Here is a suggestion: Instruct the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into Tan. It is time to establish accountability in corporate America when it comes to the People's Republic of China.
The sales were illegal under U.S. law — the university was added to the Commerce Department's Entity List in 2015 — and Cadence in late July pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit export control violations. Additionally, the company agreed to pay a fine of more than $140 million.
To establish accountability, the Justice Department must investigate Tan's role in Cadence's long series of sales to the Chinese military.

Zohran Mamdani promises to be President Donald Trump’s “worst nightmare” if he becomes mayor, but the actual victims of any such faceoff will be the people of New York City.
For starters, no mere mayor, even of America’s greatest city, has the juice to pick a fight with the federal government and hope to come out on top.
In fact, it’s a joke to think a Mayor Mamdani could even step in the ring.
Look: The city depends heavily on federal cash to help the people Mamdani claims to care the most about, namely the poor.

Perhaps the most pathetic aspect of Andrew Cuomo’s campaign for mayor are his vows to deliver for the city on things he couldn’t (or wouldn’t) in his decade-plus in the more powerful position of New York governor.
He’s suddenly calling for free bus and subway fares for lower-income New Yorkers, for example — when his heavy-handed mismanagement of the MTA led directly to the 2017 summer of hell.
Not to mention how he looted the agency’s funds for $5 million to bail out upstate ski resorts or the $100 million-plus he burned on decorative lighting and tiles on the city’s bridges and in tunnels.

Hamas is now trying to incite Arabs to revolt against their own governments under the pretext that the Arab leaders have failed to help the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Apparently, the Arab leaders understand the dangers of allowing Hamas, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization, to drag their countries into war with Israel.
That is why many Arab countries have banned or outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and recently, Jordan. These countries view the Muslim Brotherhood as a threat to national security and political stability.

The US military is preparing to activate hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, DC as a part of President Trump’s sweeping federal crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital, according to authorities.
Trump has yet to make a final decision about the activation of federal troops, but the National Guard is currently readying to deploy them, two US officials with knowledge of the operation confirmed to Reuters.
The preparation comes as 120 FBI agents from across the country have already begun patrolling DC streets overnight and backing up area cops at carjacking hot spots, despite many lacking local patrol work training, The Washington Post reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday defended a new military offensive in Gaza that’s more sweeping than previously announced, declaring in the face of growing condemnation at home and abroad that Israel “has no choice but to finish the job and complete the defeat of Hamas.”
Even as more Israelis express concern over the 22-month war, Netanyahu said the security Cabinet last week instructed the dismantling of Hamas strongholds not only in Gaza City but also in the “central camps” of Muwasi. A source familiar with the operation,

Since the day that Israeli Jews were attacked, tortured, murdered, raped and burned to death on October 7, 2023, the entire world, save for a tiny minority, has vilified, excoriated, and blamed — ta-da! — the Jews! The victims!
Why? It’s really not that hard to figure out.
We live in a world of eight billion people, the vast majority of whom have never seen or spoken to or met a Jew...a Jew whose numbers constitute a microscopic 16 million, only half of that number in Israel, another approximate seven million in America, and about another million throughout the world.

In Breaking the Law, my book on the lawfare against Donald Trump and his supporters, which was released this week, I called for Letitia “Tish” James to be prosecuted for conspiracy against rights. The Department of Justice announced on Friday that they are investigating James for violating Donald Trump’s civil rights when she engaged in what the DOJ calls the “deprivation of rights” in targeting Trump.
Outstanding.
Conspiracy against rights refers to a federal crime in the United States under 18 U.S.C. § 241, which states that it is illegal for people to “conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Saturday the planned summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that any peace deal excluding Kyiv would lead to “dead solutions.”
The Trump-Putin meeting, scheduled for Friday in Alaska, is seen as a potential breakthrough.
Trump had previously agreed to meet with Putin even if the Russian leader would not meet with Zelenskyy, stoking fears Ukraine could be sidelined in efforts to stop the continent’s biggest conflict since World War II.
In a statement posted to Telegram, Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s territorial integrity, enshrined in the constitution, must be non-negotiable and emphasized that lasting peace must include Ukraine’s voice at the table.

The Trump administration’s launch of a grand jury probe into Obama-era officials marks an escalation in its use of the justice system to go after political adversaries, amid mounting pressure to release files related to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
It’s the first sign the Justice Department is acting on criminal referrals made by Trump intelligence officials, after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard accused officials of a “treasonous conspiracy” related to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

California and New York are signaling they will move forward with plans to redraw congressional lines as Democrats look to counter the Texas GOP.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) said Monday that Democrats are pursuing a plan to put mid-decade redistricting before voters, which could be “triggered” by what happens in Texas. And New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), appearing alongside Texas Democrats who fled to her state over the proposed maps Monday, embraced exploring “every option” to redraw congressional lines.

On Tuesday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” host and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow talked about connections between lawfare and Russiagate. Marlow stated, “The lawfare against Trump would not have been possible if there was accountability for Russigate, if Clapper and Brennan and Comey hadn’t gotten book deals and cable news contributorships but had, instead, gotten handcuffs and perp walks for what they did, there would not have been any of this lawfare.”
