The Department of Justice announced Tuesday that a grand jury indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center for making fraudulent payments of millions of dollars to members of the Ku Klux Klan and other neo-Nazi organizations.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said at a news conference that the 11-count indictment filed in an Alabama federal court alleged the left-wing nonprofit had in the past decade paid at least $3 million to eight members of the far-right groups.
One leader of the 2017 Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, Va., received roughly $270,000 over an eight-year period. Neither that person nor others were identified in the 14-page indictment.

inciting to riot. That's a crime. The fact that they're paying for it... Doesn't that qualify for RICO?

Doesn't this mean the SPLC is a hate group actively sponsoring white supremacy? Hope they list themselves as a hate group now.

Racial division is the mainstay of the Democrat political machine. Its how they keep their voter base on their side. 'Evil Whitey hates you and is holding you back!' Guilt driven white liberals and racist minorities love it.

Imagine that, disguntled Americans are willing to riot and stir up racial hatred for money. We are going to need some new prisons for these goon squads and their financiers.

SPLC couldn't find any real racist or hate groups to make into villains so they paid someone to create them. While there are racist and hateful people, the SPLC helped to organize them into hateful groups so that they could have a boogeyman and purpose. They became the organizer of hate groups in order to justify their existence. In the process, they became the thing they claimed to be against.

In sum: the demand for white supremecists by leftists outstripped the supply, so the leftist SPLC created more.
This is like an industrial version of Jesse Smollett.

I hope every voter in this country is paying attention. Every time the DOJ turns over a rock, corruption rears its ugly head. Honest taxpayers seem to be an endangered species. Perhaps they should apply for minority status.

Well, well, I wonder just how long it will take before there's a sign out front of the SPLC HQ reading, "Under New Management"...

Let that article lead sink in: SPLC was funding the very organizations it claimed to go after.
Morris Dees and Joseph Levin's legacy: SPLC has always been a leftist wolf in sheep's clothing and a money-making racket.

These people were exposed in early 1990's. But nobody did nothing. I believe it's nothing more than a blackmail organization.

On the one hand: What do you do if the demand for racism outstrips the supply? You pay for racists who otherwise would stay at home drinking beer and muttering to themselves; you pay them to be active. It's like a pest control company riding thru a neighborhood at night releasing tons of cockroaches and mice so they could drum up business.
On the other hand: Let's say you're a racist organization and you lack a supply of funds. Start something like, or take over something like, the SPLC and fleece the people you hate.
I think it's the former.... but I could be persuaded.

They are calling it a white supremacy rally when it was not started as such. It was outside agitators(apparently paid and apparently paid by SPLC) and news media that characterized it as such. It was a rally opposed to tearing down statues.

This was all a set up from the beginning - the Charlottesville protest. The young woman killed was some Lefty and the man driving the car that killed her was blocked in by the rioters which included the woman. He panicked and tried backing up but she and others blocked his escape.
