President Trump slammed Pope Leo XIV for being “weak on crime” and “terrible for foreign policy” in a lengthy Truth Social post following the American pontiff’s veiled rebukes of the Iran war. “Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy,” Trump wrote Sunday night. “I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country,” he continued.

Didn't The Christ warn about the church being involved in civic affairs? Mark 12:17, if I recall correctly...Someone should tell the Asshat Leo to read the bible a little more closely! I gotta wonder why the hell he doesn't bother about the hundreds of Thousands being killed in The Ukraine?

The “Holy Father” is no different from all other political ideologues of leftist persuasion. He wears the vestments of grand religiosity but underneath, he is just a man like ourselves, a fair target of criticism.

Is calling the man weak and terrible on foreign policy an insult.? I don't know if the Pope is weak but I do know---or believe-- that he is wrong. He is sticking his nose in places where it does not belong and his rhetoric is aiding Islam, a cult that is killing Catholics.

I am catholic and I must say, it almost sickens me with the last two popes (Francis and Leo). Here we have savages killing over 32,000 people because they want freedom in Iran. Iran a country the funds and supports terrorism throughout the world. I am proud of President Trump with the steps he is taking to DESTROY Iran. This pope is very much like the last one. Pope Leo should be asking the leaders to help the christians in Nigeria. These poor souls are being viciously killed by muslims because they believe in God. Here's a little advice for you Pope Leo, stay out of politics. You want to help the christians of this world, start by saving them from being murdered by muslims.

#5 and #8 - it is the Pope who should remain silent on foreign policy. He is not qualified and frankly a religious leader sitting on a throne in Italy should keep his mouth shut about subjects of which he knows little. I haven’t heard him mention the thousands of people who have died at the hands of Iranian leaders or what hell they could unleash with nuclear weapons. I question his priorities.

The Catholics really need to butt out of politics in the US and focus more on Islam's genocides in Africa and elsewhere, instead of embracing Muslims as "brothers" (I guess they do share a predilection for pederasty and buggery).

Go study your Scripture, pontiff. Romans 13:4 - "For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer."

This Pope is worse than the last one and I didn't think that would be possible. But, Mr. President, while it's fine to publicly disagree with the Pontiff, lay off the disparaging remarks and personal attacks. He is, after all, the head of the Roman Catholic church and we have a lot of American Catholics. And in particular, lay off depicting yourself as a Christ-like figure. It was not an attractive trait in Obama and it's not an attractive trait in you.

FTA: "During his historic Palm Sunday address, the pontiff plainly preached that God does not hear the prayers of disdainful world leaders with “hands full of blood” or those “who wage war.” Firstly Leo....President Trump's hands are not full of blood. Secondly, there are other leaders throughout the world who waged war but we heard no "peep" or gnashing of teeth from you or any of your fellow Popes. So.....zip it. I may be the only one who feels this way but I'm uncomfortable with the AI-generated where Mr. Trump is cast as Jesus. I wish he had not shared that. He's a great man for sure but not even close to being a messiah. The left is sure to pounce on that one.

On further reflection of what Pope Leo said about President Trump, it angers me that this pope and the last one, were more worried about offending the Muslims and their Koran than sticking up for Christians and Jesus. As previous posters have said, this pope could care less about Christians being slaughtered in Africa and other places than President Trump trying to save the U.S. and Europe from an nuclear bomb attack. It looks like we're in the book of Revelation where the Anti-Christ and the false prophet of his is being revealed. As far as I am concerned, the Bureaucrats of the organization that hid hundreds of Pedophiles that were (and others that still are?) in their midst is in no position to claim the 'moral high ground' and preach what evil sinners the rest of us are. This Pope, like the last one, is working for the wrong side. This tells me that the problem is with the group that selected them. Earlier posters have noted some of the other evil actions by these Bureaucrats, working to destroy America through aiding -and profiting handsomely from- Illegal Immigration, ignoring the slaughter of Christians by Islamists, ignoring the Iranian government murdering 40,000 of their own people, ignoring the Iranian government's longtime effort to wipe out Israel AND the USA. I was raised in the Catholic church and I am a Christian, but I will not support this corrupt bureaucracy.

