The problem with their narrative: Team Trump did in fact alert Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and attempt to give the heads-up to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY)—but Hakeem was too busy doing who knows what to answer his phone.
