A security guard shot and killed an active shooter around 11 a.m. Sunday at a suburban Detroit church after a member ran the shooter over in a Ford F-150 truck, according to the church and police. CrossPointe Community Church Senior Pastor Bobby Kelly Jr. said a deacon ran the shooter over, giving a security guard time to shoot the armed attacker outside the church, located at 36125 Glenwood Road in the city of Wayne. "He was run over by one of our members who saw this happening when he was coming into church," Kelly said.

I wonder if this was a 'guest' invited into our country and if his mental illness was due to a religious tenet from a holy text saying that this type of attack is in line with their dogma.

Missions in Haiti runs a school for 450 children, as well as two churches and a children’s home in the Bon Repos neighborhood in the northern outskirts of Port-au-Prince, which is widely known to be controlled by two local gangs. The independent nonprofit was founded by an Oklahoma couple, David and Alicia Lloyd, in 2000.

Jasmine Crockett Fumes That Trump Didn’t
'Holla' for Her Permission Before Hitting Iran

Jasmine Crockett’s latest tone-deaf outrage proves once again that some Democrats care more about political posturing than national security. Instead of applauding President Donald Trump’s decisive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, a move that will protect American lives and interests, Crockett is mad that Trump didn’t “holla” at her first to ask for permission. Just hours after President Trump accomplished what no other leader dared—crippling Iran’s nuclear program—Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) took to social media in a tirade, fuming that the president didn’t ask for her “permission” to carry out the strike. She failed to acknowledge that the mission was deliberately kept under tight wraps, known only to a select group

After days of publicly mulling whether to join Israel in its military campaign against Iran, President Trump directed the U.S. military on Saturday to execute a complex attack on three of the nation’s nuclear sites with several American warplanes and submarines. Hours later, Mr. Trump declared the mission a “spectacular military success,” saying during a national address from the White House that U.S. forces had “completely and totally obliterated,” Iran’s nuclear program. “There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close,” he said, standing in front of Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Iran’s parliament has voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, the vital shipping channel through which around 20% of the world’s daily oil flows. The move, which could block $1 billion in oil shipments per day, is likely to send oil prices soaring. It will come into effect pending a final decision by Iran’s Supreme Council. The Supreme Council’s decision must be made by tonight, according to Iran’s state-run Press TV. Iran’s major escalation in response to US strikes on its nuclear facilities “will be done whenever necessary,” Email Kosari, Commander in the Revolutionary Guards, said on Sunday.

On Sunday morning Russia's former president and current deputy chairman of the country's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev issued his reaction to the major US overnight strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, giving what's essentially the view of where things stand from the Kremlin. Medvedev in a ten-point list of reactions characterized the attacks as ultimately ineffective, and that it will blow back on America and Israel in a way opposite than intended, especially as Tehran will now only push harder for a nuke, and allied countries might now simply be willing to supply them to the Iranians, he described.

President Trump caught the world off-guard Saturday by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites — after his apparently strategic deception indicating that such strikes weren’t imminent and trickery with the deployment of US Air Force B-2 bombers. Trump said Thursday he would make a decision in the “next two weeks” to allow more time for negotiations, giving the sense of reprieve amid fevered speculation he might join Israel’s airstrikes. “Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,”

In a precautionary move, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz placed all state authorities on heightened alert in the event that Iran retaliates following the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday night. "Following the President’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in Iran, I’ve directed our public safety teams to be on heightened alert for potential threats to Minnesota," Walz announced. "While there’s no known threats at this time, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly." Homeland Security issued a bulletin through the National Terrorism Advisory System on Sunday, saying the conflict in Iran "is causing a heightened

The LA County Sheriff’s Department has deleted a social media post calling the US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities “tragic” after being dragged online. “Our hearts go out to the victims and families impacted by the recent bombings in Iran,” the department wrote on X Sunday in a now-deleted post. “While this tragic event happened overseas, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is closely monitoring the situation alongside our local, state and federal partners.” The post sparked immediate outrage and was allegedly updated to exclude the part sending condolences to “the victims and families” and calling the US military airstrikes “tragic.”
Trump just took back what Obama gave Iran 18 replies

It’s very early in the Iran nuclear story, but one thing is certain: What Barack Obama gave to Iran—millions and millions of dollars in cash on wooden pallets to make The Bomb—Trump just took back. Obama had no problems with Iran developing a nuclear weapon. The money he gave the Mullahs was to go toward that end. Islamophilic Obama thought that the country that vowed “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” had every right to have nuclear weapons with which to carry out those threats. Iran had been threatening to vaporize all of us with nukes for years. Obama apparently thought, “Why not?” and sent them

Democrats in Washington are again talking impeachment. Politicians and pundits are expressing outrage over President Donald Trump attacking Iran without a prior authorization of Congress. It is the Claude Rains School of Constitutional Law where politicians are "shocked, shocked" that Trump is using the authority that they accepted in Democratic predecessors. Fourteen years ago this week, I was in court litigating that very issue when President Barack Obama attacked Libya. Most Democrats supported or were silent on the action.

Pakistan condemned U.S. President Donald Trump for bombing Iran, less than 24 hours after saying he deserved a Nobel Peace Prize for defusing a recent crisis with India. Relations between the two South Asian countries plummeted after a massacre of tourists in Indian-controlled Kashmir in April. The nuclear-armed rivals stepped closer to war in the weeks that followed, attacking each other until intense diplomatic efforts, led by the U.S., resulted in a truce for which Trump took credit. It was this “decisive diplomatic intervention and pivotal leadership”

Iran’s state media said more than 30 ballistic missiles had been fired as sirens rang across parts of Israel, while explosions were heard in Jerusalem. The Israeli Army said it was working to intercept missiles from Iran. Israel had closed its airspace after the US strikes on Iran.
