The left beclowns itself, again and again

The left beclowns itself again and again It is actually rather sad … the Democrats keep trying out new narratives every couple of days. This week, it is the blowing up of narcoterrorist boats. This is a bad thing, they say. Cocaine from Venezuela has killed tens of thousands of Americans, but the Democrats are mad that our fabulous military is taking them off the map. Never mind that Venezuela has been shipping drugs to the U.S. and rigging elections around the world for decades. A few weeks ago, the Dems' hair was on fire over the Jeffrey Epstein documents they were demanding be released.

And yet half the country still falls for it time after time. No matter how absurd the story, there are plenty of people who repeat it and defend it like it came from God himself.

The Left is becoming more strident, emphatic in their expressions of hate mongering... while they may be painting themselves into a corner... but which way is the needle really moving? We have encouraging signs for patriots at present but it's a lifetime between here and the midterms.

"Their ignorance stems from their belief in their control over the narrative." Not so long ago, this was true. The media would report in what the dems were saying and then go to the deep state agents in government to vouch for the story. It was all a carefully planned and staged setup. The most ridiculous things could be "proved" to be "true" by this method. Trump undermined all the aspects of this process. First, he labeled the media as Fake News and enough media stories crashed and burned over time to make the public doubt the credibility of the legacy news. Second, he trounced the dems in 2024. They are out of power. Plus their dismal record of mismanagement under Biden continues to haunt them. Very few people, even dem voters, are interested in what dem "leadership" has to say. Strike 3 has been Trump's gutting of the Deep State by cutting their finding and firing their actors in government. The whole process the Left used for narrative control has been wiped out. That doesn't stop the media from trying to start things, but they usually die aborning because no credible people can back them up. Ever time the media does this, they destroy their credibility even more. They are in a death spiral and have no way out. Sometimes, Conservatives despair too much because we still see the media saying dumb stuff. We have to realize, it isn't getting any traction. They have to do it because they have no other tools to use and their egos and salaries are on the line, but it is costing them every time they try and fail. Meanwhile, Conservative and moderate sources are growing. The Left is like the child throwing a tantrum in the grocery store. They are annoying and won't stop but ultimately they are impotent. We need to go about our business and ignore the brats.

The Left has destroyed themselves. The Right (as in Trump and others) needs to be careful not to shoot themselves in the foot while they are in control.

Nuts to that. California Gov. Gavin Newsom was roasted online for his bizarre AI-created reaction to being called out by The Post for sitting in a testicle-crushing pose during an interview. Newsom’s press office took to X Friday to try and deflect from the many masculinity-mocking pol-watchers with a doctored image of the governor in an even more compromising yoga-style pose on stage at The New York Times Dealbook Summit. “Democracy requires flexibility,” the tone-deaf Governor Newsom Press Office wrote in a caption to the post. The strange attempt at humor fell flat with X-users who were aghast at the extra eyeful of Gavin. “They…Posted this?” Mark Mitchell from Rasmussen Report.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Mehmet Oz on Friday warned Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz the state could lose federal Medicaid funding unless it restores "the integrity" of its program. In a post on X, Dr. Oz claimed more than $1 billion had been stolen through a massive Medicaid fraud scheme carried out by "bad actors" within Minnesota’s Somali community, alleging some of the funds "may have even made its way to the Somalian terrorist group (al-Shabab)." "Our staff at CMS told me they’ve never seen anything like this in Medicaid —

With the reversal of Roe, abortion legislation is now back in the hands of the states, but any success for the pro-life movement was unacceptable for New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin. Thus, he decided to target pro-life centers in New Jersey in a way that stood to intimidate the center’s donors, and possibly threaten its services: Platkin, a Democrat appointed by Gov. Phil Murphy, began scrutinizing pregnancy counseling centers in July 2022 by launching a ‘strike force’ to promote abortion access in the wake of the Supreme Court’s landmark Dobbs decision. Platkin said such facilities presented consumer fraud concerns because they misled donors and clients about the services they offered.

A writer at the LA Times clearly has his head in the sand, as evidenced by his latest piece, where he pretends that “things have changed” because Democrats with seriously scandalous pasts are still elected to office, or surging toward election. He cites three examples: gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter in California who berated her staff; Graham Platner in Maine who had a Nazi tattoo and berated blacks and the police, and now-AG of Virginia who wished for the shooting death of his opponent and his children. (These three individuals are all still supported by most of the media and their fellow Democrats.)

Navy Adm. Frank Bradley, the commander who oversaw the Sept. 2 strikes on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean, denied that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered his subordinates to “kill everybody” aboard the vessel during briefings to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. The denial follows a report from The Washington Post last week that the Pentagon chief gave a spoken directive to “kill everybody” ahead of the U.S. military’s Sept. 2 attack against an alleged drug-smuggling vessel in the Caribbean, an operation where 11 “narco-terrorists” were killed.

