There is danger that, if the court does not temper its doctrinaire logic with a little practical wisdom, it will convert the constitutional Bill of Rights into a suicide pact." It has also been said that some Muslims don’t want to kill infidels. They just want other Muslims to do it for them. There are certainly Muslims that don’t want to kill anyone, nor do they want other Muslims to kill anyone. The horror of it is they’re

Seattle being Seattle, it was only a matter of time before a simple show of support for biological reality in women's sports sparked backlash. On Tuesday night, before the Indiana Fever faced the Seattle Storm, dozens rallied outside Climate Pledge Arena in support of Fever guard Sophie Cunningham. She had recently spoken out in favor of keeping men's sports separate from women's, a view rooted in basic biology and fairness. The fans carried signs and wore shirts affirming that stance. Inside the arena, two 16-year-old girls holding signs that read "Thank you Sophie for speaking up for girls" found themselves targeted.

Democrats have a socialism problem, and even one of their own on Fox News's The Five isn't pretending otherwise. On Thursday, Harold Ford Jr., who is far and away smarter than Jessica Tarlov, ripped into his party for propping up socialist candidates like Abdul El-Sayed, who is running for the U.S. Senate in Michigan. Ford didn't hedge. His argument was straightforward: the Democrat Party has drifted so far from ordinary voters that its own candidates no longer resemble what the country is asking for. "Because the American people are not being ambiguous at all about what they want," Ford said.

The WNBA has suspended Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste Keaton from attending the team's next five home games after her exchange with two fans during Tuesday's matchup with the Indiana Fever, the league confirmed Thursday. According to multiple reports, Keaton had admonished a pair of fans who brought signs into Climate Pledge Arena supporting Fever guard Sophie Cunningham following her recent comments about transgender athletes. The fans told unDividedPod.com that Keaton directed expletives at them for a sign that thanked Cunningham "for speaking up for girls." Along with the suspension, Keaton was fined an undisclosed amount, the league said.

Two Florida death row inmates are scheduled to be executed hours apart on Tuesday, which would mark the first time in more than six decades the state puts to death multiple people within a single day, as state officials continue to ramp up executions. “I’m not shocked anymore by the number of death warrants that are being signed, but it struck me as a kind of rupture to the system that we would execute two people within six hours from one another,” said Father Dustin Feddon, a Catholic priest who has been visiting prisoners on Florida’s death row for more than a decade. Feddon currently ministers to James Duckett, who is scheduled

Looking back at my law school education at the time of my graduation, I thought I had learned the answer to most difficult legal questions: It depends. I think that answer may apply to the question of whether calling someone the “n” word is protected speech under the First Amendment. The Supreme Court has exempted “fighting words” from the protection of the First Amendment. It is a shrinking and dubious category, but as of today it still exists. The 2025 Harvard Law Review Note “Fighting Words at the Founding” presents a thought-provoking reconsideration of the doctrine in light of the common law at the time of the founding.

The United States and the United Kingdom are under attack from within. Consider a small sampling of recent stories that the corporate news media have mostly ignored: Communist commentator Hasan Piker — an America-hating, Muslim anchor baby who grew up in Istanbul — continues to tell his followers that the United States deserved 9/11, while celebrating Antifa domestic terrorism and left-wing assassination culture. After a left-winger allegedly murdered well-known British conservative Ann Widdecombe by bashing her head with a hammer twenty-one times, an Islamic supremacy group called Palestine Action began offering “direct action” training for fellow leftists who wish to

Yuri Bezmenov decided he wanted out of the KGB and the Soviet system some 56 years ago while serving in New Delhi, India. Disguising himself as an American hippie, he defected to the U.S. Embassy and debriefed with the CIA. It was decided that Bezmenov should settle in Canada under a new name for a while. Bezmenov came back to the U.S. in 1980 with a mission to educate people about Soviet "ideological subversion," which is the basic systematic methodology communists use to take down countries and establish Marxist-Leninist socialist-type states. On Saturday, Troy Jackson was officially picked as the replacement for Graham Platner to be the Democrat candidate for the Senate from Maine. As we reported, this was the likely result after the other main candidates dropped out and endorsed Jackson about a week ago. This was after it became clear that he had about two-thirds of the Democratic delegates who would be voting on a replacement. What was pretty humorous is a guy who's been in state politics for 25 years trying to paint himself as some kind of "outsider" or change agent. He also just lost another race for governor.

The 25th anniversary of 9/11 is just over a month away, and the families of those murdered in the World Trade Center are making plans for a dignified remembrance of their loved ones on this painful and solemn occasion. There's just one problem: New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani insists on being there despite the growing chorus from the families telling him to stay far away. At the end of May, the New York State Assembly introduced Assembly Bill A11509. The proposal would permanently prohibit anyone born after December 31, 2007, from purchasing tobacco or nicotine products for the rest of their lives. In practice, the State is claiming permanent ownership over the autonomy of part of its population. It is deciding today that these individuals will never be considered capable of making their own choices. The distinction it creates is not based on any assessment of individual responsibility or capacity. It rests solely on an arbitrary date of birth.
