A Colorado court of appeals on Thursday overturned the nine-year sentence handed down to Tina Peters, the Mesa County clerk who was found guilty of election tampering after she granted an unauthorized man access into the county’s election system in an effort to find proof of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
While the three-judge panel upheld Peters’s conviction, it overturned her nine-year sentence because it was “based in part on improper consideration of her exercise of her right to free speech.”
The panel found the judge who sentenced Peters violated her rights

President Trump is calling on U.S. allies to secure the Strait of Hormuz, saying countries that depend on oil shipped through the Strait “must take care of that passage” and “cherish it” now that the U.S. has completed the “hard part.”
Trump’s comments came during an address to the nation from the White House Wednesday evening, marking one month of war in Iran, in which he spoke about the U.S. military’s ongoing operations and predicted that the campaign will wind down soon.
“We’ve beaten and completely decimated Iran,” Trump said. “They are decimated, both militarily and economically, and every other way. And the countries

WASHINGTON — The record-breaking 46-day partial shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security could end soon.
House Republicans appear to have caved and backed the Senate plan to fund all of DHS except parts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as US Customs and Border Protection.
“We are going forward to fund our incredible ICE Agents and Border Patrol through a process that doesn’t need Radical Left Democrat votes, and bypasses the Senate Filibuster (which should be repealed, IMMEDIATELY!),” President Trump announced on Truth Social.

The divide between the United States and the other major NATO members continues to widen. Despite not being asked to directly participate in the conflict against Iran, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain, among others, have put up roadblocks, repeatedly shifting on something as simple as base usage, and even denying the use of airspace for cargo transit. As I said in my previous write-up on the matter, there is no point in being in such a one-sided, self-serving alliance.
France, the United Kingdom, and Germany have been asked to do very little in support of this mission.

President Donald Trump says he is reconsidering America’s membership of NATO after not a single member heeded his call for aid in securing the Middle East from Iranian threats, he told a British newspaper.
It was “actually hard to believe” the hard refusals of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO’s) European members, that the instinct to rally to the flag of a fellow member when called wasn’t reflexive, U.S. President Donald Trump has told The Daily Telegraph.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Tuesday that Iran no longer poses an existential threat to Israel after what he described as a month of joint U.S.-Israeli operations that crippled Tehran’s nuclear and missile capabilities, while President Donald Trump said the war is nearing its end and “won’t last much longer.”
In a recorded statement released ahead of Passover, which begins Wednesday night, Netanyahu said Israel has “achieved immense, enormous accomplishments” in its campaign against Iran and its regional terror proxies

As discussed earlier today, Democrats may be facing problems in a few years thanks to all of the people choosing to leave blue states and move to red states instead. Over time, that reduces the number of electoral votes in those blue states as well as the number of people representing the state in the House.
There can be many reasons people decide to leave blue states but one of the ones often pointed to is taxation and another is affordability. It's not a coincidence that some of our largest blue cities also have some of the highest home and rental prices. So does fleeing these cities really benefit

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is willing to join the US-Iran war and is preparing to help the United States and other allies reopen the Strait of Hormuz by force, according to a new report that cited Arab officials. This comes as Iran continues its attacks on the UAE and other Gulf states in response to US-Israeli attacks on its territory. Such a move would make the UAE the first Persian Gulf country to join the conflict directly. This also comes after US President Donald Trump lashed out at allies on Tuesday for not doing more to support the US war effort against Iran,

At least 1,411 people have been killed by illegal migrants, nearly all of whom have been killed during the last 25 years, according to a list assembled by a grassroots group that opposes mass migration.
“The reason we put the list out is that a lot of people don’t realize how large the scale actually is — they usually just hear a blurb about the latest [victim],” Bill Gheen, founder of the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) grassroots group, told Breitbart News.
The list of 1,411 deaths “is a very conservative number because there are a lot of statistics that police officers

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) claims President Donald Trump’s administration is committing “assaults against immigrants” less than 10 days after 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman was murdered in the Windy City, allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien released into the United States by the Biden administration.
During a “No Kings” protest in Chicago, Illinois, over the weekend, Johnson told MS NOW in an interview that Americans must fight the Trump administration on immigration.
“We have to end the assaults against immigrants,” Johnson said, among other things.

The recent massive U.S. strike near Iran’s central city of Isfahan likely sought to render Tehran’s remaining highly enriched uranium stockpile inaccessible by burying it deep underground — a strategy that would negate the need for a prolonged and risky U.S. ground operation to extract the material, according to an Israeli military analyst writing Tuesday.
Writing in Ynet on Tuesday, Israeli military analyst Ron Ben-Yishai — a veteran Yediot Ahronot correspondent and Israel Prize recipient — assessed that the strike reflects a deliberate U.S. effort to neutralize Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile by entombing it beneath rock, soil, and collapsed tunnel infrastructure rather than attempting to remove it by force.

ABC News was out of control with their dangerous conspiracy theories Tuesday morning. In an attempt to gaslight their viewers into thinking President Trump was preparing to do something horrific against America, they pretended that the White House didn’t already have a bunker underneath it. They blatantly claimed the one reportedly being built under the new ballroom was being designed for him to hold onto power and control the country after he would refuse to leave office.
