We have followed the sad descent of Tucker Carlson into madness. Here, he accuses President Trump and the entire Republican Party (except for Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie, now gone from the party) of treason. He wants them subjected to Nuremberg-style show trials. Why? It has something to do with Israel. As best I can reconstruct it, some tinfoil hat types are saying that the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2027 provides for a merger of U.S. and Israeli intelligence. That seems to be what Carlson is talking about, as he refers to “merge them formally.” Here it is:

Washington — President Trump on Friday ordered federal officials to install signs outside the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History that correct what he says is "inaccurate" information presented by the institution about American history.
Mr. Trump's directive cited a 162-page White House report released on July 4 that accused the museum of adopting "an ideological framework that no longer treats the American story as a shared national inheritance to be taught or celebrated, but as a political instrument to divide, dispirit, and discourage our citizens."

Google leveraged its search engine revenue to acquire Android, YouTube, Fitbit, Wiz, and DeepMind. Facebook bought Instagram, WhatsApp, and Oculus. Apple owes its renaissance to acquiring NeXT, and later bought Siri, Beats, and Shazam. Microsoft acquired everything from Forethought (precursor to PowerPoint), Hotmail, LinkedIn, Skype, GitHub, Visio, Minecraft, Activision Blizzard, and a whole lot more.
On Tuesday night, the House passed a stopgap measure that calls for the funding of the federal government until December 4th. That's after the midterm elections, which means Republicans could avert a pre-election government shutdown, assuming the measure passes the Senate.

SevenCatholic churches in northwest Minnesota will stop holding Sunday Mass.
The diocese has been seeing declining attendance at the services, as well as a shortage of priests. Last fall, Bishop Andrew Cozzens began meeting with parishes to come up with a long-term plan for the diocese.
