One of the most bizarre sporting events of all time has finally arrived.
Mike Tyson, the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion once dubbed “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, 27, are squaring off in a professional boxing match tonight at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the fight streaming on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET.
The fight was originally supposed to take place on July 20, but it was postponed after Tyson had an ulcer flare-up and began throwing up blood.

Rudy Giuliani surrendered his vintage Mercedes Benz, dozens of watches and other lavish possessions to the two Georgia election workers he defamed following the 2020 presidential election – in what his rep decried as a “bastardization” of the justice system.
The 80-year-old disbarred lawyer and former New York City mayor relinquished 26 watches, a ring, cash, and a blue 1980 Mercedes convertible once owned by Hollywood icon Lauren Bacall, to the two women who won the $148 million defamation judgment, according to his lawyer.
Giuliani, once fondly known as “America’s Mayor,” was given until Nov. 14 to fork over his assets after missing an Oct. 29 deadline.

Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said Friday on CNN’s “The Lead” that she hopes President-elect Donald Trump reconsiders replacing FBI director Christopher Wray, whom he previously appointed in 2017, with Kash Patel.
Host Jake Tapper said, “So Trump is also reportedly considering Kash Patel as FBI director. Patel worked in the Defense Department during Trump’s first term. He’s promised in the past to essentially go after Trump’s enemies, and including people in the media. He has not been formally nominated, but it is definitely true that Trump is considering making him FBI director. Do you have a take on him?”

It’s a nice gesture, but a) the cat is out of the bag on the allegations against former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and b) someone will leak it. We should expect something to that effect to drop soon. The Hill is awash with enemies of Donald Trump and Mr. Gaetz. The horse has left the barn; all that remains is what has been printed. Regardless, House Speaker Mike Johnson, who will remain at his post since Republicans retained control of the House, has asked the Ethics Committee to quash their report on their investigation into the Florida Republican, who Trump nominated to serve as our next attorney general (via Axios):

CNN anchor Chris Wallace was the first network star given the boot as the channel faces a staffing bloodbath in the face of cratering ratings.
Puck News reported that Wallace, who was paid $7 million a year, was told his two shows on the network were being axed by CEO Mark Thompson.
He was told he could stay on in a greatly-reduced role as an analyst on a far smaller salary, but decided not to, according to journalist Dylan Byers. Wallace, a former Fox News star, ended up quitting and insisted his decision was entirely his own.
He now claims to be pursuing a career in 'streaming or podcasting,'

Vice President-Elect Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) slammed the Associated Press on Friday for a hit piece against President-Elect Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, that dubbed him an alleged “Insider Threat” over his Christianity-themed tattoos. The best selling author and Fox News host Hegseth, 44, is a nearly 20-year Army National Guard officer who fought in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, rising to the rank of Major while earning two Bronze Stars. Vance, 40, is a Marine veteran of the Iraq war.

The House Judiciary Committee is warning the Biden-Harris Administration to keep its records as it launches a series of investigations into the weaponization of government agencies.Led by Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), the committee sent letters containing ominous warnings to officials in the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), informing them they will soon see their day in court.
The letters accused each agency of being inconsistent with its statutory authority and demanded a list of transparency demands before President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

The billionaire owner of the Los Angeles Times said his paper has “conflated news and opinion” and doubled down on his promise to bring in more conservative voices to balance the left-leaning publication.
Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong — who sparked an internal revolt over his decision to kill the paper’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris — said the planned overhaul would take the Times in a direction where “both sides” will be “heard” and “represented.”
“If it’s news, it should just be the facts, period. And if it’s an opinion, that’s maybe an opinion of the news, and that’s what I call now a voice,” Soon-Shiong said during an interview

President-elect Donald Trump’s so-called Trump Romp to the iconic “YMCA” tune is the latest Trump-inspired phenomenon in pop culture.
World leaders, athletes, and regular citizens have been captured using the Trump Romp since his landslide victory last week. The dance moves feature something like a double horizontal fist pump with hip swings to the beat of the Y.M.C.A. “The funniest thing is that YMCA already had a dance … but Trump has rebranded it so successfully that world leaders have now adopted it,” Kiersten Pels, an aide to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), pointed out on X.

President-elect Donald Trump, as Matt covered, announced at an event on Thursday night that he was selecting Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) to serve as his Secretary of Interior, prompting a strong reaction from the DNC. Unfortunately for the DNC, Trump also announced on Friday that Burgum will serve as the chairman of the National Energy Council. As Trump's statement shared about Burgum:
I am thrilled to announce that Doug Burgum, the Governor of North Dakota, will be joining my Administration as both Secretary of the Interior and, as Chairman of the newly formed, and very important, National Energy Council, which will consist of all Departments and Agencies

The Colorado GOP has released an audio that reveals Secretary of State Jena Griswold and her team deliberately concealed the exposure of sensitive voting machine passwords to avoid a media firestorm.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Griswold’s office inadvertently published approximately 600 BIOS passwords for election equipment across 63 of Colorado’s 64 counties, according to the Colorado GOP affidavit.
This alarming breach, which first came to light in August, is believed to have occurred as early as June—right before the state’s primary election. Surprisingly, these sensitive passwords remained accessible on her website until late October.
