Last month, Florida Attorney General James Uttmeier made public a letter to the American Bar Association (“ABA”) accusing it of violating the First Amendment right to religious freedom when it said a Catholic law school did not meet one of its equal opportunity accreditation standards. The school is Florida’s St. Thomas University College of Law, and the standard is number 205, titled “Non-discrimination and Equal Opportunity.” The ABA’s finding did not specify how St. Thomas fell short.
Standard 205 is distinct from the ABA’s standard 206, which requires law schools to commit to diversity ideology to get accredited.

I remember well the day I resigned from the ABA in disgust. Phil Anderson from Little Rock was the president of that outfit and he invited the recently-disbarred Webb Hubbel to give the ethics presentation at that year's annual meeting. "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy,"

So: let me understand.
There is no problem with the scholastics of the school , but the Bar Association has declared that this school does not allow enough blacks to lower the standards of the school and so they take away it's accreditation?
What horse dung. Who made the ABA god to tell all schools how many of this or that they must allow before they can teach the law. Liberalism has invaded this country and is destroying us.

The ABA is what it is because because it is supported by bottom dwelling lawyers. A big fix is in order.

Only around 20% (at most) of all lawyers belong to the ABA and yet they pretend too speak for all lawyers. The organization is basically pointless other than to promote leftist viewpoints - and judges. Most
lawyers came to the conclusion early in their career that it wasn't worth several hundred dollars a year to support a very liberal organization when all you get in return is a plastic plaque to put on the wall and a monthly worthless liberal magazine.

For those of you under the age of 60, lawyers were not allowed to advertise on tv back in the early 70's. If one wanted a lawyer, one went to the yellow pages of the phone book. It was thought that letting lawyers advertise on tv would create more lawsuits and swamp the courts with cases, and the increased lawsuits would eventually result in higher prices for almost everything. The ABA was backing this law to the hilt. As were most lawyers in Congress. The result of the passage of this law allowing advertising can be seen and felt by everyone. So, while everyone is screaming about the cost of healthcare, it just wasn't Obozocare that caused it. Thank the elected representatives in Congress, and the ABA.

If we were to abolish these two institutions, law schools and schools of education, the impact could be felt within 5-10 years. They are both dens of sedition and radical Marxism. Legal and educational apprenticeship has more value and will provide better quality people to do the job than any worthless university connected institution ever will.

I have often told anyone who asked about it that one should never encourage anyone to become an attorney. On that same subject, one should never encourage the creation of another law school.

And the author is such a distinguished legal scholar that she couldn't even spell the name of the Florida Attorney General correctly.
Glaring error in the first 5 words of a lengthy piece = FAIL. Credibility gone.
