Homeland Security: Hilton Hotels Refusing
Rooms to DHS Officers

Homeland Security used an X post Monday to say that Hilton Hotels are denying rooms to Department of Homeland Security officers in the Minneapolis area. DHS titled the post, “No Room at the Inn!” Last week, KATV noted that DHS officers were on the ground in Minneapolis investigating fraud claims in Minnesota. They noted the DHS was there after reports of “federally funded businesses that don’t do that they say they do.”

A franchise Hampton Inn is a far cry from the actual Hilton hotels. That is the low budget option that most hotels own now in their portfolio. I am sure the Hilton will quickly take care of that owner.

The Senate confirmed journalist Sara Carter in a party-line vote Tuesday as the United States' new "drug czar," who will help with the administration's efforts to curb the fentanyl crisis in the country. President Donald Trump nominated Carter, an investigative journalist who has covered the fentanyl crisis and border security, for the post last year. She will officially serve as the director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. Carter was confirmed in a 52-48 split. Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul voted against the confirmation. The journalist has received multiple national awards for her coverage of national security issues, including

The United States Mint released into circulation on Monday the first of five newly designed quarters to commemorate the nation’s 250th birthday, and this one focuses on America’s Christian heritage. The Mayflower Compact Quarter features on the front side two Pilgrims, a man and a woman, under a banner that reads “E Pluribus Unum,” which is Latin for “out of the many, one.” It also includes the national motto, “In God We Trust.” The other side depicts the Mayflower ship, in which the Pilgrims traveled to the New World in 1620, with the words “Mayflower Compact” and “Liberty” beneath it.

The appropriations bill for the Department of Labor and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) contains $5.69 billion in funding for refugee assistance services, which is three times higher than it was prior to President Joe Biden’s time in office. Paul, the chair of the Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee, said, “The big spenders in Congress are back in DC, hoping to pass a bill that spends billions on refugee benefits despite widespread reports of fraud.

In one of his autopen’s last acts before Joe Biden left office was to pardon Capt. Mike Byrd, the DC officer who shot and killed January 6 protester Ashli Babbitt in cold blood during the protests on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021. As TGP’s Brian Lupo noted, video evidence captured Byrd shooting an unarmed Babbitt without warning as she attempted to climb through a narrow window near a barricaded entryway to the Speaker of the House’s office area in the U.S. Capitol. Following an investigation, Byrd was cleared of any wrongdoing, although questions remain about the escalation to lethal force without attempts to subdue or detain Babbitt.

Chinese state-run propaganda outlets are promoting U.S. protests against the Trump Administration’s arrest of Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro. The protests appear to be organized by a Chinese Communist Party-linked financial network in the United States. After this weekend’s U.S. military-led operation capturing Venezuela’s leader and sending him to the U.S. to be prosecuted by the Justice Department, street protests opposing Maduro’s arrest were quickly organized in New York City and elsewhere by the Marxist revolutionary group known as The People’s Forum, the far-left anti-war group Code Pink, the leftist Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation

Nicolas Ernesto Maduro Guerra, 35, who was also indicted by the US alongside his father and mother in 2020, remained defiant on Sunday as he claimed that he will do whatever possible to free his parents and oppose US-backed rule in Venezuela. “You will see us in the streets.

A Minnesota hotel operating under the Hilton Hotels brand canceled reservations for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Department of Homeland Security agents earlier this month, a decision that led Hilton to cut ties with the independently owned location. “The independent hotel owner had assured us that they had fixed this problem and published a message confirming this,” Hilton said in a statement Tuesday morning. “A recent video clearly raises concerns that they are not meeting our standards and values. As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this hotel from our systems.”

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said Monday an American takeover of Greenland would amount to the end of the NATO military alliance. Her comments came in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s renewed call for the strategic, mineral-rich Arctic island to come under U.S. control in the aftermath of the weekend military operation in Venezuela. The dead-of-night operation by U.S. forces in Caracas to capture leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife early Saturday left the world stunned, and heightened concerns in Denmark and Greenland, which is a semiautonomous territory of the Danish kingdom and thus part of NATO.

There is some good news within this announcement as Justin Trudeau’s former Deputy Prime Minister to Canada is well known to both President Donald Trump and North American political followers for a decade.Chrystia Freeland was the former lead of the Canadian trade delegation when Trudeau realized he needed to try and offset the economic damage within the renegotiated NAFTA agreement known as the USMCA. Freeland was also the lead attack agent behind the debanking effort against Canadian truckers who opposed the vaccine mandate. In addition to holding Ukraine roots, the ideology of Chrystia Freeland as a multinational globalist and promoter for the World Economic Forum’s ‘new world order’ is well documented.

China has never been more trade-dependent in its history. Xi Jinping's only hope for an economy that is probably contracting is to increase exports. He knows — or should know — that he is in no position to disrupt international commerce. Xi apparently believes that a high degree of tension is in his personal interest because continual confrontation would prevent political adversaries from challenging or even deposing him.... Any incident, therefore, could spiral out of control. The United States has treaty obligations to defend two likely victims of Chinese aggression — Japan and the Philippines — and has a moral obligation and many practical reasons to defend Taiwan.
