Anti-hunting groups don't make a lot of sense to me. I get people wanting harvested animals killed humanely and not left to rot in the woods. I want that, for crying out loud, and that's true of every hunter I know. Yet hunters are also conservationists. Not only do they help thin herds so there's less competition for limited resources among animals like deer, but hunting license fees help fund government efforts to protect these animals. These groups don't see it that way, which I guess is fine. Fortunately for us, though, it seems the courts agree with the rest of the world.

Pop culture can linger longer than many news headlines.
Take the 1981 TV movie Skokie. Danny Kaye starred as a Jewish Holocaust survivor protesting a planned Nazi march in his Chicago suburb. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) played a central role in the fact-based drama, defending the Nazis’ free speech rights despite their abhorrent views.
That’s what the American Civil Liberties Union did for decades—stand tall for the First Amendment. That Kaye drama made it crystal clear, even to those who never read a story tied to the civil rights group.
That ACLU, bold and unrelenting in its quest to preserve free speech, is mostly missing these days.
You know when the lefties have received their anti-Trump talking points because they all emerge at the same time, guns ablazing, to pile onto the president about something no one else cares about (or maybe even supports). Halperin talked about it with two guests on his 2Way program and although he mentioned several news outlets, he really saved his anger for Brian Stelter of CNN, who made sure to write about how ‘MAGA media’ was treating the story.
It is truly remarkable, the way that Fauci became such a celebrity among members of the media and they’re still showing their devotion to him today.
Halperin also points out how the Fauci coverage mirrors the way the media treated Joe Biden and the cover-up of his mental acuity.

In 2024, Musk dropped a cool $260 million to help elect Donald Trump. No word on exactly how much Musk is willing to shell out this election cycle, but it will only add to the Republicans' massive cash advantage over the Democrats for the November contests.
