The Minnesota daycare at the center of mounting scrutiny over public childcare funds is now officially closed.
According to state licensing records, the Quality Learning Center shut its doors this week, marking a quiet end to a facility that became nationally known after being featured in an investigative video by YouTuber Nick Shirley.
Fox News reported that the Minnesota Department of Human Services confirmed the closure, noting that the daycare’s license was formally terminated earlier this month.
“Quality Learning Center requested closure of their license and it was closed effective Jan. 6, 2026,” a Minnesota Department of Youth, Children, and Families spokesperson told Fox News.

On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas militants carried out one of the most depraved acts of violence in modern memory. Their surprise assault on Israeli civilians left roughly 1,200 people dead and some 250 taken hostage. Even more chilling was the perpetrators’ evident glee: terrorists filmed and live-streamed their brutality, broadcasting scenes of barbarism across social media in real time.
Americans initially responded to the attacks with shock. In the days that followed, however, as Israel launched counterstrikes against Hamas in Gaza, Democrats’ early expressions of solidarity with the Jewish people began to give way to a more pronounced emphasis on the Palestinian cause —

Nebraska State Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh (D) was caught on camera tearing down a PragerU historical exhibit from the walls at the state capitol.
After receiving backlash on social media, the Democrat state senator told a local news outlet that she didn’t know what she was doing, insisting that she just saw material on the walls outside her office and tore it down, having no idea what the signage represented.
The conservative organization shared video footage of Sen. Cavanaugh ripping down its Founders Museum exhibit at Nebraska’s state capitol on Wednesday.

President Donald Trump’s new executive order on Venezuelan oil revenue is meant to ensure that the money remains protected from being used in judicial proceedings.
The executive order, made public on Saturday, says that if the funds were to be seized for such use, it could “undermine critical U.S. efforts to ensure economic and political stability in Venezuela.”
The order comes amid caution from top oil company executives that the tumult and instability in Venezuela could make the country less attractive for private investment and rebuilding.
“If we look at the commercial constructs and frameworks in place today in Venezuela, today it’s uninvestable,” said Darren Woods,

A damning new revelation in the Arctic Frost case has raised calls for the imprisonment of former Special Counsel Jack Smith.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, “Operation Arctic Frost” was a taxpayer-funded Biden DOJ witch hunt launched in April 2022 that seized government-issued cell phones belonging to Trump and Pence while conducting a barrage of interviews across the country.
The 2020 Trump alternate electors prompted the Biden DOJ to open the Arctic Frost investigation into Trump and hundreds of other individuals and organizations.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley recently revealed that former Special Counsel Jack Smith targeted the “entire Republican apparatus.”

President Donald J. Trump has emerged as the first leader to stand decisively, openly, and courageously with the Iranian people themselves — against the dictatorship, against repression, and in favor of genuine freedom, democracy and peace.
What distinguishes Trump's position is not rhetoric, but resolve. For years, Western leaders have issued statements of "concern" while avoiding any action that might inconvenience their diplomatic calculations or economic interests. President Trump broke from that spinelessness.
More importantly, Trump sent a direct warning to the Iranian regime: if it continues to kill innocent protesters, he will "rescue" them: the United States will not stand idly by. This is the opposite of a call for war;

haven't heard of Diosdado Cabello, Venezuela's detested interior minister who commands an army of motorcycle goons, and who has a $25 million reward on his head, second only to former dictator Nicolás Maduro, now's a good time to get a whiff of what he's about.
He actually said this on Venezuelan state television, with his motorcycle goons all around him: Except for him, of course. His violent goon squads and death squads hunt down and kill anyone who dissents with the regime. They also deal drugs as the country's biggest drug lords, closely affiliated with Colombia's FARC and ELN Marxist narcoterrorists.

President Trump and Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei are escalating a war of words as the Islamic Republic cracks down on mass protests that saw buildings set on fire in cities across the country overnight Friday.
Khamenei claimed Friday that nearly two weeks of protests amounted to rioters and “hirelings” acting on Trump’s behalf, in a barrage of social media posts that largely took aim at the U.S. president for his repeated threats to intervene militarily in Iran to protect demonstrators. The US President who judges arrogantly about the whole world should know that tyrants & arrogant rulers of the world, such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, Mohammad Reza [Pahlavi]

Democratic strategist Julian Epstein rebuked his own party on “2WAY TONIGHT” on Thursday for rhetoric he said effectively sanctioned violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
An ICE agent fatally shot a 37-year-old woman during a Wednesday operation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, when she accelerated her car forward as agents surrounded her vehicle. Epstein said on the show that he believed inflammatory remarks from Democratic politicians about ICE contributed to the incident.

The decision by Brazil’s Federal Council of Medicine to open a formal investigation into the healthcare received by former President Jair Bolsonaro is neither a routine administrative procedure nor a hasty reaction to political noise.
It is a serious institutional act, undertaken following formal complaints that raise doubts about whether the Brazilian state ensured adequate medical care for a patient with a complex and widely known clinical history.
The initiative comes from the highest regulatory body of the medical profession and occurs at a particularly sensitive moment, both due to the personal situation of the individual involved and the country’s political climate.

She really doesn’t have much choice. President Trump has shown the Venezuelan government how the U.S. can put a complete stranglehold on the South American country if they do not adhere to the transition plans of Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the enforcer.
Following the U.S. capture of Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela’s new government under Delcy Rodríguez has begun releasing political prisoners in a bid to foster unity and peace. The change in Venezuelan politics comes directly as the result of President Trump using the military to block oil shipments, the major source of revenue for the nation.
The move seems to indicate a potential shift in Venezuela’s political landscape,

Fledgling Mayor Zohran Mamdani is already facing blowback for his tardy, halfhearted response to back-to-back police shootings – including friction with NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, The Post has learned.
Mamdani – who backed off his ardent “defund the police” stance during the mayoral campaign – waited 16 hours before he released a statement addressing the bloody pair of police-involved shootings, despite being briefed by Tisch right after each unfolded roughly six hours apart Thursday.
The murky Friday morning statement further stoked fury by emphasizing an “internal investigation” would follow the shootings, which some insiders believed implied wrongdoing by NYPD officers, when such probes are par for the course, police sources said.
