The Republican National Committee unanimously voted on Holocaust Remembrance Day to pass a resolution condemning anti-Semitism. This resolution provides strong evidence of the Party and its leader, Donald J. Trump’s stance towards Jews. Nevertheless, if the Party leaders expect a positive response from the Jewish community in November, they may be disappointed.
For years, Donald Trump has been tirelessly trying to gain support from American Jews. In the current campaign, he is emphasizing his unparalleled support for Israel and highlighting the Biden administration’s inconsistent approach to Israel’s conflict with Hamas. In an interview on Real America’s Voice on April 8, 2024, Mr. Trump asserted that “any Jewish individual who casts

That late great Jewish comedian and son of Sheboygan, Jackie Mason, used to say that American Jews live like rich white Republicans and vote like poor black Democrats.

Then apparently Jews aren't as smart as we thought they were.. Voting blindly for Dems may mean their IQ's are quite low.

I think the other reason is that a lot of very well educated people believe that there should be a professional class of experts running the country, like themselves. Other, less educated people can’t make good decisions because they don’t understand what is in their own self-interest. That’s why there are so many Never-Trump conservatives who happen to be lawyers.
It’s a very anti-democratic attitude, but nobody calls them on that.

Its about the money, which is first for Jews, above all else, and the Democrats are more than willing to pay them off with your money.

Jews , children of ( legal ) immigrants , grew up under FDR who was the president of their childhood and young adult hood. He took them through the depression and WWII. They in turn had children , the baby boomers that grew up voting like their parents. Their kids seem to be divided, those that think for themselves and those that vote party over logic. The Jews as a whole are a smart group of people but politically they tend to be incapable of critical thinking.

If you haven't figured out by now that "social programs" and "social justice" have without exception been catastrophic failures and all but destroyed the black family and our inner cities, you're not as intelligent as your stereotype.

FDR didn't do any favors for Jews during WW2, he sent a whole shipload of them back to where they came from.

Even more strange - why do so many Israelis especially those of the Jewish faith completely ignore the muzlim dangers that surround their country. Hamas, hezbollah, and Houthis.

What an interesting analysis. If accurate, there is no hope for changing the voting habits of people who are bent on hammering the bell curve flat, even if it means the levelling of society...in the sense of razing it to the ground.

FTA:
Trump obviously is not aware that the majority of American Jews are not motivated by concerns for Israel, nor are they motivated by the interests of the United States or by growing anti-Semitism in this country, especially on university campuses. None of this will affect how they vote.
I heard/read rhis years ago.American Jews came from Europe and have no interest in Israel. Changed their names at Ellis Island and never looked back.

Before I retired, I worked with a Jewish guy about my age. We were talking one morning about the discrimination his father faced in the 1930's and 40's. He said "We can't win. If we're open and friendly, people say 'oh, those Jews are so PUSHY!' If we stick together and only talk to other Jews, we're 'clannish''. I told him that wasn't what upset other people. He said "well, what is it, then?" I said "the trouble is, you live like Methodists - but you vote like Mexicans!" After he stopped laughing, he said I was probably right.
The author of this piece is correct. Most American Jews aren't Jews anymore - they're liberals. That's their religion now.

Keeping it short since I'm late to this party.
Those people aren't Jews. They are liberals who know nothing about their own heritage and background and don't care. They're not even "twice a year" Jews. They just think it's cool to be a minority group. They're just white liberals.

Do they not realize that when they yell "kill all the Jews" that means them too? Practicing, non-practicing, Israel lover, Israel hater. All of them.

My Jewish great-grandparents fled Russia in 1890 and settled in Connecticut. My Jewish cousins are fairly typical Northeastern Jews, except several say that are planning to vote for Trump. They just don't say it out loud where their friends can hear.

Actually, I believe #18 is onto something, and it fits perfectly with #5's personal, cogent experience.
A lot of "Jews" that we think of aren't much religious Jews as much as "cultural Jews", although some smarter person will have a better name for these two groups. Maybe observant Jews and non-observant Jews.
They seem to be quite distinct, even in Israel.

For some Jews (who have never left NYC or Long Guy-land), Republicans wear plaid pants and deny Jews membership in their country clubs. At night, Republicans put on white sheets, get on horses and chase down black people.

One of my oldest friends is a Reform Jew. Another was raised in a Conservative Jewish household. Two of the brightest, kindest men you’d ever want to know. And two of the most reliable Democrat voters you’ll ever meet. I have no explanation except perhaps that they both married outside the faith and consider themselves culturally Jewish, but not religious. But I honestly don’t know.
