It will be recalled that the Constitution itself was the product of a convention of states called merely to amend the Articles of Confederation. I prefer that any amendments be proposed, considered, and adopted one at a time. Yes, President Trump called attention to this proposal once last year but has since forgotten about it. We should, too.
