Hotels are closing in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region because of safety concerns as tensions escalate between federal immigration authorities and anti-ICE protesters. The Double Tree in downtown St. Paul informed some guests with a notice slipped under the door of their rooms saying their reservation would be canceled as of noon Sunday. Staff would help guests find alternate accommodations, it said. “Please know that your safety and well-being will always be our top priority,” said the written communication, a copy of which was obtained by NewsNation. “We are taking this step out of care for you, our team members, and

A report claims that the U Visa program has become just another path to citizenship that illegal migrants have mired in fraud and abuse.
The program, launched by Congress in the year 2000, was meant as an aid to law enforcement and was thought of as a unique way to solve crimes in the migrant community that would otherwise go unsolved, mostly due to a lack of cooperation among witnesses and victims in that community.
The program allowed illegals — both victims and witnesses — to work with police to solve crimes by coming forward with tips and information on serious crimes. After working with police, the program allowed illegals to gain

Former Vice President Kamala Harris was met with mockery after she accepted the key to the city of Jackson, Mississippi, where the mayor also declared last Wednesday “Kamala Harris Day,” in honor of her many “accomplishments.”
The former Democratic presidential candidate, who is rumored to be mulling a second try at the Oval Office, was in the Magnolia State as part of a mammoth book tour promoting her memoir, “107 Days,” when she was honored by Jackson’s Mayor John Horhn (D). “Kamala, you don’t know what you mean to Jackson, Mississippi. You don’t know what you mean to Mississippi. You don’t know what you mean to America,” Horhn gushed,

In the days since Renee Good tried to run over an ICE agent in Minneapolis and was shot and killed by an ICE officer, the liberal media has found yet another offensive word to whinge over.
“The far-right has coined a new derogatory term for white women, which has gained traction following the fatal shooting of Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, in Minneapolis earlier this month,” reports The Independent. The objectionable term is the acronym AWFUL, which stands for Affluent White Female Urban Liberal. Another variant is AWFL. The New York Times was the first paper to report on this new “offensive” term.

Anti-ICE protest disrupted a Sunday church service in Minneapolis after a group of activists entered a congregation and forced worship to stop, according to footage shared online.
The incident occurred at Cities Church, a Southern Baptist Convention congregation, where protesters stormed into the sanctuary chanting anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement slogans. The group alleged that one of the church’s lead pastors was affiliated with ICE, a claim the protesters repeated while interrupting the service.
Video from inside the church shows congregants visibly shaken with the service ultimately being shut down. It is unclear how the protesters obtained the information that led them to target the church.

Trump administration officials this week touted efforts to lower car prices through regulatory rollbacks and the deemphasizing of electric vehicles during a Midwest auto industry tour. "In this administration, we are rolling back what I would argue is illegal and unattainable for a fuel economy standard," U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy told reporters Friday at a Jeep plant in Ohio, The Detroit News reported.
Duffy was referring to ambitious vehicle emissions regulations put in place during the Biden administration.
Duffy added, "Thirty-five miles to the gallon for this new fuel economy standard... which is going to, I think, bring prices down and going to allow car companies to offer products

Chris Madel, a Minneapolis defense attorney and former federal prosecutor who launched a Republican campaign for Minnesota governor last month, is facing growing scrutiny from within the state’s GOP over his political donation history and the timing of his support for Republican candidates.
Madel has positioned his campaign as a no-nonsense, outsider effort focused on combating fraud, violent crime, education failures, and affordability challenges in Minnesota following years of Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party control. He has emphasized his refusal to accept corporate PAC, union, or lobbyist money and has highlighted his prosecutorial background as central to his campaign message.
Despite this messaging, campaign finance records have become a major point of contention.

Now that the nation’s attention has turned to Minnesota and its massive welfare fraud – fraud so large (referred to as “industrial-scale” by the assistant U.S. attorney, possibly as much as $9 billion) that Democratic Gov. Tim Walz felt compelled to end his bid for re-election — we should take the opportunity to investigate the possibility of a different kind of fraud.
This kind of fraud was made possible by Walz’s signature on the so-called “Driver’s Licenses for All” law, which enabled illegal immigrants in Minnesota to receive driver’s licenses from the state.
Let’s be clear about what this policy represents. It’s not compassion. It is not common sense.

“Won’t no ICE agent ever run up on me! I’ll put a hole in their chest the size of a window.” Chairman Paul Birdsong of the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense said at an ICE protest in Philadelphia in a recent interview.
Armed members of the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense have become more visible in Philadelphia following the January 2026 self-defense shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. The group appeared at anti-ICE protests at Philadelphia City Hall carrying military-style weapons, including a semiautomatic shotgun, which Birdsong displayed while advising his followers to obtain more powerful weapons than those carried by ICE.