If this were not a family news website, I would have used a more colorful title. One of the defining features of our age is the incredible stupidity of many of those in the public eye. People with the IQ of an acorn lecture us about climate change or that boys and girls are interchangeable like socks. Sports stars, music makers, billionaires, and Hollywood grandees can never find the off switch to their mouths when they discuss things that they do not understand. That never stops them. Whichever way the wind is blowing left, they add their views, though the world would be better off without their empty "wisdom."

There’s a reason that women like Olivia Nuzzi used to be shunned by polite society in more orderly times. Any woman who sets her sights on a married man is making a deliberate, selfish choice to cause pain to another woman. This is not a sisterly act. Through history, women who make enemies of other women are seen as lethal to the tribe’s cohesion and are cast out. That’s the way it was when shame existed, and genteel social norms had replaced stoning or drowning or other horrors the medieval world bestowed on women. Olivia Nuzzi's book "American Canto" was released this week and panned by critics.

Many Americans sense our country is drifting into turmoil—and, in many ways, it is. The headlines tell a grim story: an Afghan national once connected to U.S. intelligence is accused of shooting two National Guard troops in Washington, D.C.; New York City’s mayor-elect, a citizen only since 2018, lectures the Oval Office and his constituents on “international law”, apparently unaware of the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause; deeply troubling incidents involving migrant communities in Minnesota and Michigan; and an atmosphere of accusation coming from the political left, in which President Trump is alternately branded a dictator, a king, and a fascist. In such moments, people naturally look for clarity and explanation.

Solomon on Tuesday defeated McGreevey, who resigned from his post as governor in 2004 after revealing that he had an extramarital affair with a man, in an election to succeed current Mayor Steve Fulop (D), who opted to instead run for governor. Fulop lost in the Democratic gubernatorial primary to New Jersey Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill (D). Solomon and McGreevey ran in a crowded race in November that included five others for the mayoral seat.

The preliminary and partial results showed that Mr. Trump’s pick, Nasry Asfura, and the sportscaster, Salvador Nasralla, were in the lead, with ballots from nearly 56 percent of polling places counted. The candidate for the left-wing party in power, Rixi Moncada, was trailing far behind, the early results showed, with around half the votes cast for each of the right-wing candidates.

Why did the war in Ukraine start in 2021? As in 2008 and 2012, but unlike 2017 to 2021, Vladimir Putin sensed an American president would not or could not deter him, so he invaded a former Soviet republic. Under past presidents, Putin saw no downside to grabbing Ossetia, the Donbas, and Crimea. Putin was also led to believe the West or Joe Biden would not challenge him following the recent humiliating U.S. withdrawal from Kabul. Biden’s unfortunate remark that a “minor” Russian invasion might not invoke a U.S. response did not help.Based on past experience, Putin saw no real obstacle to a quick victory. Why didn’t NATO deter Russia?

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-CA, called President Donald Trump a “killer” because he ordered the destruction of suspected drug trafficking boats. She said that the air strikes outraged her. "I am outraged... He doesn't know whom [sic] they are or whether they are innocent or whether they're guilty," Water said. "He should follow the laws. The law does not allow or intend for the president of the United States to kill anyone he wants to kill." MacArthur Park has erupted into LA’s fentanyl ground zero — a collapsing, chaos-soaked war zone where overdoses hit by the hour, people die daily, crime crews corner the market — and what used to be a neighborhood park now teeters on the brink of total collapse. The park, the largest green space in the district, now hosts an unknown number of unhoused people, though on most days it’s fair to estimate the population in the hundreds. MacArthur’s unofficial “residents” are made comfortable by groups handing out food and even free crack pipes as part of “safe smoking” kits — with tens of millions of dollars coming from the city

He later wrote in his private diary: It took the attack on Pearl Harbor to awaken Americans to the threat that the world faced 82 years ago today. Recognizing that the online news purveyors could best be silenced by depriving them of funds, it first targeted UK outfits, but moved on in an attempt to starve U.S. outfits like American Thinker, Breitbart, Zero Hedge, and the Federalist of advertising revenue, and astroturfing defamation of such sites.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has dismantled long-standing congressional barriers that shielded unaccountable bureaucrats from the people’s elected leader. On Friday, a three-judge panel ruled 2-1 that President Donald J. Trump, and any future commander-in-chief, has the unfettered right to remove members of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) without cause. The decision, penned by Circuit Judge Neomi Rao Katsas and joined by Judge Justin Walker, both appointed by Trump, reverses lower court rulings that had propped up these “for cause” removal protections as relics of a bygone era.
