In the course of committing an armed robbery in Minneapolis in 2004, Marvin Haynes shot and killed the owner of a flower shop. He was prosecuted, identified by witnesses (“Oh my God, that’s him”), and heard to talk about “shooting an old white man” at the time of the murder. Haynes was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. His conviction was upheld by the Minnesota Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court. Now, 20 years later, Haynes has not only been released from prison, but is being paid $4.5 million by the State of Minnesota. On April 3, a 51-year-old woman was murdered by a man wielding a hammer as she exited a Chevron gas station in Ft. Myers, Florida. The attack was captured on video, and from the video, it appears that the woman didn’t realize until the last second what was happening. It was too unexpected. The victim had undoubtedly exited that gas station, where she reportedly worked as a clerk, dozens if not hundreds of times before and felt secure. In the video, she shows no sign of apprehension, but as long as anyone like her killer is at large in America, none of us is completely safe

But Chevron drove that point home when they explained to drivers why the gas is always more in California with signs they put up at their stations. (X) The signs carry messages like: “Sacramento policies did this. Now, you pay more."

“They have a 61-cent excise tax on every gallon of gasoline. That’s the highest in the nation,” Allen said.

“All children and adolescents develop differently, and it’s common for some children, adolescents, and their families to need professional help understanding various gender issues.”
The website then dives into interventions conducted by the clinic on children who may be struggling with their gender.
