Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension was his own fault. The ABC late night host’s mean-spirited commentary disguised as comedy drove conservatives away. Kimmel was completely unconcerned with this development, but his desire to turn his show into a liberal echo chamber might prove to be his downfall because when he claimed that conservatives were desperately trying to “characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” ABC felt they had no choice but to take him off the air.
According to an aggregation of previous NewsBusters studies, 92 percent of Kimmel’s jokes since January 2023 have been about conservatives, and since September 2022, 97 percent

An American woman seeking an annulment from her foreign-born husband could end up turbocharging the government’s crackdown on marriage fraud.
For the first time in U.S. history, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) will decide if Americans can appeal previously-approved I-130 petitions based on new evidence of marriage fraud, according to legal documents exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The case — which involves a naturalized American citizen who claims her Chinese husband married her solely for a green card — could carry enormous national impact.

After Charlie Kirk’s murder, two Muslim men in Utah were arrested for planting an incendiary device under a FOX affiliate’s news van. The most striking thing about their house, as Front Page Magazine had reported, was that it appeared to be covered in anti-Trump signage.
Including a black flag reading, “Is He Dead Yet?”
“Is He Dead Yet” merchandise also made a recent appearance when a New York City public school teacher posted a photo of himself wearing that t-shirt and celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death.
In a famously sensitive era, where do you go to buy a “Is he dead yet?” t-shirt or flag? Anywhere as it turns out.

On Wednesday, FBI Director Kash Patel appeared before the House Judiciary Committee for scheduled oversight and gave details on how the FBI is working to combat online threats against Americans. As our sister site Twitchy reported, our children are the main targets of these dangerous predators and destructive online platforms. The alleged murderers of Charlie Kirk and UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson have become prime examples of where this type of radicalization leads.

It’s an account that’s a combination of horrifying and comforting.
Frank Turek, a prominent Christian apologist, writer, and close friend of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, published a podcast Tuesday describing his relationship with Kirk and the harrowing moments that followed Kirk’s shooting last week in Orem, Utah.
And he offered what might be the only good news to come out of it.
Turek was on stage at Utah Valley University when Kirk was hit.

Up until the early 2010s, the emotional appeal of being a good, loyal Democrat was twofold: It signaled to your peers how much you cared about the poor, the environment, and the disadvantaged; and — if you were white — it was “proof” you weren’t a racist.
Meanwhile, the GOP was the party of old white dudes, business tycoons, and religious weirdos. As Bill Maher put it in 2011, “[Republicans are] the squares. I’m not putting them down. You need squares to run ****.”
And more or less, that’s how the media portrayed the two parties: Republicans were the stodgy old farts in “Footloose,” and the Democrats

Second only to President Donald Trump's historic first 100 days of his second term, from a newsworthy perspective, has been the voracity with which Democrat-nominated federal district judges have attempted — unconstitutionally so — to obstruct this president at every politically driven opportunity. On Thursday, Trump took the first step of his second term to right the federal district court system.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced his nomination of Whitney Hermandorfer to serve as a judge on the Cincinnati-based Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, which hears cases from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee.

For reasons that defy logic (but are easily explained as default emotional opposition), the Democrats and the press have been yoking themselves to figures in the deportation news cycles that are consistently problematic. In the furor to automatically oppose President Trump in any activity and policy, it is a baffling reality to see the insistence that deeply flawed, violent, and illegal individuals be allowed to remain in the U.S. And it has cast the media in a position of idiocy. Note that we rarely see reports now about Mahmoud Khalil, who was initially held up as a wrongfully detained student not granted due process. His name has dissipated

Dozens of notorious Tren de Aragua gangsters have been arrested at the border after seemingly blindingly following their Google maps onto an international bridge teeming with US immigration agents.
About 40 TdA members were arrested at Ambassador Bridge which connects Detroit, Michigan to Canada - and they weren't even trying to sneak into the US or Canada.
The gangsters had simply been following their GPS which routed them on to the well-secured international crossing, where shocked agents took them into custody. Retired FBI agent Dan Brunner, who spent years tracking down migrant gang MS-13, estimates there are 3,000 to 5,000 mobsters associated with the South American syndicate in the US.

A conservative nonprofit is threatening to sue after an Atlanta-based band canceled less than 24 hours before its scheduled performance at a conservative conference Friday.
The Job Creators Network hosted its annual “Freedom Fighters Summit and Gala” in Savannah, and the band Yacht Rock Schooner signed a contract to perform. The band canceled Thursday, claiming that it agreed to perform on the premise that the event was apolitical. At the time of the cancellation, the summit had already been well underway. The band performs music from the ’70s and early ’80s for dance parties.

John Fetterman’s camera-thirsty wife has done him dirty.
New York Magazine published a hit piece on the Pennsylvania senator Friday, airing grievances from his staffers who are concerned about his mental health, his views on the Israel-Gaza War. The piece also shed light on Fetterman’s relationship with his left-wing wife, Gisele, who secretly communicated with his staff and made a political disagreement into a full-blown argument. According to the outlet, Gisele visited her husband’s senate office in November 2023, weeks after Hamas attacked Israel, and got into a heated debate about the burgeoning war and her husband’s support for the Israeli state. Gisele also went behind her husband’s back,

Tim Walz’s own daughter just gave the best evidence yet that he is completely insane.
Kate Mackz, a popular running influencer who conducts interviews with people while … running, recently visited the White House to take a tour with press secretary Karoline Leavitt. On Thursday, Walz’s daughter, Hope, weighed in on the visit with a take that contained a kernel of truth but was nonetheless delusional, hinting at her father’s failure as a … father. “Running as an act is political. And you know who taught me that? Tim Walz,” Hope told his TikTok following. “The first thing he told me when I was getting into it in high school
