Chuck Schumer Says Democrats Will Reverse

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) revealed that Democrats would “restore most of the cuts” that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had made. While taking part in a discussion at the Center for American Progress, Schumer received a question about what he “can do about bringing” the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) back, after DOGE came in and made cuts. “If you look at the budget actually, we’re working on right now — and we’ll have the T-HUD budget, you know, transportation and HUD budget, we restore most of the cuts and even go higher than previous years on many of the programs that DOGE slashed,”

The leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats would also reopen the US Borders to all comers in unlimited numbers thus negating the current Federal immigration laws again for partisan political purposes. Especially those illegal aliens from the Third World who are poor, uneducated, and unskilled, who the Democrats could categorize as being members of minority groups once they are in the USA in accordance with Democrat identity politics, and of course recruit them into new leftist Democrat constituency groups that will support the leftist Democrat political agenda and vote for the leftist Democrats either fraudulently now, or later on after they are made US Citizens legitimately.

This 'threat' is actually guaranteed should Dims win back control of DC. We on the GOP side need to 'run scared' and make sure we and EVERYONE we know vote and vote against the Dims. Unless, of course, they ARE Dims - in which case we should discourage their voting ever again.

The leftists who control the democrat party pressured Chuck to shut down the government. When the tactic failed badly, Chuck was the scapegoat. The far left has contempt for Schumer. He’s a tool for the far left until they can push him out.

Democrats are feeling good about themselves right now. After some off-year election wins in 2025, they’re strutting into 2026 convinced they’re on the right side of history again. But as usual, that arrogance might be setting them up for a nasty reality check. Because one of their own—David Plouffe, Barack Obama’s former senior adviser—is waving a giant red flag. In a New York Times op-ed titled “Democrats Will Lose in 2028 Unless They Change Course Now,” Plouffe warns that the party’s long-term future looks bleak. He says the electoral map itself is shifting out from under their feet—and unless Democrats overhaul everything, they’re heading for years of political pain.

Rep. Brad Knott (R-NC) raised important questions Saturday about the Chinese infiltrating the United States to vote in elections. Knott highlighted an article from Breitbart News’s Bradley Jaye about the “Manchurian Generation” of over one million Chinese with U.S. citizenship who could vote in the near future. In his social media post, Knott told readers he would appreciate their responses to his questions. “1. Why would China NOT exploit open borders; and 2. Sloppy application of birthright citizenship; in order to 3. Control millions of ‘American citizens’ who remain loyal to China?” he wrote:

A U.S. military strike in northwest Syria resulted in the death of a leader affiliated with Al-Qaeda who was linked to an ISIS attack last month that resulted in the death of two U.S. Army soldiers and a U.S. civilian interpreter, the U.S. Central Command announced Saturday. U.S. Central Command, which oversees U.S. military operations in the Middle East, conducted the strike on Jan. 16, killing Bilal Hasan al-Jasim, authorities said. Al-Jasim was allegedly directly connected with the ISIS gunman who killed Sgt. Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar, Sgt. William Nathaniel Howard and the interpreter and injured three other U.S. service members in Palmyra, Syria, on Dec. 13.

Did you know that Minnesota held onto a congressional seat during the last census by a bare 89 people? And does this indicate to us another reason why Democrats are outraged at deportations of thousands of illegal aliens from the state? As I have previously noted, Democrats could use illegal alien populations to rig Congress and the electoral college in their favor. How? Back in 2021, Joe “Open Borders” Biden signed an executive order requiring the U.S. Census Bureau to include all residents in its U.S. population calculations — even those who aren’t citizens. Also in 2021, AP reported that Minnesota held onto one of its eight congressional seats

Yesterday I wrote about Gov. Tim Walz sudden change of tone. After weeks of verbally escalating the conflict with ICE and the Trump administration, even saying on several occasions that the state was at war with the federal government, Walz suddenly pleaded for calm. At the time, it wasn't clear to me what had motivated his sudden change of heart. This afternoon, we're learning that both Walz and Frey are under investigation and subpoenas have been or are about to be issued to both men by the Department of Justice. The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Federal officers in the Minneapolis-area participating in its largest recent U.S. immigration enforcement operation can’t detain or tear gas peaceful protesters who aren’t obstructing authorities, including when these people are observing the agents, a judge in Minnesota ruled Friday. U.S. District Judge Kate Menendez’s ruling addresses a case filed in December on behalf of six Minnesota activists. The six are among the thousands who have been observing the activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol officers enforcing the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area since last month. Federal agents and demonstrators have repeatedly clashed since the crackdown began.

The Pentagon has since been testing the portable, backpack-sized device, which emits pulsed, radio-frequency energy and contains components of Russian origin. The sources said Homeland Security investigators believe it may be capable of reproducing the effects described by victims of Havana Syndrome.

Congress created Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to briefly assist those in need. Shakespeare warned, “Ingratitude is monstrous; and for the multitude to be ingrateful, were to make a monster of the multitude.” In the case of TPS, “multitude” is correct. As of January 2025, approximately 1.4 million foreign nationals in the United States were shielded from removal under the program. The Trump administration decided to terminate TPS for several countries, with Somalia as the most recent. That choice is the right step in a long-overdue course correction for an immigration program that previous administrations exploited far past its statutory purpose. Somalia was first designated for TPS in 1991
