Britain Needs to Be Turned Off and Rebooted

I'm not sure what the point of having a government in Britain is anymore. Because it sure isn't there to protect citizens. It seems to exist mainly to redistribute resources from productive people to criminals, illegal aliens, and friends of Labour politicians. Among the most appalling stories, of which there are many, is the r@pe gangs cover-up, in which all levels of government, from the most local all the way up to the national, looked the other way as "asian" males systematically groomed and raped countless British children for decades. Britain's future: Sadiq Khan PM, Islam the new state religion, all women in burkas, and a standard of living back to the 1700's. The Bristish replaced by their replacements that have been imported. GB is no friend of ours. Wouldn't even send a mine sweeper to help with the Strait.

Every now and then I read that the elections in England have been delayed..... again. ..... and again..... and again..... and again. Will they EVER have elections again? It seems that the answer is NO, as long as the Evil people now in charge, remain in charge. The Citizens are disarmed, and powerless. That is what the 'Rats want to do HERE.

Although the US.–Iran ceasefire is in effect for the moment (depending on who you ask), President Donald Trump signaled that things could change very quickly if the Islamic Republic doesn’t agree to terms — by Wednesday. Speaking on Air Force One, the president said the clock is ticking. In the meantime, the blockade will stay in force: President Donald Trump said late Friday he may end the ceasefire with Iran unless a long-term agreement is reached by Wednesday. "Maybe I won't extend it, but the blockade is going to remain," Trump told reporters on Air Force One. "So you have a blockade, and unfortunately we have to start dropping bombs again."

For decades now, the left in this country has preached that we should feel guilty about America’s success, we should obsess over its flaws, we should downplay our positive contributions to the world, and we should talk softly and carry no stick. Be ashamed, their message has been. And all too many Americans and virtually everyone in academia and the mainstream media bought it hook, line, and sinker, and have been selling it as hard as their little hearts can manage. And then along came Donald Trump and blew that garbage narrative to smithereens.

WASHINGTON – Military planning for a possible Pentagon-led operation in Cuba is quietly ramping up, in case President Donald Trump gives an order to intervene there, USA TODAY has learned. Two sources familiar with the order spoke to USA TODAY on condition of anonymity because they're not authorized to speak to media. The directives appear to be an escalation of recent tensions between the United States and Cuba that began in January when the Trump administration curbed oil shipments to Cuba as part of a broader campaign to force sweeping political changes on the communist-run island.

The IRGC and the civilian government in Iran are at loggerheads, with one group ready to make a deal and the other apparently ready to go down in flames and explosions. There's plenty of evidence that the President and PM want the war in the rear-view mirror, and are ready to compromise on just about anything. The Islamic Republic is showing a MAJOR internal fracture at the highest levels in real time. After Araghchi and Trump both claimed the Strait of Hormuz is “open,” IRGC-linked Fars News is now openly questioning officials, warning of confusion inside the country, and demanding explanations for the silence.

Three guesses, and the first two don't count. The Wall Street Journal raises the question of the Rabid Dog That Was Not Allowed to Bark In DC in its analysis of the ceasefire brokered by Marco Rubio between Israel and Lebanon. Reporters Omar Abdel-Baqui and Dov Lieber concede that the pact engineered by the Secretary of State comes as a "historic step" between the two countries, especially since Lebanon has never recognized Israel's status as a state. However, they wonder just how these negotiations can take place in the absence of "one of the main belligerents":

The price of oil plunged sharply and U.S. stock indexes opened at new all-time highs after the Iranian foreign minister said that the Strait of Hormuz was open for commercial vessels. "In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran," Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote in a post on X. U.S. crude oil plunged 12% to nearly $83 per barrel, while international Brent crude also slid more than 11% to around $88 per barrel.

Iran announced that the critical global shipping lane known as the Strait of Hormuz is “completely” open after being mostly closed since the war between the U.S. and Iran broke out earlier this year. “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arahgchi wrote Friday in a post on social platform X. President Trump reacted enthusiastically to Iran’s announcement, but said the U.S. blockade remains in place.

