The Democrats have been losing support from voters for well over a decade. It’s to the point now where they’re getting desperate. The Hill mentioned this in an article from August 22:
A devastating New York Times report Wednesday showed that of the 30 states that maintain voter registration records by political party, Democrats fell behind Republicans in all of them between the 2020 and 2024 elections. In total, Republicans added up to 4.5 million voters compared to Democrats, creating a huge hole that could set Democrats back for years. “I think it should be an alarm” for the party, Democratic strategist Eddie Vale. “I think it’s a real problem.”

FTA: "t’s early yet, so we have no substantial data from which to draw, but the effect of all this on the voter registrations cannot be looking good for Democrats. So, that's a question. Another question: will we be seeing more violence in support of the left between now and the midterms?"
The answer is clearly yes.
Also, the declining DemoRoid registration is one of many reasons they are fighting so hard to keep illegal aliens in the US, especially blue cities and states.

One day voting, paper ballot and voter id - the 'Rat party will be delegated to the trash heap of history. In fact would have been a decade ago!

When you hear brain-dead dopes like Swallwell, Schumer, Schiff, Booker and a plethora of other bloviating fools in front of a microphone, you can smell, taste and sense the desperation as soon as they open their mouths. The current trend of using mean, foul language makes them sound like middle school brats trying to scare the other kids out of their lunch money. Let them talk because every appearance loses a few more voters.

The best thing is that, as dems continue to collapse, they are still trying to use tactics that no longer work. The public is ignoring propaganda media messaging, the very attempts further eroding media credibility as well as dems viability. They stage obnoxious and violent protests which show how crude and repulsive they are. They try to make statements in Congress and other venues to make their point but the content of what they say is blatantly vacuous. They claim untruths that have been completely discredited.
And more and more of their corrupt and illegal actions are being exposed. Their defense of these revelations exceed gross incompetence.
All this causes people to ask, "Who are these idiots and, knowing what we now know, how can they think we would support them?".
Almost no one on the Left has any viable answers to this question.
And the sad thing is, perhaps 25+% of the country think that the Left is the correct way to go, despite clear proof that it is a governance dead end.

Trump has turned off their money spigot.
The minorities have figured out that they are all talk and no action.
They lose more than they win in the Supreme Court.
The illegals are going home, so they won't be voting for Dems any time soon.
Trump has ordered a new census, likely causing them to lose seats in Congress.
The MSM is no longer parroting the DNC talking points so as to avoid lawsuits.
The average voter is disgusted with what the Dem party has become.
Yep, desperation is the word.

Don't believe this for a minute.
Mid-terms are coming, Democrats are alive and well and could win. Get out the vote, get rid of RINO's and stop the Democrat party.

Reasonable (conservative) voters better not think they're going to live in a 'golden age' forever and that democrats (or whatever party the extreme left lands in) are down and out. As seen in the awful responses by flat out Antifa types in mainstream positions (especially teachers/academia, news, entertainment, politicians), there are a lot of left wingers out there. And they've been brainwashing the masses and, even further, an entire generation of upcoming voters. There's no telling what the electorate will look like in 20 years. A great example is Mamdani (and 'The Squad' and many other democrat politicians). In just 24 years after 9/11, NYC is on the verge of electing a jihad supporting communist.

I don't think the marginalization of the Democrat party is a problem, rather it is a trend that should be celebrated.

On the surface this is encouraging. But are the new 'R' registrations RINO voters or 'where the wind blows' independents? They may even vote for D candidates in open primaries or national elections.

"You Can Smell the Desperation" You can also see the desperation. Democrats may not be looking haggard and pale at this point, but I'd say panic and fear are becoming visible. Watch out for cornered rats!
