President Donald Trump delivered his most explicit signals yet that his administration is actively pursuing diplomatic channels with Iran, even as he maintains the threat of military action against the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. Speaking to reporters at Morristown Airport in New Jersey, Trump revealed that his administration has been in direct communication with Iranian officials and expressed cautious optimism about potential negotiations. We are ready and willing and able and have been speaking to Iran, and we will see what happens," Trump stated when asked about Iran's conditions for negotiations.

With each new day, I look to see the report that Trump has dropped the big one on Iran's nuclear development in the mountain. Any agreement with the duplicitous, lying Iranian mullahs would only give them more time to regroup and continue the manufacture of nuclear weapons aimed at the United States. ENOUGH.

The only "breakthrough" should be that bomb taking out that nuclear site! The Iranians can't be trusted, they have been calling for death to Israel and America for decades. Time to get rid of the threat, which is fast becoming a reality if they get more time.

ANY solution that leaves the Mullahs in power or even alive is a failure. As Mrs. Thatcher used to say “Don’t go wobbly now”.

Iran is nearing its death throes because of the bombing by Israel and elimination of its top leaders. Perhaps Khomeini knows he is getting close to obtaining his 72 virgins and wants to deal but he is just trying to delay to pull his usual tricks. Probably not really him but he may be getting in Shamblin' Joe's condition and others are making the calls now. I think Trump knows this. Don't bet against a moonlight visit from the B2s in the next few days.

There is no one in Iran to negotiate with. The mullahs will only rebuild, rearm Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and continue with their nuclear ambitions. It is time to finish the job. We have had 50 years of backing off, when we are winning, and it has never worked.

I’m rethinking ALL the news. Between the disagreement with DNI Gabbard, and other news re Iran, methinks we (and the world) may be being played. There is NO WAY on God’s green earth that PDJT is going to telegraph the real discussions and his potential decisions. The stakes are too high. This is a pivotal time in world history and no way is it going to be played out for us goobers to scrutinize and opine about. I’ll wait for the last chapter to be written.

Iran likes to jerk people's chain. They always play games and are dishonest at heart. While Israel is using up its anti-missile/drone ordinance Iran as been sitting on their largest and newest ballistic missile that can carry nearly two tons of of explosives as a single bomb or release up to 80 bombs, and since they look forward to unleashing that they are not interested in a peace deal.

I think Trump knows that Iran is a bully, and most bullies run home to mama when someone gives them a bloody nose. Iran' military knows that it would last five minutes against an American backed Israel. Iran's military holds the key to peace - they will either get rid of the religious leaders or take the path of Allah and their promised virgins. We shall see.

Shortly after sunrise, Iran launched a barrage of 20-30 missiles in three waves, according to Israel’s Army Radio. Sirens were sounded in the north, and then throughout the entire country. Most of the missiles were intercepted by Israel’s air defenses; the missile that hit the port city of Haifa, where Arabs and Jews live side-by-side, was the only one that caused injuries on the ground. It turns out that one of the damaged buildings was the Al-Jreena Mosque, one of the most important Muslim houses of worship in the city. Muslim clerics, or imams, were in the mosque, presumably ahead of weekly juma’ah services held on Fridays.

President Trump tore into the US intelligence community on Friday for having been “wrong” about how close Iran was to acquiring a nuclear weapon months ago, telling reporters that he now believes Tehran has a “tremendous amount” of enriched uranium that could build a bomb in just a few weeks. Trump made the assessment after breaking from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s testimony before Congress in March that Iran was not building nuclear weapons. “What intelligence do you have that Iran is building a weapon? Your intelligence community said they have no evidence that they are at this point,” the reporter asked Trump on the tarmac outside of Bedminster, New Jersey.

Back in 2007 I received a mysterious call at the New York Sun from a man who said he was referred to me from someone at the New York Times. He said he needed to meet with me on an issue too important to speak about on the phone. The Times reporter had told him that her paper was not the one to cover the story. Cloak and dagger are not my forte and seemingly against my better judgment, I met with the gentleman who turned out to be an Iranian dissident. He filled me in on what was happening in his native country.

Israeli warplanes pounded Iran’s capital overnight and into Wednesday as Iran launched a small barrage of missiles at Israel with no reports of casualties. An Iranian official warned Wednesday that that any U.S. intervention in the conflict would risk “all-out war.” Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei delivered the warning in an interview with Al Jazeera English, saying “any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region.” He did not elaborate, but thousands of American troops are based in nearby countries within range of Iran’s weapons. The U.S. has threatened a massive response to any attack.

One of the most under-reported stories of the past 24 hours may well be the fact that we actually do know how President Trump's base feels about Israel and Iran, despite attempts by some in the legacy media—not to mention click-servative ne'er-do-wells on X who are mired in engagement farming—to portray MAGA as being fractured over the matter. A lot has been made in recent days, particularly on X, over what some have perceived as a schism forming amongst Trump's base, with, in basic terms, the "America first" side favoring diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict while the more pragmatic wing seemed to be open to the U.S.

The death toll grew Sunday as Israel and Iran exchanged missile attacks for a third consecutive day, with Israel warning that worse is to come. Israel targeted Iran’s Defense Ministry headquarters in Tehran and sites it alleged were associated with Iran’s nuclear program, while Iranian missiles evaded Israeli air defenses and slammed into buildings deep inside Israel. In Israel, at least 10 people were killed in Iranian strikes overnight and into Sunday, according to Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service, bringing the country’s total death toll to 13. The country’s main international airport and airspace remained closed for a third day.

The ANC's National Democratic Revolution strategy compels dominating the Judiciary; it reads: "judicial independence to be undermined, in part by vesting most appointments to the bench in an ANC-dominated Judicial Service Commission." It was therefore not unexpected that the Constitutional Court might rule in support of the slogan, "Kill the Boer". Sadly, what Ramaphosa actually intends, despite his grand terminology, is that there will be a redistribution of wealth and asset ownership in the form of either expropriation without compensation and/or a mandatory transfer of equity in businesses held by minorities to the black majority.

The Supreme Court’s recent decision to uphold Tennessee’s law prohibiting so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors was a victory for common sense, but has sent the left into a tailspin. In her typical fashion, Warren took to social media to decry the ruling, claiming, “Trans kids suffer when they don’t get medically necessary care. In a fearless and practical move to shore up immigration enforcement, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has pitched a novel concept to the Trump administration: a 39‑square‑mile detention site in the Everglades, slyly dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.” Situated on the abandoned Dade‑Collier airport—as part of the Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area—this remote facility would capitalize on Florida’s natural defenses. ICE currently holds around 53,000 migrants in facilities funded for just 41,500 beds, according to WLRN. This “Alligator Alcatraz” could house up to 1,000 criminal illegal entrants, built in as little as 30–60 days — a swift addition to national security infrastructure.
