It was another wild week in the news. Delta Force pulled off one of modern history’s most impressive operations, arresting Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro in Caracas and bringing him back to the U.S. to stand trial, all within a matter of hours. Socialist Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as Mayor of New York, and delivered an inauguration speech that included a phrase that will inspire meme-makers for years to come. Minnesota frauds continued in the news, and Minneapolis once again made news in the worst possible way, with a pro-illegal immigration activist being shot as she was running over an ICE agent. Tons of gold in Mr. HInderaker's submissions as well as those of the commentariat. My personal favorite was the one of Trump's version of Risk the game of strategic conquest. His strategy may be more protectionism but he's got to do something with that territory just north of Venezuela too.

This is our 2nd historic expose’ on the South American voting systems designed in Venezuela, purportedly for fraud ballot creation. This 2nd essay on election jiggering, originally published Nov 19, 2020, has many jaw dropping insights. But now, today -- we have access to former Prez Maduro to verify his vote machines as first line offense for election overthrow. Chances are, Maduro will exchange this information for a lighter sentence. Time will tell...Stay tuned for essay #3! INTRO: Dominion Voting System – Americans now realize voting, our most important undertaking, is mishandled by private companies. Dominion casts a long, troubled shadow over democracies, with 69 client countries and 28 US states.

UPDATE, 2 p.m. Eastern: The Department of Homeland Security has attested that the footage is real. Original story: The cellphone footage multiple outlets posted on X shows the near-deadly assault on a federal immigration officer that caused him to shoot his assailant in self-defense, with the video being from the officer’s point of view. Alpha News and Townhall published what is apparently cellphone footage showing up close and personal how Renee Nicole Good, a terroristic leftist activist radicalized by other rioters, deliberately rammed her car straight into an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer standing in front of the vehicle as he told her to get out of the car. As William Buckley used to say, herewith a few thoughts…mine on the death of Renee Nicole Good and related events. Minnesota’s state and local authorities — Governor Walz, Attorney General Ellison, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, to take only the leading figures — have all but explictly called for resistance to federal law enforcement in Minnesota. Walz, for example, has referred to ICE as the Gestapo and called for “a firewall” against it in Minnesota. Walz and fellow Democrats support a form of what was called “massive resistance” when Senator Harry Byrd sought to block the integration of public schools in the era of Southern segregation. George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said on Thursday that footage shows the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent appeared to be within his rights to open fire at a vehicle in Minneapolis, Minnesota. An ICE agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good inside her vehicle after she obstructed a federal immigration enforcement operation and began to drive away. Turley said on “Fox & Friends” that legal precedent likely justifies the shooting since the vehicle may be treated as a weapon. “The fact is that under the standard of Tennessee v. Garner, this does appear to be a justified shooting. It doesn’t mean that’s how it’s going to work out.

The Left has coordinated its story on the death of Renee Good, the woman who was shot yesterday by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. The party line is that the agent didn’t need to shoot Good, because she was turning her car and wouldn’t have hit him. Thus, the New York Times’s email carries this subject heading: “Videos contradict Trump administration account of ICE shooting in Minneapolis.” The Times says: An analysis of footage shows that the vehicle driven by a woman who was fatally shot by an ICE agent appeared to be turning away from the officer as he opened fire. The Washington Post says almost exactly the same thing.

Let’s start our 2026 by imagining the worst-case scenario – that Donald Trump was somehow beaten by that drunken trollop in 2024. Where would we be right now? Well, we’d be in a very different country, and many of us might very well be in cells. You’ve got a lot of black-pilling from people on our side that not enough people have been arrested, or the administration is moving too slowly on their particular obsession, or that everything isn’t perfect, which means everything is wrong. There’s some truth to that, because we can always do better, but we cannot forget that divine Providence has smiled upon us.

Forget January 6. It turns out January 7 might go down as the date when insurrection really arrived in America — not from the MAGA right, but from the anti-Trump left. In the aftermath of the fatal shooting Wednesday in Minneapolis of a woman who appears to have tried to ram an ICE agent with her vehicle, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced at a press conference that he had issued a warning order to prepare the Minnesota National Guard to mobilize to “protect Minnesotans” from “rogue ICE agents.” When asked if the National Guard would be deployed against federal agents, or if anything like that has ever happened before, Walz said,

Whenever Minnesota Governor Tim Walz leaves office, he will leave in disgrace — even puttting the world-beating frauds over which he has presided to one side. He has compiled the worst gubernatorial record in Minnesota history. In addition to the damage he has done to the state, he is dishonest, stupid, vain, petty, thin-skinned, and tyrannical. On the national stage in the 2024 presidential elelction, with his previously undisaplayed effeminate theatrics, we also observed that he is a phony. All in all, a thoroughly repulsive character. At his press conference yesterday Walz attacked First Assistant United States Attorney Joe Thompson, implying that Thompson should be fired for providing Minnesotans his assessment

You may have seen the news story about an attack on J.D. Vance’s Ohio home. Someone smashed windows with a hammer. There was no danger of physical injury, as Vance and his family were not at home. Still, this is the kind of thing that not long ago would have been unthinkable. The perpetrator, no master criminal, has been apprehended. William DeFoor is the son of left-wing parents who are Democratic Party donors. Also, he is a “trans” who now wants to be called Julia. (X) The “trans” segment of the population is vanishingly small. Driving down Snelling Avenue in St. Paul yesterday, I had a flashback from days gone by. Several protesters were flashing “No blood for oil” signs at Snelling and Grand. They took me back to 2003 and Bushitler — how quaint. Perhaps the signs were recycled. One of the protesters even sported a full face mask. I should have stopped to ask whether the mask was to scare off Covid or to conceal his or her identity, but I passed by. Today I read that an organization named The People’s Forum is spinning up protests against the extraction of Nicolás Maduro from Venezuela to face American justice.

Hope Walz appeared on “One Hour Detours” with host John O’Sullivan just hours after her dad announced he was bowing out of the 2026 governor’s race “to kind of get that target off of Minnesota.” “I think there was enough truth to the fraud claim,” the 25-year-old said. However, she then whined that President Trump and his supporters had twisted and amplified the scandal involving Minnesota’s generous social safety net.

George Wallace didn’t do that. Ross Barnett didn’t do that. Walz can’t seriously think that the Minnesota National Guard can militarily resist federal authority.
