Despite his grandson saying he was 'limited' as he turned 100, Jimmy Carter spent his birthday in the sunshine enjoying a military flyover at his Georgia home. Carter - the first American president to reach the century mark - was able to watch a flyover of four F-18 jets and several vintage planes that graced the skies over Plains, Georgia as part of the town's celebrations, per CBS News.

Not many people make it to 90 years old let alone 100. But I would venture to say that Jimmah receives a very high level of medical care that none of us would ever have access to or could afford. How else can one survive for two years in a hospice.

#3, I’ll do it for you. He is a nasty old anti-Semite whose idiocy in office we are still paying for 44 years later. All of the terrorist attacks in the last 4 decades can be laid right at his feet. Imagine what the world might be like right now if he had supported the Shah instead of the ayotollas.

One wonders the depth of malaise those pilots felt doing this.

If this flyover was meant to authentically commemorate his presidency one of the planes would have flown on to a desert and crashed.

It depends OP. One of our aunts lived to 102 and died in her sleep. She was sharp and moving even without a cane until the end. Her sister is 98, drives a Dodge Charger, picks up a friend to go to church and takes care of her great grand children after school.

Until Biden came along, extending the Obamanations destruction of America, Jimmy Carter was arguably the WORST president who ever held that office in the USA since the turn of the century. He's a bigot, an Antisemite, and a stubborn incompetent fool.
I'm glad we had an America after his bone-headed Ness.

Shouldn't the attention gone toward those in need from the hurricane? I thought they needed help?

Too bad Jimmuh couldn't be wheeled out to watch hundreds of Iranian rockets launched into Israel.
Jimmuh stabbed our strong ally - - the Shah - - in the back - - and made it possible for the vicious mullahs to take over Iran - - and terrorize the world. Try showing Jimmuh THAT aerial display.

I wonder if he even saw the planes, and as someone has already mentioned, how does one be in hospice for two years? Everyone I knew who entered hospice didn't even last two weeks.

They can fly jets over Jimmah, but they have no helicopters to deliver food and water to suffering Appalachia.

This is tragic. His grandson said he prayed to stay alive so he could vote for Harris/Walz. A man who was greatly honored to be a US President can hardly wait to support a pro-baby killing, unqualified, low intellect Marxist woman to lead this country. Worse yet he claims to be a devoted Christian. This is tragic and I see nothing to celebrate.

Biden and Harris are hoping he dies before Election Day as they think that would give them a boost.

I remember what it was like serving in the Marines under Carter. Our 782 gear ( pistol belts, etc) was so worn out that we mended it with comm wire. That all changed when Reagan came in.

When you really thing about it, it is kind of disrespectful to show Carter to the world in his age related infirm and unstable condition.

Addendum to #15. I forgot to add another aspect of Jimmy Carter - an anti-Israel President under whose leadership we suffered tremendously just for that!

if he were the great man he thinks he is, he wouldn't have made this about mememeeee.
he'd ask for a flyover to deliver supplies to the ppl stranded on rooftops, drowning, injured,
destitute, needing rescue and transport.
they're not thinking about jimmuh 's birthday party.

I never liked this man; he was a horrible president. That being said, I felt it was disrespectful to display him in that manner.

A good man, but a lousy president. Too naive in the ways of the world.
Gave away the Panama Canal and got rid of the Shah, which opened the door for Islamic terrorism.
