Two Polls Show Increased Republican Support

Despite an all-out corporate media propaganda campaign using a few marginalized podcasters as “proof” there is a growing rift between President Donald Trump and Republican voters, new polling shows the opposite is true. Some might find this hard to believe, but social media is not real life. To wit… Between March and April in the far-left Quinnipiac poll, support for Trump among Republicans increased from 72 percent to 81 percent. Similarly, a poll from the Economist/YouGov shows an increase in Republican support for the president. What had been an 82 percent approve, 14 percent disapproval rating in March has risen by four net points to 84 percent approve, 12 percent disapprove.

MSM regularly reports how much MAGA support Trump is losing. All lies. If you read conservative sites, they say it's increasing, which I believe. The democrats are going insane trying to make voters believe they will win the midterms. I don't think they will.

Same as No. 2. I sometimes think that he needs a better filter between his brain and his mouth but that's Trump. He isn't about change but I love him for what he does. No bluffing there. He he tells a country that he is going to blow them back to the stone age, they had better start digging deeper bunkers.

I hope that enough voters take a good hard look at all that Trump has accomplished and realize that the Dems are doing nothing but getting in the way. We shall see.

Neither far-left late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel nor Stephen Colbert have mentioned the resignation of disgraced Democrat Eric Swalwell in their monologues this week — despite showing big support for him before the congressman’s scandals drove him out of politics. The California Democrat not only resigned his seat in the House on Monday, but he also dropped his bid for California Governor after a growing number of women have come forward to allege that he sexually harassed them — or even sexually assaulted them — throughout his political career.

The White House is working with all relevant agencies to investigate unusual circumstances around several American scientists with knowledge of U.S. secrets – some of whom have either died or gone missing – and “identify any potential commonalities that may exist,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt assured on Friday. Earlier this week, a reporter asked Leavitt about ten American scientists – who reportedly had access to classified nuclear or aerospace material – who have either gone missing or died since 2024. At the time, she said she would look into it, and on Friday, she provided an update, confirming the White House is on it,

This week, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas celebrated America’s 250th anniversary by exposing the greatest threat to the Declaration of Independence today—the ideology of Progressivism. “Progressivism was the first mainstream American political movement—with the possible exception of the pro-slavery reactionaries on the eve of the Civil War—to openly oppose the principles of the declaration,” the justice said in a speech at the University of Texas at Austin Wednesday. “Progressives strove to undo the Declaration’s commitment to equality and natural rights, both of which they denied were self-evident.”

Ten House Republicans joined Democrats on Thursday evening to keep roughly 350,000 Haitian nationals in the United States on Temporary Protected Status (TPS) despite the Trump administration seeking to end the quasi-amnesty. The House passed the measure, led by Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Laura Gillen (D-NY), after advancing the bill through a discharge petition maneuver, with help from half a dozen Republicans. Essentially, the bill would keep about 350,000 Haitians in the U.S. via TPS just as President Donald Trump fights in the Supreme Court to end the quasi-amnesty. The 10 House Republicans who joined Democrats to defy the Trump administration and move the bill to the Senate are:

That’s one way to get on the New York Times best seller list. It’s not honest, but it’ll probably work. Not a single thing about this man is genuine. President Donald Trump said Friday that Iran “agreed to everything” in negotiations with the United States following a news-packed morning that included the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump made the comments to NewsNation’s Kellie Meyer, who called the president after he announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that the United States will retrieve enriched uranium from sites bombed in Operation Midnight Hammer last June. Trump said, “Yes,” when Meyer asked if Iran agreed to stop enriching uranium. “They agreed to everything,” he told her. When Meyer asked him if he was surprised, he said, “I’m not surprised by anything,” and soon ended the call.

Both the House and Senate voted on Friday to extend the government's spy powers under FISA for 10-days after Republicans struggled to iron out a compromise on reforms. The House had voted in the dead of night to extend the controversial Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which faced steep opposition from a faction of the Republican conference who wanted reforms to the law, including a warrant requirement. Speaker Mike Johnson initially attempted to tee up a vote Thursday afternoon on a bill that would extend the federal government's foreign surveillance power for 18 months, a plan supported by the White House. As Democrats struggle to find popular messages with voters, another case of a Democrat candidate running as a Republican quickly reached the U.S. Supreme Court, which prevented the candidate from being on the ballot. "I'm glad that people are paying attention because this same game may be coming to your state," Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose told Just The News. The Ohio case is the latest instance of a Democrat parading as a Republican, with recent similar cases in North Carolina and Texas. Samuel Ronan, whose case LaRose referred to as "political transgenderism," attempted to run in a Republican primary for Ohio's 15th Congressional District in the 2026 cycle.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, an activist judge on The Utah Third District Court struck down the all-Republican congressional map crafted by the Republican-led state legislature last November, labeling it an unconstitutional “gerrymander” and replacing it with a map drawn by left-wing plaintiffs. Despite this ridiculous ruling, both the Utah Supreme Court and the federal courts refused to intervene, guaranteeing a Democrat pickup in heavily Republican Utah this year.

Earlier this year, the U.S. Justice Department asked two Senate committees to provide transcripts and records of contacts with former CIA Director John Brennan regarding the now-discredited Russia collusion allegations, signaling there was an active investigation into whether the former spy boss had misled or obstructed Congress. The letters gave a hard deadline of Feb. 23 for compliance. Two months later, the body run by Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has not complied, slowing a key angle of a grand jury investigation based in Fort Pierce, Fla., into whether Obama and Biden-era government officials engaged in a conspiracy —

CAIRO — The standoff over the Strait of Hormuz quickly escalated again Saturday as Iran reversed its reopening of the crucial waterway and fired on ships attempting to pass, in retaliation after the United States pressed ahead with its blockade choking off Iranian ports. Confusion over the strait, through which roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil passes, threatened to deepen the energy crisis roiling the global economy and push the two countries toward renewed conflict. The ceasefire between them is due to run out by mid-next week, and Pakistani mediators were working to put together a new round of direct negotiations to keep the truce going.

The office of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is saying that the figures on a previously filed financial disclosure that showed a net worth of up to $30 million were due to an accounting error and don't reflect her actual financial situation with her husband Tim Mynett. The original disclosure prompted criticism and calls from some GOP critics for further investigation. Since then, Omar submitted an amended filing showing much lower assets of about $18,000 and $95,000. According to her office, the discrepancy was the result of incorrect valuations from financial professionals tied to her husband’s business interests, including a venture capital firm and a winery in California.

Trump administration officials agreed on Monday to allow the “pride” flag at the Stonewall National Monument in New York City to fly once more. The change comes after the Trump administration had removed the flag earlier this year, a move which immediately sparked legal challenges from LGBT activist groups. The Department of the Interior had directed the National Park Service to remove the controversial flag, contending that non-agency flags could not be officially flown, according to a report from CBS News. But the policy provoked a lawsuit against Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, the National Park Service, and other defendants.
