An ad that encourages women to lie to their husbands about supporting Kamala Harris is getting blasted on social media.
The ad supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, which was released by Vote Common Good, was voiced by actress Julia Roberts. “In the one place in America where women still have the right to choose, you can vote any way you want,” Roberts says. “And no one will ever know.”
In the ad, a woman wearing a bedazzled American flag hat votes for Harris. When she leaves the voting booth, her husband asks if she made the “right choice.”

Now I understand why she didn't get an award for Pretty Woman. The role wasn't a stretch from her true character

The one place where women have the right to choose? As far as I know not a single state has banned abortion completely. And if a woman waits too long to make her “choice” in her state, she can always go to a neighboring state and probably get some leftist group to pay her expenses. Or, they could make the choice to say no to casual sex.
Oops. Forget that last one. For leftist women, that will never happen.

My wife and I have been married for almost 40 years now. If I have any secrets, I have to ask her what they are.
My wife is even more conservative than I am and would not hesitate to tell me that I am an idiot if I even considered voting for Harris (and would probably call my doctor to have me checked for Alzheimer's). I thank God every day that I chose wisely and that somehow she settled for me.

Julia, meet Abigail Adams. She had a mind of her own, loved America, and would never have voted for someone who has spit on the Constitution the way Kamrade Harris has. Women have been patriots who think for themselves since the beginning. So, shut up and act.

Now why would I listen to Julia Roberts when God tells me in His commandments "Thou Shall Not Lie?" Some of these celebrities think too highly of themselves. By the way, Julia Roberts, given that there was no primary for Kamala Harris, I think her campaign is a big lie. . .

Not just women, but most men find the ad completely insulting, but men aren't allowed to voice their opinions because it would be sexist, mansplaining, and massagists to hear any of those opinions.

An additional comment. I came across this expression/saying a while back: "The average girl would rather have beauty than brains because she knows the average man can see much better than he thinks."
Now do I agree with that assessment? No. It belittles men because I know there are women out there that qualify for this, as well. If I were to re-work it, it would be: "The average person would rather have looks than brains because they know the average person can see much better than they think.
So, Julia, it would seem with that kind of statement, your preference is beauty over brains. . .

I thought the ad was insulting to both men and women. I was married almost 50 years and I never spent one moment afraid of my husband. He never attempted to "control" me, or force me to do anything. Perhaps Kamala thinks differently because her husband apparently had no problem belting his girlfriend in the face in a public place? A guy whose go to move is to hit a woman is the TOXIC male they keep talking about.

I don't tell my husband whom to vote for and vice versa. This is not that hard. And I sure don't vote for anyone because they fit into some preconceived box they want to cram me into. I hate stupid. This is stupid.

Final message from the Harris campaign to traditional conservative women-
"Not only are you garbage, you are bondservants to deplorable men who will control you by any means possible. Have a nice day, and vote for Kamala!"

Ironic, seeing how Harris supporters want you canceled, publicly shamed, fired and disowned by your family for voting for Trump. Trump supporters are the ones who need to protect themselves, not women who vote for Harris.

The first gift my husband ever gave me was a giant poster of Ronald Reagan in 1980. He knew I had been to see RR at a campaign stop in Houston. I remember that Roger Staubach got louder cheers than any of the politicians. I also remember that there was a balloon drop and everyone started popping the balloons. I wondered how the Secret Service would ever be able to distinguish gunfire sounds in the midst of all that popping sound. I recalled that moment when RR was shot after he became president.
Point is. I doubt I would have married him if he had not been a conservative. At that time, I only knew one male veteran who voted Democrat and he grew up in the northeast, not Texas. I have a lot of single lady friends who will vote for Trump - no husband required to tell her how to vote.

# 2 - not every woman wanting an abortion is into casual sex. Therein lies the problem. A lack of understanding about lives some women lead.

This is insulting to me and to my husband. It also implies we women are just sitting around waiting for her or some celebrity to give us permission to vote.

I think the opposite is more likely. People are secretly voting for Donald Trump because they're afraid that they'll be bullied if they say it out loud.
For many years I was more politically aware than my husband and I would encourage him to pay more attention. It would bother me that he used to always ask me who he should vote for. Now that he's retired, he pays more attention and is much more opinionated and vocal. He's probably more conservative than I am, so neither of us has any influence on the other about who to vote for.

A Hollywood director was once quoted as saying that the two most difficult directorial challenges were making Mira Sorvino come off as dumb, and Julia Roberts come off as intelligent.

I was more conservative than my husband when we first met, then married, mainly because his mother was liberal and my family was totally conservative. He changed pretty quickly and was the one who found Rush Limbaugh on the radio before I did. This ad was so disgusting and stupid, I would think that even liberals would not like it. The left doesn't get the message yet that most of us are tired of being lectured to and insulted. I smell desperation, and I hope the left's rear ends are handed to them on Election Day.

When it comes to Julia Roberts, Im always reminded of that line from Caddyshack:
"Last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it."
Just another stupid ack!tress projecting her boyfriend issues onto the rest of us.

In their latest desperation move, the Harris campaign lets it be known that any woman who votes for Trump must be a Stepford wife totally dominated by a controlling and abusive man. The Handmaid's Tale in real life. Get it?
