Did Ryan Routh have inside info on Trump’s
movements? Ex-FBI official calls possibility ‘scary’

The alleged would-be assassin arrested for targeting Donald Trump while he golfed in Florida may have been given inside information about the former president’s schedule, according to an ex-FBI official who called the possibility “scary.” Chris Swecker, a retired FBI assistant director, told Newsweek that the feds and other law enforcement will be probing how the suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, allegedly appeared to know Trump would be at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Sunday. “The biggest question to answer is: ‘How did the would-be assassin know to be at that location at that time?'” said Swecker, who worked on FBI criminal investigations.

Note well that the same question can be asked about Thomas Crooks, who had scouted the venue in Bedford, PA before the rally was ever publicly announced. Someone was setting these guys up.

And speaking of Crooks, #1, he and Routh have both appeared in advertisements for BlackRock. Vince Langman on X: "Ryan Wesley Routh was in a BlackRock commercial, just like Thomas Matthew Crooks. I'm not sure he had inside knowledge. You wait outside Maralago waiting for a line of limos and SUVs with lights flashing and follow them to the golf course. Trump heads to the clubhouse/locker room to get his clubs and get started on the course. He had already finished 5 holes before the USSS found the guy. He probably had close to an hour to set everything up.

Unlike the rally which had been promoted probably for quite some time, the fact that Crooks was scouting out the area prior is really no surprise. The golf outing was a spur of the moment decision. I suspect from the interviews with people who knew Routh, the news that Trump was in the area wasn't really a secret and he was just hanging around looking for a place to spot him. People who knew Routh universally called him a nutjob. I suspect Routh simply stumbled upon the location simply out of sheer luck from his point of view. Anytime a high-profile public figure such as a political figure is out, it's not too difficult to know where that person is. Simply follow the line of police cars and black SUV's. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the correct one. Not everything is a conspiracy.

Maybe the guy(s) who "spotted" the shooter should be looked at. Imagine you want to be a hero... you tell this guy to go to the golf course to shoot Trump, then you "spot him" and shoot at him. Maybe you're thinking of killing him, maybe you intentionally miss. Either way, you're the hero. Its a weak theory, but you hear about stuff like this with fireman arsonists etc.

If true (it appears to be so), looks like someone is leaking the president's whereabouts practically in real time and that information is being placed out on the internet somewhere. Law enforcement should be able to track this down. #4, not only the rifle, but was he voting. Thought felons could not vote.

Look at a map. Trump was at hole 5, Routh was at the fence at hole 6. The media has been reporting distances of around "400 yards". Google Earth has it as about 800 to 900 feet (300 yards or less), and it was not a clear path. That's why he did not shoot, and why the Secret Service was able to spot him as Trump played his rounds. Routh was waiting for Trump to come to him. Routh built a nest. They didn't spot him until the Secret Service surveilled the upcoming hole.

Then pull some from Carter, Bush, Clinton and Obama...liberals aren't going to go after them...or cutback on how many family members get coverage...how many are marching around covering the Obama girls, or HIllarys darling daughter husband and kids??? I;d love to see some stats on how many agents cover each family....would be interesting...

You don't have to go to the alphabets, deep state or staff for this. Who earns a living following the activities public figures? The media does. Routh is extremely media savvy. He's been everywhere in the major media. His media photos are easy to find, he's featured in the NY Times, he's photographed in the Ukraine, he chats with members of Congress. He knows people and people know him. He has contacts. People talk and "chat." Start there. And for starters ask Comcast --> NBCUniversal --> MSNBC if their agents, servants, or employees have talked to this guy recently.

Pardon second post. Routh was a resident of Hawaii. How long had he been in Florida. If anyone checked Routh's whereabouts, would they discover he had been following Trump around (like Pennsylvania). Another aspect of this. Has the Trump campaign been hacked, and some unknown person is privy to all of Trump's movements. Who all did Trump discuss this golf outing with and who did those people talk to?

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz did not have a good night against Sen. JD Vance (R-OH). The vice presidential debate on CBS News wasn’t a disqualifying performance by Walz, but Democrats cannot be happy. It started rough, and it was like that for the Minnesota liberal for most of the night. He was able to find his footing, though toward the debate’s end, where he made a rash of odd remarks, like being a school shooter’s best friend, the female gender being a preexisting condition, and a baffling and shambolic response

Tuesday was the official beginning of National Day, a Chinese holiday marking the anniversary of Communist Party rule. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the takeover, but the celebrations seemed muted as the week-long holiday got underway, as China faces economic stumbles, security woes, supply chain disruptions, a massive demographic crisis, and a growing sense of anger and futility among its young people. The Associated Press noted that no festivities at all were announced on Tuesday, except for a ceremonial flag-raising at Tiananmen Square, which was a symbolic center of ancient Chinese imperial power before it became infamous for a horrifying Communist massacre in 1989.
