Many moons ago, while conservative pundits were blaming Sleepy Joe’s odd behavior on his brain aneurysm surgeries, I said, “No.” All we can clearly see is a narcissistic sociopath with a mixed pattern dementia in the early stages. Prefrontal dementia seemed to explain his hair sniffing and bursts of anger. Since I have not examined the Occupant of 1600 and am a real doctor, not one who plays a doctor on TV, I declined to go further. Calls for more videos fell on deaf ears.

Wow. I just looked up the symptoms of Lewy Body Dementia and Joe checks virtually all the boxes. Take a look at the article by the government's own National Institute on Aging.gov

There's only one solution here.
RESIGNATION, immediate.
He is done.
I don't think he can make it to the election and certainly his performance cannot legitimately improve.
As I asked on this site two weeks ago.

One of the symptoms - visual and auditory hallucinations. Could this explain why he felt distracted, stating that Trump was "yelling" after his mic was turned off??

Wow, very interesting article and if the info is even slightly correct he needs to resign tomorrow. There is no cure, he will only get worse, and since Jill and family are apparently in denial he is not getting treatment that could help him, even minimally. They are putting this country at great risk, we have been at risk for the last 3 and a half years, as his condition is not acute, he has been headed this way for a good while, hence the basement campaign to hide it from the voters. Whether Dems keep him or go with Kammie, they are still going to lose. MAGA

Thank you for this important post, OP. So glad you shared it.
This is the kind of serious information that needs to be spread across this nation. Many of US have known something is very wrong for a long time. But there are people close to Biden who have known this and the seriousness of it for the country, and have been trying to cover it up, AND take advantage of it. These people need to be held accountable, and a stop must be put to the things being done in the name of the POTUS immediately.

Don't underestimate the leftist ability to front a body double, with any level of impairment they choose. They're smart enough to know they can't sell a completely coherent image, but they can create much confusion and uncertainty, even to the point of discrediting the most negative opinions.

Robin Williams was diagnosed with Lewy. Instead of a long decline he chose suicide.

This article really explains why Biden has and why he is confused and stumbling verbally and physically.
What do this advisors plan to do for rhe second debate if he stays in the race? And how would he be able to last very long in a second term? I don't see any way he stays in the race.
I believe they will tap Kamala Harris and she can use the money donated to the campaign. There would be a bloodbath at the convention if they went to an open convention.

To me it looks like garden-variety senility. Some days he's good, other days he's bad. He has undoubtedly become more paranoid about any criticism and any challenges to his viewpoint. Note that he insists that polls show the race is a 'tossup''. And he continues to spout the same shop-worn lies despite being disproven over and over again.

Lewy Body Dementia is the condition Robin Williams was diagnosed with before he committed suicide. There needs to be a provision that a president or other highly elected official MUST commit to a physical and mental evaluation when their health appears to be declining. Put up or shut up and leavel.

My wife died of LBD several years ago. After she first presented symptoms it took about 2 years before it killed her. She was in denial during that entire period until I had to take her to the hospital when she lost control of her bodily functions. Once there she went into a coma and died in about a month. There was no cure, or any sort of treatment, back then for this evil killer and I don't think there is yet today. Robin Williams, after contracting symptoms of LBD, apparently didn't enter denial like my wife did.
He simply hung himself.

IMO, equally dangerous to America as is Joe's senility, are the tens of millions of Americans who refuse to admit he is unfit for office.

Very technically interesting look at Joe's failing brain. The best line is "Joe is over the hill and gaining speed"
And this "Lewy Body Dementia" leads to halucinations......gee, perhaps like shaking hands with invisible people?

I wrote a letter to droopy drawers in September of 2021 and I submit my ending paragraph, summing up my feelings and aspirations for this farcical character for his remaining days on this planet -
"I do not wish you well in the future because you have caused too much pain and suffering to the citizens of the United States of America and should be ignominiously dispatched to the trash bin of American history to be reviled and forgotten, forever."
I did not sign it "Yours Truly"

#3, it certainly explains why he keeps trying to shake hands with people who aren’t there.
As to the tremors, I’ve noticed that he always carries an object of some kind in his left hand. Perhaps clutching it keeps his hand from being too obvious when it shakes.

