Answering the 10 most important questions
about the Iran war

Original Article

As the war with Iran approaches the climactic phase, I would expect Americans to have a clear idea of what the fight is about. Instead, I sense some confusion. That is unfortunate but understandable. Donald Trump excels as a cheerleader, not as a teacher or explainer. He’s a man bereft of doubt, who has trouble understanding the uncertainties that haunt the rest of us mere mortals. And of course, the vast anti-Trump alliance has a stake in sowing confusion. The president has a mighty voice, but his opponents are just as loud — and they believe that promoting an American catastrophe, if it hurts Trump, would be for the greater good.

Unfortunately in my own opinion I am sad to sat that the closing statement oof initial post is true. "they believe that promoting an American catastrophe, if it hurts Trump, would be for the greater good." I don't see how any American can feel this way, and perhaps some of them feel this unconsciously, or in their sub-conscious but that feeling exists among those with severe TDS, and it's shameful and pathetic. It is not a rare thing ,it exists among millions of people who call themselves American, and vote Democrat.

If our plan was to destroy Iran and gain a total surrender it would be easy to explain and terribly expensive, in American lives, to execute. Revealing all intermediate objectives would be detailing too much about our strategy, so we pretty much have to take it at face value.

Great and thoughtful article Much of the answer to the why is cultural. They will cheat and be dishonest. In the Western world, when an agreement is made it is a CONTRACT that is kept and bound by promises and actions to HONOR the agreement made. That is to say that BOTH sides will act with integrity and fidelity to DO what the terms of the agreement stated was required of them. What we have here is the Iranian government doing what ma much of the Arab world does, and that is to say and make agreements, but to use that agreement to BUY TIME to do what it wants instead. We honor facts and TRUTH, they seek advantage to fool us into a false sense of security. They were given pallets of over a million dollars in cash by NoBama who by agreement tried to BUY THEM OFF while HE was in office, but which allowed them to develop weapons of mass destruction in a 10-year timeline for "peaceful purposes" which they did not. BJ Clinton was helpful allowing North Korea to have access to technology which has allowed them to skirt the rules of agreements made. He allowed the Chi-coms to have access to Macintosh computers which were then daisy-chained to make a SUPERCOMPUTER. The bill came due when Iran secured the technology needed from other sources, likely used the Millions in cash to fund terrerism and had achieved a 60% in enriching the materials for at least a dirty weapon. We learned that the range of their missiles was more than TWICE what was claimed which made Europe a target for blackmail, but they have largely FAILED to hold up their end. The people there have lived under despotic rule and are too afraid and do not have the ability to take back their country. Perhaps things will change

I agree with all but not sure about point number 10. The ending of the war may be complicated. We have to see what the next few weeks can accomplish.

As a further illustration of our having won the war militarily, the fact that we were able to mount a rescue of ONE downed airman by hundreds of in-country personnel demonstrates how thoroughly we own the skies over Iran and dominate their military forces.

The Times report was based on “a diplomatic memo understood to be based on American and Israeli intelligence and shared with Gulf allies.” The memo said Khamenei is suffering from a “severe condition” and is “unable to be involved in any decision making by the regime.” Qom is a provincial capital and one of the largest cities in Iran, located about 85 miles south of Tehran. The city has historic and religious significance to the Shia branch of Islam and boasts the largest Shiite madrassa (religious school) in Iran.

President Trump expressed optimism Wednesday that the Iran war cease-fire agreement will usher in a “Golden Age” in the Middle East. “A big day for World Peace!” Trump wrote on Truth Social following the two-week cease-fire announcement. “Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough! Likewise, so has everyone else!” The commander in chief said the US “will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz” and “loading up with supplies of all kinds, just ‘hangin’ around’ in order to make sure that everything goes well.”

The United States Supreme Court is finally ruling on an issue (Watson v. RNC) that should have been decided long ago: the dissonant practice of accepting ballots after the Election Day deadline. This case could indeed shift the 2026 midterms in Republicans’ favor, since Democrats often win by broad and unjustified election expansion, which opens the door to cheating, stuffing, and undoing the vote. More election cases are coming before the United States Supreme Court, and the conservative majority looks more inclined to bring the much-needed order and common sense back to our elections.

Billy Bush recently appeared on the new Sean Hannity podcast and said that after the 2016 election, ABC News devoted an entire division of people to taking down Trump. This is not exactly shocking news, but it is a third party confirmation of what Trump supporters have known for years – That the media has been out to ‘get’ Trump since the moment he won the presidency. Before that, even. Of course, left wing networks like MSNOW are devoted to the same purpose, but at least they are up front about their biases. ABC News pretends to maintain some semblance of objectivity.

At White Papers, our core premise is that Western nations deserve to protect their sovereignty, their political institutions, and their founding demography and to build a future free from interference by alien cultures or hostile elites. The reality is that the nations of the West are at risk. The peoples native to Europe and those who founded Western nations like America are at risk of becoming minorities in their homelands after decades of unwanted mass immigration, facilitated by our own elite political class. In some cases, this was done for ideological reasons (globalism). In other cases, it was to drive down the cost of labor for short-term gains.

With war in Iran, Uncle Sam needs as many troops as he can get his hands on at the moment. One traditional human pipeline of future new recruits has long been the Boy Scouts of America, with around 10-16% of military cadets having been introduced to the fine world of outdoor pursuits (as shooting foreigners in the head does tend to be) by scoutmasters as children. But over recent years, recruiting sergeants have begun noticing a distinct decline in the quality of trainees sourced from the Scouts, such fresh cannon-fodder seeming increasingly gay, soft and useless.

We’ve seen this movie before: legalized discrimination hiding behind phrases like “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” and “ensuring equitable outcomes.” What those ideas have repeatedly been shown to be in practice is an effort to favor certain “disadvantaged” people at the expense of the so-called “privileged” class. President Donald Trump has fought against these efforts since his first day back in office when he signed his executive order, “Ending Radical And Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing,” and has tried to rid the federal government of prejudiced policies. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, however, isn’t interested in removing bias from our system; he’d rather promote it. On Monday,

There are no ‘civilians,’ in the Western sense, in Iran, and the IRGC uses the infrastructure for its war aims. Ihesitate to keep hammering at the same themes at the risk of exhausting our readers’ patience, but I cannot stress enough the importance of trying to see the conflict in Iran as it is seen by the Shiite fundamentalist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It is a strategic error to see it as we would see it if we were under military attack, let alone as it is seen by the progressive-leaning, America-hostile media. On that score,

It is absolutely self-evident to me that space exploration is pointless, and the more urgent the crises besetting this planet we live on, the more pointless it becomes. I can see why people got excited about it in the 1960s, back when the world was young and we still thought there might be little green people out there – who wouldn’t want to meet them? Most serious opinion, however, has now settled on the “Where is everybody?” paradox first framed by the physicist Enrico Fermi in 1950. If there is intelligent life anywhere, why has it not sought to make contact? It’s because there isn’t. There’s nothing out there

Pope Leo XIV used part of his Palm Sunday message to castigate the United States for attempting to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear power and threatening the world with mass destruction. In doing so, the "American Pope" confused the real enemy in the war. Addressing thousands in St. Peter's Square, the Pope claimed that God rejects the prayers of leaders who wage war. He called the Iran war "atrocious" violence that cannot be justified by faith. He further said that God doesn't hear the prayers of people whose "hands (are) full of blood."