The Pope is outside his lane. he is entitled like anybody else on Earth to have an opinion about Iran but he does not have extra expertise about facts on the ground. He is producing theories and they either (a) are nonsense - God does not listen to people at war, baloney; or (b) they are implicitly referring to the facts he misnderstands., As for God not listening to warriors or whatever he said, I refer to St Louis, St. Ferdinand, St. John of Capistrano who led a fightback in Belgrade at one stage in his life, and the story of St. Blaise (died approx 400 a.d.) appearing in a dream to the city father of Dubrovnik to tell them Turkey was about to land. They jumped out of bed and saved the city. Those are off the top of my head. Besides which there is no one God does not listen to. Somewhere in the back of his head the Holy Father may have a legit principle but it has not appeared. The Holy Father is not in charge of the decisions he is trying to make. On the other hand, I would not partcularly want PDJT weighing in with coercive force on controversies about the Trinity as Constantine's family used to do. Pope Leo is not well informed and is filling up the gap between his role and the role he wants to play, bt inventing a communication strategy for the Most High. Just stop ti. You go, PDJT. Cheer yourself by recalling Ss. Louis and Ferdinand.

I calls like I sees it. The pope's job is shepherd his flock, teach the gospel of Christ and promote peace not cheer on war. The president's job is to protect the US, her people, and her Constitution from all her enemies not issue late night blather on social media and constantly resort to childish school yard insults. Neither man stuck to their job in this tempest in a teapot. The pope needs to stick to shepherding his flock, especially those Christians in Nigeria, Iran, Israel and Palestine, and Lebanon who are presently under mortal threat, and stay out of politics. The president needs to let his lower down the food chain surrogates take on this stuff and not sully his position by publicly insulting a major leader of a world religion on social media (/sigh). So tacky, classless, and unbefitting his office.

The Iranian regime executed more than 1,600 people last year — marking a three decade high not seen since the end of the Islamic Republic’s war against Iraq in 1989. The shocking figures were included in a joint report released by the nonprofit Iran Human Rights and Together Against the Death Penalty, which estimated that in 2025 at least four people were put to death each day in Iran. In total, at least 1,639 were executed in Iran last year, the highest reported number since the post-war bloodbath in 1989, where an estimated 1,700 political prisoners were executed, according to the report.

France is reducing its enormous budget deficit in the current fiscal year. However, the price for this minimal relief is high: only massive tax hikes can still slow the debt spiral. On both sides of the Franco-German border, the same problem persists: overburdened and reform-averse politicians struggle against a rapidly accelerating debt spiral. Their preferred tool: higher levies. Last week, France’s Finance Minister Roland Lescure reported a revision of the projected budget deficit for the current year. Initial estimates for 2026 had suggested a deficit well above five percent. Yet numerous fiscal measures brought last year’s deficit down to 5.1%. For 2026,

When Joe Biden was installed as president, he wanted one thing more than almost anything else: to be remembered as the president who beat COVID. NBC published the full, roughly 53-minute interview on Sunday days after releasing a five minute-long snippet in which the figurehead claimed he will not step down from his position at a time when U.S. officials and members of the Cuban communist regime have engaged in talks.

Zo’s cheap groceries will cost taxpayers a pretty penny. Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s first-unveiled city-owned grocery store will cost a staggering $30 million to build from the ground up at East Harlem’s longstanding La Marqueta, officials confirmed – as local grocers worried it’d gobble up their business. More people than not say they will be paying more in taxes this year, not less, and call the federal tax code unfair, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In its monthly national online poll, I&I/TIPP asked 1,464 adults about their taxes. The poll, taken from March 31 to April 2, has a margin of error of +/-2.7 percentage points. The first question: “Compared to last year, do you feel your federal taxes are …”,

For 2026,
