During his time on Capitol Hill, Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., has garnered a reputation for helping Democrats advance their preferred narratives and policies. So, it wasn’t exactly shocking when the Tarheel State’s senior senator gifted his leftist colleagues a talking point to defend the childish antics of Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif.

Democrats lost their minds over an apparent slip-up by Vice President JD Vance, who during his Friday visit to Los Angeles, referred to Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) as “Jose Padilla” in remarks to reporters.
While he was discussing the anti-ICE riots, the vice president referred to Padilla’s stunt of showing up at DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s press conference in LA and “lunging” at her in a deranged manner, a move that ended up with him being forcibly removed from the room and handcuffed just like any non-senator would be if they acted the same way.
