The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has ordered that the “Texas American Muslim University at Dallas” immediately cease operations, saying it has been illegally offering higher education programs in Texas without state authorization. The “TexAM University at Dallas” or “Texas American Muslim University” (TexAM) has been marketing itself as a new university for Muslim students. The institution has been claiming to offer STEM programs alongside mandatory Islamic studies. According to a letter sent by the coordinating board, TexAM has never received the required Certificate of Authority from the state to operate or grant degrees in Texas under Chapter 61 of the Texas Education Code.

We have a spiritual war going on in these Last Days. The Muslim religion is making a great push to remove our Judeo-Christian beliefs in favor of their Koran. These two religions are not compatible. The bible teaches love and forgiveness. The Koran teaches to kill non-Muslims. We need to stop the spread of these Muslim teaching outreaches before they take over.

Student visas are designed to expand educational opportunities. What’s better than studying abroad or hosting international students in the U.S. to deepen cultural ties and expand our horizons? Turns out, however, that just like we’ve seen in the massive Minnesota and California social‑service program fraud epidemic, the rampant COVID relief scams, and so much more, bad actors love to take advantage of government programs, and according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), that’s exactly what went down with a visa program called Optional Practical Training. WASHINGTON — Former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas lamented the delay in immigration enforcement actions until the final year of President Biden’s term — despite having testified to Congress several times while in office that the US border was “secure.” In an appearance Tuesday at Politico’s Security Summit, Mayorkas discussed aspects of the “broken” immigration system in America, acknowledging that a “low bar” for those expressing “credible fear of persecution” allowed too many migrants into the country during the Biden administration. More than 8 million entered by the start of the 46th president’s final year in office — before Biden moved to shut down the border and crack down on illegal crossings

Texas A&M University System sent a cease-and-desist letter Friday to a new Muslim university operating in Dallas, Texas. Texas American Muslim University at Dallas, also known as TexAM University, is facing multiple cease-and-desist orders. Texas A&M University accused the group of trademark infringement through its use of “TexAM” and similar branding. Chancellor Glenn Hegar said the system has a duty to protect its name and trademarks, which represent more than 150 years of academic work and public trust. One day earlier, May 7, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) issued its own cease-and-desist order at the direction of Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

Staffers of the Federal Reserve bank system are providing financial backing for the Democratic Party’s lurch toward the far left, a Washington Free Beacon analysis found. Political donations from the Fed staff have a sharp partisan tilt toward Democrats. In the 2024 campaign cycle, 90.3 percent of contributions from Fed employees went to Democrats, according to Open Secrets. The site doesn’t yet have a tally of the political distribution of donations this campaign cycle, but the Fed staff are jumping in, pouring money into contested Democratic primary races and supporting candidates with extreme views that are hostile to free-market economics or to America’s traditional allies.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called the nuclear phaseout a “serious strategic mistake” that left Germany short of firm power that turned the Energiewende into the most expensive energy transition on the planet. This is an early marker for a developing worldwide retreat from policies that sidelined nuclear power and demonized coal, oil, and natural gas. Germany stubbornly closed its last three functioning nuclear reactors in April 2023 right in the middle of a crippling energy crisis triggered by the war in Ukraine. As pragmatists predicted, German citizens now suffer under punishingly high electricity prices and remain heavily dependent on imported energy.