Who knew this young, promising, handsome politician, who was elected to Congress in his early 30s and was poised to become California’s next governor, had such a dark side? Well, apparently everyone: If true, it sets a peculiar timeline: Swalwell joined Congress in 2013. For over a dozen years, he was a powerful member of the political elite. A popular presence on cable TV shows, Swalwell always made time for the mainstream media.

Rep. Eric Swalwell’s sudden political death was no accident, but a strategic hit job by an unethical California Democratic Party and its media enablers. “Swalwell was pushed out for strategic purposes,” says investigative journalist Peter Schweizer. Call it the law of the jungle. In this case, Swalwell was running strongly in the leadup to California’s June 2 “jungle primary” election for governor, which will eliminate all but the top two vote-getters of either political party who then advance to the November election. With so many Democrat candidates splitting support, Republican Steve Hilton was leading in state polls, so someone had to go.

With the allegations of sexual harassment and assault against now-former Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell (CA-14) that have been reported over the last week, we've been asking a lot of questions about Swalwell's bestie, Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ). As RedState reported, the bromance between the two has been well documented, going back to the days when Gallego was also a member of the House of Representatives and the two were roommates. Swalwell, in fact, called Gallego his "best friend in the world" as recently as November, a characterization the first-term senator seemed to cheerfully embrace. Swalwell and Gallego are close enough

President Donald Trump said Friday that Iran “agreed to everything” in negotiations with the United States following a news-packed morning that included the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump made the comments to NewsNation’s Kellie Meyer, who called the president after he announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that the United States will retrieve enriched uranium from sites bombed in Operation Midnight Hammer last June. Trump said, “Yes,” when Meyer asked if Iran agreed to stop enriching uranium. “They agreed to everything,” he told her. When Meyer asked him if he was surprised, he said, “I’m not surprised by anything,” and soon ended the call.

Has there ever been an automobile feature as widely despised as the stop-start system that the Obama administration forced on the country? Unlikely. Which is why new federal action that kills the requirement is cause for celebration. The “feature,” which is the wrong word for what’s truly a nuisance, automatically shuts off a car’s internal-combustion engine when it is idling at a red light or stuck in traffic. It restarts the engine when either the foot comes off the brake pedal or the accelerator is pressed. The action is jerky — it too often feels like a minor collision — distracting and tiring, producing a

Roman Amatitla, 38, of Maspeth, is charged with eight counts of second-degree murder and first-degree arson after allegedly lighting a three-story Flushing building on fire March 16, which he selected at random. Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said that on the day of the blaze, Amatitla entered and exited the Avery Avenue building multiple times,

So, when it comes to Obama profiting, ID is not racist. “At $30, adult admission to see the 44th president’s story is more than at any other U.S. presidential library,” reports the Wall Street Journal. “That is 59% higher than the average for presidents from John F. Cellular modules manufactured by Chinese companies and embedded in smart home devices represent a significant national security risk to the United States, according to the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. The Hill reports that the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) has released a report warning that two Chinese companies, Quectel and Fibocom, control nearly half of the global market for cellular modules, tiny components that enable smart home devices to connect to cellular networks. This market dominance creates potential espionage and sabotage risks that could have catastrophic consequences for American national security and infrastructure. The report outlines how these modules are ubiquitous in American life. They are found in common

In one of the most out-of-touch examples I’ve seen of Democrats in recent weeks, we’ve now got Philadelphia mayor Cherelle Parker yelling at her constituents over a new tax she wants on each and every ride-sharing journey: if enacted, all Uber and Lyft rides would have an additional dollar tacked on (to support the dying city education system), which in a substantial number of instances, wouldn’t be a miniscule tax. (The average cost of a rideshare in Philadelphia is somewhere between $16 and $24, or 6.25% and 4%, respectively.) Parker wonders “how dare” the citizens and voters question how much she wants to take out of their pockets for others’ expenses:
