Former Harvard President and leading Democratic Party intellectual Larry Summers has announced that he is “stepping back” from public activities as a result of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, as revealed in Epstein’s recently-released emails. Among other things, Summers visited Epstein’s notorious island. Now another Democrat is in trouble: Kathy Ruemmler, the General Counsel of Goldman Sachs: Emails reveal Ruemmler, a former Obama White House attorney who also referred to herself as Epstein’s lawyer in one email, had a friendly relationship with the disgraced financier. She wrote to Epstein on September 19 2014: “I’ll be here all week… you may get sick of me…” After Ruemmler messaged Epstein “Most girls do not

Pedophilia (sp) is a career enhancement if you're a democrat, so releasing the files will only hurt republicans, if any are mentioned.

Not to be pedantic but the proper designation is ephebophilia instead of Pedophilia. "ephebophilia, the sexual preference of an adult for mid- to late adolescents, specifically those who have reached or are near physical maturity but are below the legal age of adulthood. Often, the adolescents are aged 15 or 16 but in some cases may be slightly older". -Encyclopedia Britannica Either way, it's not a moral or ethical disorder in an adult although many of us could certainly have been guilty back in our high school days.

Dems are walking a fine line here, trying to implicate DJT while protecting their own. They had 4 years to investigate this but ignored it. I don't think this will be the bombshell the MSM makes it out to be, but if a few Democrat soldiers take a fall, I'm good with that.

Pedophilia was never an issue as I recall. It involves children no older than 13. Epstein was interested in older teenagers who physically resembled woman.

The Democrats have a long history of being in bed with entertainment industry elites. I don't like to use the word "Hollywood" when writing about the lefties in showbiz, because there are a lot of conservatives working behind the cameras there. Most of the stars, as we are painfully aware, are enthusiastic socialists, mostly because they can afford to be. This relationship between the Dems and entertainers has given the latter the false impression that they know something about American politics. Some do, but even those who have some activist experience are still out of touch due to the aforementioned wealth.

YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty was arrested for drug possession and other charges in Miami Beach after he was found disrupting traffic to allegedly film social media content, police said. Miami Beach Police announced that the 22-year-old was taken into custody early Saturday on multiple charges, including possessing amphetamine and marijuana, along with resisting an officer without violence. "The Miami Beach Police Department remains steadfast in its commitment to maintain public safety and order throughout the city—regardless of celebrity status," the agency said. "The Department will continue to take proactive enforcement action against behavior that endangers residents, visitors, or officers and will hold all individuals accountable under the law."

Normally I wouldn’t do anything so facile as to blame inflation on a particular politician, but given that the Democrats are pinning their hopes on hanging the “affordability crisis” around President Trump’s neck, a little historical perspective is in order. Thus, from the Unleash Prosperity Hotline: We went back to January 2020 when the pandemic started. We found that 13.5% of cumulative inflation (prices are 24% higher today) has happened under Trump, while 86.5 percent of cumulative inflation happened under Biden. So the “affordability crisis” is the hangover effect of Bidenomics when the White House dumped some $4 trillion of helicopter money out the windows. This chart shows it nicely:

I’m a gamer. An old-school tabletop role-play gamer. There, I said it. I started playing Dungeons & Dragons when I was thirteen, right around the time Mazes and Monsters hit theaters and scared the living daylights out of every suburban parent in America. That was the era when people honestly thought dice and graph paper could summon demons. I lived through the “D&D is satanic” panic — the tracts, the sermons, the moral hysteria. My own father once threw my little brother’s entire hardcover Second Edition collection into the foundation of a house he was pouring, including the first-print Monster Manual. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) struggled to offer a coherent response when a reporter questioned him on why Democrats should be trusted on the Jeffrey Epstein story when a member of his own party was caught texting with the disgraced sex predator during a congressional hearing in 2019. For a brief background on that, RedState reporter Nick Arama covered the story of Democrat Del. Stacey Plaskett, who the Washington Post revealed was texting Epstein in real-time during the hearing and steering her questioning of an anti-Trump witness at his behest. (X) To nobody's surprise, few in the media are talking about Plaskett's interactions with Epstein, which, in a sane world,

While there was still some fallout from the shutdown debacle, the press dutifully followed the lead of the Democrats to distract from that failure. And distract did they ever! The release of selective emails from the Jeffrey Epstein estate by the Democrats on the subcommittee had the press in overdrive, insisting that there was proof to bring down the president. The keyword there is “insist,” as all the examples trotted out and highlighted were sorely lacking in accuracy or actual proof. But do not be swayed by the lack of evidence; take their word for it, this will cause Trump’s demise!

If you live in one of the states or municipalities that held elections in 2025 – or, really, if you've been paying attention for the last 10 years – you already know that Democrats still don't have any electoral messaging that doesn't revolve around Donald Trump. He seems to consume their every waking thought and certainly is invoked in much of their campaign rhetoric; in a party devoid of ideas and overtaken by socialists and other far-left radicals, simply being anti-Trump is their best pitch to the American people. In Virginia this year, Republican candidate for governor Winsome Earle-Sears was painted as a Trump loyalist, which is hilarious on its face

For the year ending March 2025, the license fee raised £3.8 billion, 65 percent of the Beeb’s total income. There is growing resentment about the fee. “Some people ask,” said one news report, “why they should be forced to pay for the BBC if they do not use its services.” Good question. The proposed changes—which were recently approved by the service's governors—follow the release of its fiscal year 2025 financial results, which showed losses of $9 billion, despite a fairly modest revenue growth. The proposed changes will increase rates by 6.6 percent for Priority Mail, 5.1 percent for Priority Mail Express, 7.8 percent for USPS Ground Advantage, and 6 percent for Parcel Select.

“Don’t give up the ship.” The phrase was made famous by Captain James Lawrence as he lay mortally wounded from the battle between his USS Chesapeake and British frigate HMS Shannon off the coast of Boston during the War of 1812. Unfortunately for the captain, even though his phrase became legendary within the Navy, his ship was in fact captured by the Brits. Now, a group of Democrat lawmakers is reviving the exhortation in a minute-and-a-half video that urges military troops and intelligence officials to defy orders from above that they deem illegal. Any one of the issues could do away with Comey’s charges before he’s ever put on trial. “This is what happens when you try to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear,” said Barbara McQuade, a former U.S. attorney.

The Washington State Department of Health described the unidentified patient as being “older” and having “underlying health conditions.” The agency noted that the man has a “mixed backyard flock of domestic poultry” at his home in Grays Harbor County, on the southwest Pacific coast of the state.

They were hoping the new map would yield control of 30 of the state’s 38 congressional districts — up from the 25 they currently hold — and help protect the narrow GOP majority in the U.S. House.

If Hochul blocks tax hikes on the rich to fund “universal child care,” warned state Sen. Jabari Brisport at a “Tax the Rich” rally Sunday, “she has to go.” Brisport complains she’s shot down such plans twice before; “If you get a third strike, you’re out,” he threatened, to wild applause. Another tax-the-rich crowd booed Hochul — to her face — when she took the stage at a Mamdani event with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders a few weeks ago.
