In the wake of the Democrats’ successful flipping of a long-held GOP Texas state senate seat, one that President Trump won handily in 2024, many pundits expressed opinions about what happened and who was culpable (Republicans) or commendable (Democrats) for it.(snip) the pressing question remained: is this a palpable sign that the Democrats’ “Long Game” is beginning to turn red Texas purple?
