Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson will undergo a "major operation" on Tuesday. Hanson, 72, a famed author, scholar and conservative commentator, frequently appears on Fox News Channel. He shared the news of his procedure last week on his podcast "Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words." Exactly what was said above. I just listened to his History of The Second World Wars on Audible. I've read a lot of World War II history, but his book was a revelation. It changed the way I thought about things I thought I already knew. That's what he does. He is a superb teacher, a common sense conservative, and a principled and decent man by all accounts. Wish him all the best for a speedy recovery. He is irreplaceable.

In an interview with Harrison Berger, formerly of Drop Site News (which received $250,000 from George Soros), Tucker Carlson claimed that the recent TPUSA poll showing that a majority of attendees thought that “Radical Islam” was the greatest threat to America was really an Israeli “op”. “I don’t know anyone in the United States in the last 24 years who’s been killed by radical Islam.” Tucker Carlson claimed. He argued that, “I believe in measuring reality a little more empirically” meaning that since, presumably Tucker didn’t know them personally, they don’t matter and don’t exist.

Heavily armed Australian police swooped on a group of men heading to Bondi Beach on Thursday after intelligence suggested they could be planning a “violent act” days after 15 people were slaughtered at a Hanukkah event there. The suspects were nabbed in two cars with out-of-state license plates in Sydney’s south-west just days after two ISIS terrorists shot up the famed beach. Chaotic footage captured SWAT teams searching and cuffing five bloodied men after authorities rammed their vehicle in the broad-daylight sting.

Chaos reportedly erupted in Amsterdam late Sunday night as masked attackers stormed a Hanukkah concert, sending concertgoers into panic. The assault comes just hours after a deadly assault on Bondi Beach (Australia), where over 15 Jews have been killed during a Hanukkah event. Eyewitnesses described terrified attendees fleeing the venue as security forces arrived to secure the area. “This is an appalling attack on innocent people celebrating their faith,” said one member of the public who witnessed the event. Emergency services were reportedly on site to assist those affected, so far no deaths have been reported.

Metaphorically speaking, VP JD Vance has been sitting for quite a while on a splintery fence, trying to camouflage his dislike of Jews and Israel with fancified language, while at the same time,

Kids are arriving on college campuses with fewer skills and diminished attention spans. But, rather than challenge students, many colleges are lowering institutional standards to accommodate them. Colleges around the country have English courses that require students to read a single book all semester. Ivy League schools are rolling out remedial math classes. And some schools are teaching kids skills as basic as structuring sentences. Colleges surely have a challenge on their hands as high schools graduate less distinguished classes, but lowering the bar is the sort of coddling that keeps kids from reaching their potential. College is meant to stretch you to your intellectual max. It’s not a time for hand-holding.
