It occurred to me watching Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point memorial event that I was witnessing something I had not seen in my long lifetime — a country-wide spiritual revival. I don’t know the overseas watching stats but for America, this had to strike terror into the (alleged) hearts of leftists. What I felt go through me as the “He is Holy” song was sung by almost 100,000 people who raised their arms toward heaven, it was clear that a bridge was crossed. Cracker Barrel got its butt whupped last week when it tried to change its logo from the old-fashioned one to a sterile new one. Stockholders and the public rebelled, good and hard. Cracker Barrel saw the error of its ways and relented, caving in to public pressure; it brought back the old logo. But the logo isn’t the problem.
Just yesterday, Cracker Barrel, with its deeply ingrained DEI structure, tried again to nickel-dime the American consumer by cancelling only one of its far-left sponsorships — they withdrew support for “Nashville Pride”, a gay street event.

The Martin Luther King Jr. conspiracy has an eerie ring to it: as we’ve been told, the FBI et al. couldn’t find much on him, so they engaged in a non-stop effort to discredit, smear, and destroy his reputation. It sounds very much like what they tried and are still trying to do to Trump. The Deep State and FBI and counter-intel finally got their wish — King was assassinated. I have little regard for MLK’s moral code: he wasn’t a saint by a long-shot, but what stands out is the government involvement once again
As I watched yet another failed effort by the Democrats to impeach Trump, my first reaction was, “Wow, some Democrats are catching on that this radical behavior is a very bad idea.” It seems that their far-left outrages of the past few years have driven them so far off the normalcy spectrum that voters tossed them aside in huge numbers last November in order to say that no more deeply disturbing perverseness and anti-Americanism will be tolerated. Trump won in a massive victory when the voters rejected delusionary thinking in an anti-trans, anti-perversion, pro-America keel-hauling of the Democrat party.

Now that DEI is on its way out (with some major holdouts like Costco and Disney), something intelligent should replace it.
With our culture's fondness for acronyms, we need a new one such as MCF. It's not enough to say just "Let's go back to the way it was" because too many people don't remember or never knew how it is supposed to be.
We need hiring and promotion based solely on Merit, Competence, and Fairness.
COSTCO's DEI tone-deafness

It seems COSTCO has not gotten the message and is doubling down on its DEI policies while other large companies and many small ones are jettisoning their DEI programs. As if this were not enough, COSTCO is threatening its shareholders with lawsuits if they do not jump as high as the DEI devils want. Right now: "The proposal noted that while Costco has changed around the names of its DEI initiatives, they remain rather unchanged in practice. “With 310,000 employees, Costco likely has at least 200,000 employees who are potentially victims of this type of illegal discrimination because they are white, Asian, male or straight,”...
President Trump can handle himself just fine, but I would especially love to see him win over the Black community bigly and sweep this election handily.

The American media and political class have a new mantra: Conservatives and Republicans are weird.
We’re weird? Seriously? They can say that with a straight face? I’ll tell you what’s really weird.
What’s weird is men in women’s clothing, sometimes with mustaches, being placed in high positions in our government. Some of them steal suitcases and clothing.

Recent reports that everyone’s favorite Vice President is about to enjoy a major career enhancement should remove any doubt of a divine power intent upon intervening on America’s behalf. Nixon had his Ford insurance policy to shield against impeachment. The thought of that dummy becoming president was supposed to shield against Nixon’s enemies defenestrating him. How well did that work out? Saint Kamala of California was supposed to be Biden’s Ford. It is beginning to look like this analogy is becoming more true than anyone could have anticipated.

Chicago taxpayers could be on the hook for hundreds of millions of dollars for the costly Obama Presidential Center after new tax filings show the Obama Foundation has only deposited $1 million into its promised $470 million reserve fund.
That’s the conclusion of an in-depth report by Fox News as it looked at what it described as a “sweetheart deal” to create the reserve fund “to spare taxpayers should the project ever go belly up.”

Protesters gathered Friday afternoon to oppose the recent arrest of Ian Roberts, an alleged illegal alien working as a high-ranking school official in Des Moines, Iowa.
Earlier that day, Roberts had evaded arrest from immigration officers; he was superintendent of the Des Moines Public Schools system, according to KCCI-TV in Iowa.
After catching him, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Roberts possessed an illegally-owned pistol, which he carried in a school-issued car. He also reportedly had $3,000 cash and a fixed-blade hunting knife.

In the matter of James Brien Comey Jr., how finds the court? I do not mean a court of law. I mean the tribunal of history. Granted, we will be hearing from a Virginia court of law about JBC quite soon. On Thursday, Comey became the first former FBI director in history to be indicted by a grand jury for a felony. Numerous shots were fired from a passing boat into a crowded dockside North Carolina restaurant on Saturday night in a shooting that killed three people and left some eight injured.
Officials said the unidentified boater pulled up to the American Fish Company restaurant in Southport Yacht Basin and opened fire into the crowd of unsuspecting diners at around 9:30 p.m.