BTW, #15, Rinktum is a woman. It’s hard when L-dotters disappear and we don’t know what happened. I’ve even asked Igor if the staff has any idea what happened to Lakerman, who had severe neurological side effects from the clot shots. Still don’t know. And I miss them both.

re #20. I used to spend a good bit of time on a site discussing the details of ammunition reloading. And you, like here, would get to "know" some of the posters and anticipate hearing what they had to say on a topic of discussion.
And sometimes they'd just drop off. On some occasions friends or family would post that they had died or become very ill, so we at least knew. Other times....no clue.
Sad that there is no real way to get in touch with commenters here. I know a lot of us are in our later years and a friend since college days, 50+ years ago just dropped dead from a heart attack a couple of months ago without warning. Yes, he'd had previous heart attacks and heart surgery, but was really seemingly fine day to day.
Sad to say, nobody guarantees us even tomorrow. I hope both Rinkturn and Lakerman are fine and may post again some day.

So sad for your loss of your wife, #13. I know that having to helplessly watch her declining health must have been very difficult for you.
That is one reason I find the egregious actions of Biden’s family toward his health so disgusting. How could anyone, who claims to love someone, expose them to the cameras of the world as his health deteriorates? The answer on their part is greed & hunger for all that power affords them, of course.

"Biden is publicly demonstrating a severe impairment from an irreversible disease. Meds may make him look better in the moment, but they don’t change the facts. He’s not running the executive branch because he’s incapable of running it."
This is FAR more important than whether Joe is the 2024 candidate. He is NOT competent to be president NOW! Doping someone up for appearances to get through a meeting is inexcusable. His family and staff are abusive to him by doing this. It is a criminal act to allow a senile president to remain in office.
Jefferson said "Our citizens may be deceived for awhile, and have been deceived; but as long as the presses can be protected, we may trust to them for light.". Apparently the "presses" can NOT be trusted. The media hiding such a disability as Biden has is a gross disservice to the Country and an abdication of their Constitutionally recognized responsibilities.

#21, I spent a lot of time on a firearms site (it may have been The Firing Line, but I can't recall exactly) with a long-time poster, Standing Wolf.
Older posters will remember his post-9/11 "Nuke the terrorists savages."
He passed away a few years ago, but would not have been happy about how our "War on Terror" was lost.

The author failed to mention the falling. There is new skin biopsy that can help with the diagnosis pre mortem. Or a DATscan to show dopamine deficiency. I thought LBD was the diagnosis after the debate but PSP is still in the running. Both not good for the regular Joe and especially bad for POTUS.

My mother had LBD that slowly but surely advanced over a period of about four years. What ultimately killed her was the last but strongest anti-dementia meds that caused her blood sugar to crash to zero and it wrecked her brain.
Biden's days on this side of the ground are numbered. The Jilliemaster and the dims will try to play the sympathy card and manipulate the sheep to nominate and vote for the big guy then let him go. It's how the left operates.
Meanwhile, rest assured that Obie and the dims have a plan ready for Kamalie to take over until January complete with teleprompter training every day. And anti-cackling behavior modification.

Good thoughtful expressions of concern over several of our long-time L.dotters. Rinktum's last posting was June 18th. Wishing her the very best. I keep in touch with TQ on occasion who believes Lakerman had suffered significant medical setbacks post-vax. Condition is unknown but not hopeful.
I also don't know what happened to Stormcnter. Years ago, we used to trade news stories with each other on specific topics we were both interested in. She lives in Texas and is one nice person and in her early 80s.

We have a gal who has a dog sitting service which we use 3 days a week for our Lab. Her husband has Lewy Body Dementia and it is a HORRIBLE disease. The worst part, people can live a long time with this and it just gets worse. For the most part, he is oblivious of his disease, but his caregiver goes through hell and back. I wouldn't wish this on anybody, even Biden.
