New York Democrats are reportedly trying to inflate the city’s share of seats in Congress and of federal funding by keeping illegal aliens in the federal 2030 census.
The New York Times reported Thursday that “a coalition of elected officials, community activists, and labor and civic leaders in New York City” is planning ahead for the 2030 census, as Republicans push to have noncitizens excluded from congressional districting counts.
New York Democrats fear they will lose at least two of their 26 seats in the House, according to the Times:

A little over two years ago, the small town of East Palestine, Ohio, suffered one of the worst environmental disasters in recent history when a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed, spilling hazardous chemicals. Like most things that occurred during the Biden administration, a proper cleanup and investigation into exactly how the derailment happened and why were way over the administration's head. Now, however, there may finally be some substantive help on the way for a community that has never quite been the same since the accident, and with the right people in charge, they will get the answers they deserve.

There’s a saying, “I won’t dignify that with a response.” Much of what Ilhan Omar says qualifies; however, it is requisite on U.S. patriots to address her putdown of the U.S. turning into “one of the worst countries.”
It’s tempting to be vindictive toward such preposterous ingratitude, but that’s up to her voters (more on her district in a moment). But there’s some schadenfreude to relish: she’s very unhappy, and is not even a friend to herself. In fact, her warped thinking induces such negative emotions that she feels comfortable being mired in the squalid SQUAD — misery loves company.
It would be preferable if she returned to Somalia,

Internal FBI emails reveal that rogue agents and prosecutors in the Biden DOJ were looking for ways to pile on new criminal charges against Donald Trump over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot — this time over his involvement with the J6 prisoner choir, based on a single partisan news article.
The 2023 emails obtained by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and revealed exclusively to The Post are an example of the nitpicking malice of anti-Trump lawfare that tainted special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation, during Joe Biden’s presidency.
“Can we do some work to nail down Trump’s role in this,”

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass compared the impact of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids to the coronavirus lockdowns that her party imposed on California, in that both kept people at home.
Bass made the comparison over the weekend in visits to small businesses in a neighborhood that, the Los Angeles Times, depended on the “immigrant” economy (the Times never used the word “illegal).
The Times reported: Bass visited a number of small businesses in Boyle Heights with Assemblymember Mark Gonzalez (D-Los Angeles), including Casa Fina, Distrito Catorce, Yeya’s and Birrieria De Don Boni, as well as the Estrada Courts public housing project,

A maniac barged into a Lower Manhattan courthouse and slashed two officers in the neck and face in a shocking attack Monday morning, law enforcement sources said.
Jonathan Wohl, 37, of Queens, ran into the lobby of Manhattan Criminal Court at 100 Centre Street around 9:30 a.m. and suddenly ambushed the officers, according to the sources.
He cut one of the officers twice on his face and sliced the other on the neck – before shoving a third into a barrier in the main lobby, the sources said.
Wohl was then taken into custody on the fourth floor of the courthouse.

They got him last night. Vance Boelter, 57, was apprehended after a two-day manhunt in Minnesota. Boelter is accused of impersonating a police officer to shoot two state lawmakers, State Rep. Melissa Hortman and State Sen. John Hoffman. Their respective spouses were also shot. Hoffman and his wife survived, but Hortman and her husband were killed. It was described as a targeted attack.
Boelter abandoned his fake police car after exchanging gunfire with police over the weekend. Inside the vehicle police found “No Kings” flyers and a manifesto, along an extended kill list. Its contents were not revealed until now. There are at least 60 names on the list,

The Dem Minnesota state lawmaker who was assassinated by a crazed gunman in a rubber mask crossed party lines just days earlier and made a critical vote revoking health care coverage for illegal migrants.
Melissa Hortman, the state House Democratic leader, was the only member of her party to side with Republicans and vote to repeal taxpayer-funded healthcare coverage for adult illegal immigrants as part of this year’s budget bill.
She and her husband were gunned down on Saturday in Brooklyn Park just outside of Minneapolis, shortly after the same assassin is believed to have gravely wounded Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

An apparent explosion sent flames shooting into the air in Las Vegas early Saturday, as palm trees were set ablaze and a witness claimed they saw a car leaving the scene.
Video showed fire erupting outside the Aria Casino as one witness described the incident as a “big explosion,” footage posted to X showed.
“We just heard what sounded like a bomb, right in front of the aria,” the witness said in one clip, calling it “a huge fire.”
Another witness called the incident “crazy.”
“We just had an explosion go off right now in front of Planet Hollywood,”

I'm sure you've noticed that the world's most annoying climate doomster, Greta Thunberg, has swapped her acid-rain coat and melting glacier galoshes for a stylish keffiyeh and a Gaza-riffic t-shirt.
I'm guessing Thunberg finally fixed the climate and needed a new direction in her life. Today, hating Jews is more en vogue with the leftoids than slapping a dress onto their 10-year-old vegan son.
Who can forget the hilarity of Thunberg's transformation from greenhouse gas hack to Judeophobe? As I predicted on my daily radio show, Thunberg's latest desperate attempt for attention may be her Waterloo.

A social media account has been slapped down for spreading fake news about Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and it came from an unlikely source: The Los Angeles Times. An account called ‘heymrhowie’ posted a harrowing tale of an ICE raid that occurred at an elementary school graduation. It’s fodder that would be outright believed and digested by the Left. No doubt, some did, but it’s fake. The Los Angeles Times did a lengthy fact-check on the current anti-ICE riots in the city; they shockingly included this portion, which exposed the video as fake news:

They shouldn’t have trouble making bail.
Cops cuffed 86 demonstrators at a rowdy anti-ICE rally in Lower Manhattan Tuesday, among them the daughter of a Moroccan actor, a self-proclaimed poet from an upscale college and a coed whose family owns a posh home in the Hamptons, The Post has learned.
“My sense is, the vast majority of the 2,500 people that were there, were there to protest peacefully,” NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said on Fox 5 News. “There was a smaller group of a few hundred where we did have to make arrests. Some of them were looking for trouble.”
