As we reported earlier, President Donald Trump confirmed that the U.S. Army Apache helicopter that went down over the Strait of Hormuz had been shot down. The two-person crew was rescued, and Trump promised a response. "I have just been informed by our Great Military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our highly sophisticated Apache Helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz. There were two pilots involved, both are safe and uninjured. Nevertheless, the United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack. Thank you for your attention to this matter." According to two senior US officials, Iranian drones were responsible. Now, consequences are underway,

I'm with #2 and #4. I hope that President Trump's 'response' includes taking out the Gayatollah and the top layers of the IRGC Thugs. Until that happens, nothing will change.'

BLUE HILL, Maine — Controversial oyster farmer and Marine veteran Graham Platner easily won Maine’s Democratic Senate primary Tuesday night despite a string of scandals, including sporting a Nazi tattoo on his chest. Platner was projected the winner by the Associated Press at 9:23 pm ET, and jumped to an early lead with 73.3% of the vote with about a fifth of the ballots counted, beating Gov. Janet Mills, who stopped campaigning in April. In his victory speech, held in the rural town where he was born, Platner acknowledged he’s “far from perfect” but pledged to be a “senator for the people who cannot afford to buy a senator.”

During an appearance on the Unity Over Division podcast, U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico (D) suggested it was “common sense” to mandate how guns are stored in homes and to ban private sales. Talarico said, “I am a believer in the Second Amendment. I don’t pick and choose between the Bill of Rights, I believe in the Second Amendment just as much as I believe in the first.” He went on to state his conviction that you need to get a permit to exercise the First Amendment right to assemble, then outlined gun controls that he described as “common sense.” Talarico said, “We’ve got to make sure

Sources familiar with the matter told Politico’s Playbook this week that Khanna has caught the attention of Ron Klain, an attorney who was an appointee of former President Barack Obama as the White House Ebola Response Coordinator. Bedlam broke out in Belfast on Tuesday evening as protests turned violent and rioters set fires to vehicles and homes in the wake of an apparent beheading attempt allegedly at the hands of a Sudanese migrant. Horrific footage of the stabbing attack on Monday evening, in which a man was seen repeatedly stabbing another man’s neck, inflamed tensions in Northern Ireland, which had previously been the site of anti-mass migration. On Tuesday morning, police announced that they had arrested a man in his 30s from Sudan who had been granted leave to remain status by the UK Home Office after being granted in 2023, after having travelled through Paris and Dublin,

WASHINGTON — After weeks of setbacks and delays, the Republican-controlled House on Tuesday narrowly passed a roughly $70 billion package to fund ICE and Border Patrol through the end of President Donald Trump’s term. The vote was 214-212, with Rep. Kevin Kiley, a California independent who caucuses with Republicans, joining all Democrats in voting no. The package, dubbed the Secure America Act, cleared the Senate last week and now heads to the president’s desk for his expected signature. The successful House vote ends months of drama and partisan bickering over immigration enforcement funding. In February, Senate Democrats voted to shut down the Department of Homeland Security after the fatal shootings

NASA on Tuesday revealed the four-man crew of the Artemis III lunar program, tentatively set for sometime in 2027, and there's so much more riding on this mission than you might suspect. Commanding the crew is retired Marine Corps flyer (and combat veteran) Col. Randy “Komrade” Bresnik, who, according to NASA, "has logged more than 7,000 hours in 95 types of aircraft/rotorcraft/gliders and an additional 3,600 hours in spacecraft." Bresnik's nickname comes from taking Russian in high school, not because he's a Commie or anything. But his language skills certainly came in handy aboard the ISS.

Half a century after Steven Spielberg challenged audiences to think about what lies beyond the starry canopy that defines our universe in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the director is again challenging accepted precepts of faith and singular belief in a supreme being. His new film Disclosure Day sees him revisit the possibility of aliens: “I absolutely think that they have been here, and they are here,” he outlined in an interview with CBS News. First he outlined the themes behind the $115 million creation and the answers it (possibly) posed to questions of life, faith and mortality.

Election Day returns indicated that Spencer Pratt had easily secured the second position in the Los Angeles Mayor race, and would face incumbent Karen Bass in the general election. But ballots have continued to come in and be counted, and a remarkable number of those ballots have been for the initial third-place candidate, Nithya Raman. So it looks like the runoff election will be between two far-left candidates, and Los Angeles will continue to go downhill. Conservatives generally assume that the fix was in, and Raman’s renaissance is due wholly or in part to voter fraud. Are they right? When the Supreme Court struck down President Trump's tariffs last February, the president lashed out against two Supreme Court Justices he nominated calling them fools and lapdogs. The president has frequently railed against judges when they rule against him. What often happens next is a barrage of violent threats from his followers against those judges. As we first reported in March, we spoke with 26 federal judges – nine Democratic appointees, 17 Republican, both sitting and retired. The sitting judges told us they feel under siege. Most would not appear on camera, fearful for their safety.

Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman has overtaken former reality TV personality Spencer Pratt for the second spot in the Los Angeles mayoral runoff, according to updated vote totals released Sunday by the LA County Registrar-Recorder. Raman, a progressive Democrat representing the city’s 4th Council District, now holds 27.12% of the counted ballots. Pratt, a registered Republican who ran on a law-and-order platform, sits at 26.69%. The gap stands at 3,113 votes. Decision Desk HQ projected Sunday that Raman had secured the second of two spots in the nonpartisan primary, which advances the top two finishers to the November 3 general election

Last Thursday, even as California’s chaotic primaries demonstrated the need for a nationwide election integrity law, Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) voted to kill the SAVE America Act. This would be understandable if the bill were unpopular with the electorate. But its requirement that voters in every state must provide proof of citizenship before registering to vote and produce a photo ID when casting a ballot are wildly popular among Republicans and Democrats. Yet, because its passage is one of President Trump’s top priorities, TDS forced them to ignore his agenda.

It’s not often life showcases a problem in real time. It is now in the form of California and the Senate. It’s become clear that California voting is designed to give Democrats the ability to cheat. Aside from Ranked Choice Voting scam and a universal mail-out of ballots, the state allows 30 days for votes to be counted, a fraud facilitator if there ever were one. We’re seeing it play itself out very much in real time. Last week in Los Angeles in the battle for Mayor, at one point after an update of 24,000 votes, Spencer Pratt, a guy with 30% support, did not gain a single vote.
