OK, now do an article and list the Democrat spouses who got hired by large corporations to high profile jobs, named to corporate boards, university boards or teaching jobs, or other government positions hoping to gain favor. It is a looooooong list. Sometimes, the spouses are actually qualified for these positions and are actually there to work. Others, as a thank you and window dressing to gain favor.

I wonder if "highest levels of global finance" means she can rake it in with a heavy hand and can really hold on to it with a tight fist?

Never forget how, as soon as Obie started to look like a promising politician, Michelle Obama was appointed to the job of Vice President for Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Medical Center for $122,000 a year (in 2004 dollars). A year later, when Obie won his US Senate seat, Michelle was promoted to vice president of the Medical Center, her income rising to $316,962 in 2005 dollars. Obie promptly made sure to channel a few million more federal dollars their way.

A Maryland Democratic legislator is proposing a measure to prevent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers hired during the second Trump administration from joining state police. The measure by Delegate Adrian Boafo is titled the ICE Breaker Act of 2026 and will be introduced when the General Assembly returns for the new session next week, according to local NBC affiliate News4. “Everywhere I go in my district, folks are asking, what are we going to do about ICE?” Boafo said. “There’s only so much the state can do, but you know what I could do? Make sure that those ICE officers never have a job here in the state of Maryland.

Los Angeles County is considering designating ICE-free zones as a response to the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration. The proposal comes from Los Angeles County Supervisors Lindsey Horvath and Hilda Solis, who sit on a board that governs the county. The plan is for an ordinance to be drafted and brought before the board in 30 days. Speaking during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Horvath said, “Our federal government is killing its own citizens” in broad daylight and in front of witnesses and cameras. "People have been shot; people have been killed; families have been shattered,” said Horvath.

According to the indictment, Southerland worked as a system administrator for the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure from April 2020 through July 2023.

Democrats who have supported efforts to ban stock trading by members of Congress are frustrated by a new Republican-led bill that they say comes up short. But at least one has already signed on to support it. “If the choice in front of us is either do nothing or do something to rein in the corruption around here, then I’m willing to work with anybody to make progress,” Rep. Josh Riley said. Riley, who represents a swing district in New York, said while he’s also backing legislation “that goes a lot farther,” he won’t let the “perfect be the enemy of the good.” “I think we should force everybody to divest their stocks.

The Trump administration has canceled the Biden administration’s rules forcing banks to ignore immigration status for loan applications. On Monday, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Justice Department eliminated the Biden guidelines that ordered lenders not to consider immigration status when evaluating loan and credit applications, a rule that had major implications for mortgages, credit cards, and auto loans, Bloomberg reported. The Biden administration maintained that considering immigration status would violate anti-racism laws that ensure equal and fair lending practices. The Biden era rules were intended to help anchor illegal and temporary visa workers into Americans’ communities, for example, by providing funds for homes, autos, and apartment leases.

In Shirley's previous video, he and his source, David Hoch, who has been investigating this billion-dollar-plus scam for years, discovered multiple daycare centers in one building without children in them for years. And this is where Hoch says is the heart of the ongoing continuing criminal enterprise. Hoch says the new video will show that most of these companies are Somali-owned, and his and Shirley's visit to these companies found zero companies.