Recently, significant policy changes have begun moving the country back toward informed consent and individualized medical care. For the first time in decades, federal health agencies are retreating from long-entrenched models of coercion and centralized control, openly acknowledging the limits of what they know. The renewed emphasis on transparency, shared clinical decision-making, and rejection of one-size-fits-all medicine should feel like a long overdue correction. (snip) Just as the federal system begins to correct course, California and other coastal blue states are doubling down on the very coercive model that failed so catastrophically during Covid -- while insisting, with growing urgency, that they alone are "protecting science."

Dear Mr. Baker,
I am but one in a sea of many Americans viewed as a threat to the established order. I was once a part of that order. I helped build it. It would turn out I couldn’t survive because I couldn’t follow the rules of thought and speech that are mandated by everyone on the Left, especially those at the New York Times.
It’s personal, you see. I used to believe that if all I did was read Page One of the New York Times, I’d be well-informed. Brainwashed is more like it.

Democrats are feeling good about themselves right now. After some off-year election wins in 2025, they’re strutting into 2026 convinced they’re on the right side of history again. But as usual, that arrogance might be setting them up for a nasty reality check. Because one of their own—David Plouffe, Barack Obama’s former senior adviser—is waving a giant red flag.
In a New York Times op-ed titled “Democrats Will Lose in 2028 Unless They Change Course Now,” Plouffe warns that the party’s long-term future looks bleak. He says the electoral map itself is shifting out from under their feet—and unless Democrats overhaul everything, they’re heading for years of political pain.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Rows of businesses stood shuttered inside a sprawling complex of Somali businesses on a recent afternoon. Karmel Mall in south Minneapolis contains more than a hundred small businesses in suites offering everything from clothing and food to insurance and accounting services. On Thursday, the noisy hallways inside lay quiet, save for occasional chatter between neighboring vendors. The smell of fried food still wafted from the bakeries, the central heating hummed and the sound of Quran recitation flowed quietly from some shops. But many sellers sat alone in their clothing stores, waiting for the occasional customer to walk by. Everyone

Instead of treating her with kid gloves, Cruz found out first-hand that the rules are a whole lot different in the Sunshine State. She could also be seen in dashcam footage kicking out at another officer before he was forcefully introduced to the hood of a squad car, all while smiling.

RINO Congressman Don Bacon (R-NE) floated the idea of impeaching President Trump if he invades Greenland.
“I would lean that way,” he said of supporting an impeachment over Greenland. “The off-ramp is realizing Republicans aren’t going to tolerate this and he’s going to have to back off. He hates being told no, but in this case, I think Republicans need to be firm.”
Bacon announced his retirement from Congress last July, and he’s eying impeachment as his final act.
Bacon also co-sponsored a bill with Democrats to curb Trump’s power and prevent a military invasion of Greenland, which Trump has not expressed plans for.

A federal judge in Minnesota just handed down an 83-page order that perfectly illustrates how the left weaponizes language to protect lawbreakers. As PJ Media previously reported, U.S. District Judge Katherine Menendez, a Biden nominee, issued sweeping restrictions Friday on how federal immigration agents can handle what she calls "peaceful protests" in Minneapolis.
The order blocks agents from using pepper spray, making arrests, or deploying other crowd-control tools against protesters during Trump's ongoing immigration enforcement operations. Federal law enforcement also can't stop or detain drivers and passengers near demonstrations, unless there's "reasonable articulable suspicion" they're forcibly interfering with immigration operations.
In theory, one could argue there’s nothing wrong with the order.

Things are getting a bit crazy in Minnesota.
We reported how an ICE agent was attacked earlier in the week, federal vehicles were destroyed and damaged, and people even stole weapons out of the vehicles. All this isn't just falling on ICE. As we reported, Border Patrol Commander-at-Large Gregory Bovino said civilian vehicles were getting assaulted as well. But what happened to a group of tech workers at a deli in Minneapolis was pretty wild.
Five software engineers went out to eat at a local deli for a casual lunch, when one of the men got a bit of a surprise as they were eating.

Denmark has controlled Greenland since 1721. Indigenous peoples lived there for thousands of years before that. In 1953, the world’s largest island transitioned from colony to become part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Today its domestic affairs are considered self-rule, while Denmark is responsible for Greenland’s foreign policy, defense, and currency. But with regard to Greenland and the women who have lived there, Denmark has had a dirty little secret centered on population control: a relatively recent birth control practice that was forced on thousands of women, for which the country only apologized in September 2025.

The disturbing figures, compiled from eight major hospitals and 16 emergency departments, revealed between 16,500 and 18,000 people have been killed, with most victims believed to be younger than 30. “This is a whole new level of brutality,”
