President Donald Trump is considering fresh strikes on Iran after high-stakes peace talks with the regime failed — and as the US prepares Monday to block the Strait of Hormuz, according to a report.
The president is mulling limited military strikes on the country, sources told the Wall Street Journal.
An all-out bombing campaign on Iran’s infrastructure is also on the table after negotiations with the Islamic Republic fell through in Pakistan on Sunday, the sources said, but is unlikely. Trump, meanwhile, threatened again to target Iran’s infrastructure.

Over 50 former staffers of Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) have called for his resignation following a series of sexual assault and misconduct allegations.
The signed open letter described the allegations against Swalwell as both “serious” and “credible.”
“The allegations reported by the San Francisco Chronicle and CNN are serious, credible, and demand accountability,” the letter said. “We stand unequivocally with our colleague, who showed extraordinary courage in coming forward to share her truth. We believe her.”
Both CNN and the Chronicle reported that a former staffer accused the California gubernatorial candidate of sexual assault,

The good life in the United States is over for seven Iranian nationals linked to the brutal regime in Tehran after they were targeted for removal this month by a State Department of State and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) crackdown. Over the weekend, the California Post and the New York Post published a roundup of those detained and headed for deportation, the lion’s share of the crackdown centered in Los Angeles, which has a large Persian community. Among the most prominent is the son of Masoumeh Ebtekar, the woman known as “Screaming Mary.”

President Donald Trump criticized Pope Leo XIV, labeling him as “WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy,” and added that he does not want a Pope who opposes the actions of the Trump administration.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that he likes Pope Leo’s brother “much better” than he likes the Pope. Trump also noted he does not want a Pope “who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon,” or who “thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela. Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy,” Trump wrote.

Lefty billionaire Stephen Cloobeck dramatically cut ties with Eric Swalwell and revealed he has kicked him out of his mansion — hours before the congressman dropped his run for California governor.
“I am no longer supporting Eric,” Cloobeck told The Post in an exclusive interview. “F—ing tell everyone I’m a libertarian. F— you, Democrat Party. I’m a libertarian now.”
The ugly break-up between the timeshare mogul and Bay Area congressman — who pulled out of the governor’s race late Sunday — marks yet another stunning point in Swalwell’s cratering political career.

President Trump slammed Pope Leo XIV for being “weak on crime” and “terrible for foreign policy” in a lengthy Truth Social post following the American pontiff’s veiled rebukes of the Iran war.
“Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy,” Trump wrote Sunday night.
“I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country,” he continued.

Pretty much the entire developed world faces the problem of streams of "asylum seekers" and "migrants," which are the polite terms that the left applies to invading hordes from the Third World. President Donald Trump was elected to his second term in no small part to address this crisis, and he has. Most American politicians, though, will at least pay lip service to immigration enforcement and guarding our borders. They may not mean it (see the recent, unlamented Biden administration), but they try to make appeasing noises about it, like insisting the border is closed, even when it plainly is not.

The Iranian regime recently massacred perhaps as many as 40,000 of its own people, has been bombarding civilian targets in multiple nations for weeks, and has spent decades practicing international terrorism and domestic tyranny. So, of course, the United Nations just nominated an Iranian representative to its committee overseeing women’s rights and anti-terrorism measures.Watchdog group UN Watch posted furiously on April 10, “SHAME: The Islamic Republic of Iran has just been nominated to the U.N. Committee for Program and Coordination, which meets soon to shape policy on women's rights, human rights, disarmament, and terrorism prevention.” The group’s executive director, Hillel Neuer, followed up by asking:

In the wake of President Donald Trump’s historic pledge to carry out a mass deportation program, a coalition of Republicans is promoting a bill to grant widespread amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, prompting fierce backlash from fellow congressional Republicans and the GOP base.
Rep. María Elvira Salazar, R-Fla., led 19 other Republicans in the House of Representatives in introducing H.R. 4393, the “Dignity for Immigrants while Guarding our Nation to Ignite and Deliver the American Dream Act of 2025” or DIGNIDAD (Spanish for “Dignity”) Act, in July.

Five bucks to you is like $6 million to billionaire Jeff Bezos!” shrieks Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.
Taking more from billionaires and millionaires just seems fair.
That’s why Washington state passed a new “millionaire’s tax,” California will soon vote on a “billionaire’s tax,” and my mayor in NYC shouts, “increase taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers!”
Don’t these politicians realize that in America, people can move?
The same day Washington’s House passed its millionaire’s tax, Starbucks billionaire Howard Schultz announced that he’s leaving Washington for Florida.
Billionaires Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, Steven Spielberg, Peter Thiel, and now Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have left California.

Democrats talk about impeachment and the 25th Amendment pretty much all the time when it comes to President Donald Trump. There were plans to impeach him before he even took office in 2017. They spent years calling him crazy, inviting quack doctors on left-wing media outlets, and claiming he was unstable. So, the recent push to simultaneously push for impeachment and invoke the 25th Amendment is hardly new territory for them, but it’s getting kind of old, even for CNN.On Saturday, CNN's Michael Smerconish delivered a scathing rebuke of Democrats’ rhetoric and methodically dismantled their favorite talking point that Donald Trump is mentally unfit to serve as president.
