President Trump has reacted to the rise of the Democratic Socialists of America by sounding the alarm about communism, which greatly upset Associated Press fact-checker Melissa Goldin on Thursday because, according to her, only card-carrying members of the Communist Party USA can be called communists.
Goldin cited two Trump quotes. The first was, “It’s the biggest threat to our country, including World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor, September 11th.” The second was referring to Democrats as “hard core, godless communists.”
She also lamented, “But experts say

Zohran Mamdani and his cohort are just the first.
America’s commies — spearheaded by the Democratic Socialists of America — are running the same play across the nation that they’ve run in New York.
Even in places you’d never expect, like my home in eastern Tennessee. Their latest election success came in Colorado, where Gen Z socialist Melat Kiros ousted 15-term incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Col.) in last week’s Democratic primary.
It was another win for the cadre of far-left candidates (many born outside the US) who are much more radical — and much more anti-Israel — than the Democrats they’re replacing. Kiros benefited from the DSA’s strategy of targeting low-turnout

While embattled Maine U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner has denied the recent sexual assault allegations made against him, the prominent Democrats who pushed the accused with an alleged Nazi tattoo to win their party’s nomination will be immortalized below.
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY):
As Senate Minority leader, Schumer’s endorsement of Platner was one of the most important he received. A week before the Mainer won the Democrat primary in early June, Schumer said he was the party’s best chance at beating incumbent Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).
When asked by reporters if he still supported Platner after he had been widely criticized for his Nazi chest tattoo

During an interview aired on Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Jenny Racicot, who is accusing Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner of rape, said that “I really agree with his politics. I think we need somebody with those political stances and who are willing to do the work. And I see his political videos. They get me fired up as well. I understand why people want someone like him in office.” And that is one reason she was reluctant to come forward.
Host Jake Tapper asked, “There are going to be people, maybe even his campaign, certainly his supporters, who say this is politically motivated. What would you say to

Republican Lyndsey Fifield is accusing the New York Times of deliberately downplaying her abuse allegations against Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner, one day after another woman came forward with sexual abuse allegations against the scandal-plagued candidate.
“The line most shared from the piece was the claim that the Times ‘could not corroborate’ my story despite talking to two of my friends,” Fifield said in a statement on X.
She said that the Times called two of her friends who would not have known specifically about the abuse but could confirm that she and Platner had been in a relationship.

Since the Iranian regime has a massive price on Donald Trump's head, regime supporters attending Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's funeral held hit list signs targeting Trump and other Americans. And yet a former campaign staffer for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) attended the funeral for the mass-murdering terrorist dictator.
The funeral of eliminated Iranian mass murderer, terrorist, and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gathered the most despicable dictators, jihadis, and dirtbags from across the Middle East and around the world. It also brought out the Iranian regime’s supporters in Tehran who, like Khamenei, want “death to America and Israel.”

Full disclosure: I have very little knowledge of the game of soccer, and only a mild jingoistic interest in it when Team USA wins in its international competitions. Until the past week, I couldn't tell a red card from a red wedding, except that the howls of fury for the former easily exceeded those of the latter. My biggest takeaway from futbol is that LeBron James learned his ref-manipulating flops from the best in the business.
With all of that said, however, even I have caught a mild case of World Cup fever, as the American men's team has delivered a surprisingly dominant performance – so far.

Graham Platner, the scandal-plagued progressive military veteran, said Monday he is reflecting on the best path forward for his Maine Senate campaign after another allegation of sexual misconduct was raised against the troubled Democrat.
Platner’s announcement comes after he canceled several events over the July 4 weekend as rumors spread that a “very damaging allegation” would be coming out against the already troubled candidate.
On Monday, Politico reported on allegations made by Platner’s former girlfriend that he “forced

Now that the Democratic Socialists of America are sweeping into power and beginning to displace the Organized Crime Democrats as the key leaders of the Democratic Party, some elements of the Pravda Media are working hard to claim that the DSA is not filled with communists.
It's true that there are people who call themselves "socialists" who are not, at least precisely, communists. The DSA used to work hard to keep the communist revolutionaries out of the party. But first, that was decades ago, before the revolutionary communists swamped the people who liked the Nordic model of the 60s and 70s (which they gave up decades ago, denationalizing industries

Despite the severe weather delays, despite the Democrats being downers, the America 250 celebration for the Fourth of July was one heck of an event.
The threat of severe weather delayed it, and they even had to make people leave for their own safety. But, as we reported, President Donald Trump said they would make it, and they did, putting on an amazing celebration. “For 250 years, the United States of America has been the hope, the promise, the light, and the glory among all of the nations of the world, all over the world. They try and be like us. Nobody can be like us,”

Flames erupted on the Brooklyn Bridge as fireworks were being shot from it during Macy’s July 4 display over the East River.
Video shows a plume of smoke emerging from a flaming section of the bridge as fireworks soar and burst around it Saturday night. Two other sections also appeared to burn as the pyrotechnics were being shot from the span.
“At first I thought it was supposed to happen but then I was scared it would exploded. I thought the bridge was made of wood so I was scared,” said Nearing Khoula, 24, from France, who was watching the display from the Brooklyn waterfront.

Speaking at Mount Rushmore on Friday to commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation, President Donald Trump sounded the alarm: “As we approach this magnificent anniversary, we see our American identity under a renewed attack.” He observed that “a generation after we fought and won the Cold War against the menace of communism, there is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success.”
There was no doubt whatsoever that what he was saying was true, and that thirty-five years after the end of the Cold War,
