Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has come under fire once more over the “donations” to a dark money group for her inaugural events last year after it was reported that a state contractor’s six-figure donation led to millions in state funds.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Katie Hobbs’ ethics was called into question by GOP State Legislators after she charged donors as much As $250,000 using a 501(c)(4) nonprofit group for inaugural events. The nonprofit she used was also headquartered at the same address as Coppersmith Brockelman PLC. This is the same Democrat law firm that represented Defendant Katie Hobbs in Kari Lake’s lawsuit

President Joe Biden appears to have gotten in over his head after making a last-minute effort to secure the southern border ahead of the November election. Wednesday marked the first full day of Biden’s executive order took place, which aims to restrict access for asylum seekers. However, the plan seemed to backfire as hundreds of illegal immigrants were seen entering the United States through gaps in the border wall along the San Diego corridor.
That same day, Customs Border and Protection officials told Fox News that nearly 4,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended. This number does not include gotaways.

Reacting to Donald Trump’s hush-money conviction in Manhattan on 30 May, the French writer Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry asked on X: “Has there been a single left-of-centre person… who has said: ‘Hey, nakedly partisan prosecutions of your political opponents goes against the values of liberal democracy, rule of law, justice, and everything my side claims to support?’”
A number of progressive figures have, in fact, decried lawfare against Trump and the Trumpians. It’s no accident that The Wall Street Journal ran an “exclusive” hagiographic piece on Merrick Garland’s “by-the-book, play-no-favorites approach” the day the attorney general is set to be grilled by Congress. The administration wants to paint the AG as a fair-minded dispenser of justice.
In truth, while Garland might occasionally — only when faced with no real options — put the Biden administration in an uncomfortable political position, he has regularly weaponized the agency to target the president’s political enemies, from pro-life protesters to concerned parents to presidential candidates.
Even as I write this, Garland is refusing to hand over audio recordings of Joe Biden’s interviews with former Special Counsel Robert Hur,

There were a lot of ceremonies for D-Day in Normandy on Thursday.
So that's a lot for Joe Biden, who normally has a very limited schedule — and doesn’t even seem up to that.
As I noted earlier, Biden seemed very tired, both speaking to David Muir from ABC and earlier on Thursday in the ceremonies.
He appeared to try to sit down when everyone else was standing in a truly weird moment. Then Jill hustled him out of there while French President Emmanuel Macron was still greeting the honored veterans.
Then the group went to Omaha Beach for the next segment of the ceremonies.

Joe Biden was in Normandy on Thursday morning to recognize the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and if there's anything you can take away from his performance on the world stage, it's that his performance on the debate stage later this month is going to be a disaster — if it even happens. I'm still skeptical.
Democrats have long tried to counter the narrative that Biden isn't mentally fit to be president, citing his State of the Union address as proof. However, there are suspicions that Biden was drugged for that address earlier this year. It's almost unfortunate that he didn't receive another dose before embarrassing the United States in France.

Now imagine that you have to move all those people and all that stuff partly by air, but mostly across heavy seas in foul weather.

Yowza. It was amazing to watch the fourth test flight of SpaceX's Starship. If you didn't catch it live, don't worry. You will see these images countless times over the coming hours and days. The launch was nothing short of stunning, in some ways rivaling the launch of a Saturn V launch vehicle and in other ways far more impressive.
Of course, the craft doesn't carry men to the moon--yet, at least--and it is only in its test phase, so at this stage the emotional charge is hardly comparable.
That may change, though, if Starship fulfills its intended mission, which is to bring men to the moon from orbit

Conservative commentators’ red carpets are rolled out for independent presidential candidate Bobby Kennedy Jr., whose name recognition is off the scale thanks to the accident of his birth.
But whether Glenn Beck, Megyn Kelly, Ben Shapiro, and others who have loaned him their microphones of late, wanted to experience a little glow from the relics of Camelot or, more likely, sought to shift votes away from President Joe Biden, it is very clear this election year that hyping RFK Jr. in any way is something no one on the side of freedom in America should be doing.

The president of the United States is a yam or a squash or some other sort of vegetable because he is no longer sentient.
I say this after some consideration and after reading a very long interview that he did with Time Magazine. He’s on the cover of Time — which is basically a defunct magazine at this point — gazing out stonily, standing over the Resolute desk staring into the camera in black and white, with a headline reading, “If He Wins.”
Time is doing its best to try and massage him through this campaign. In their piece behind the cover, they say, “In the time we spent with the President,

Michigan’s Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel is the top law enforcement officer in the state. Unfortunately, for the lawfare queen, the case of her career, which involves charging 15 MI GOP electors with 8 felonies each, appears to be imploding. (Photo) If Michigan’s Democrat attorney general is successful with her politically-motivated witch hunt against the Trump-supporting electors, and they are found guilty of all 8 felony charges, it would be enough to send each member of the group, which consists of primarily senior citizens, to prison for life.

Russia responds to Ukraine’s claim that it will soon be welcoming French troops to its borders by threatening to kill them, saying they would not be immune from military action.
The chief of Russia’s foreign service Sergei Lavrov says Russian forces consider NATO — specifically French — troops deployed to Ukraine as legitimate targets and, furthermore, that he believes the French are already there.
The war talk follows months of bellicose rhetoric by French President Emmanuel Macron, who above and beyond other NATO leaders seems determined to become directly involved in the Ukraine conflict t

The Wall Street Journal published a lengthy and damning piece regarding President Joe Biden’s cognitive health, which did not please the White House. The article is fraught with quotes from Biden’s communications staff and those from Democratic Party congressional leadership who played the role of the good soldier, dispelling any qualms about the president’s mental health, which has become a top voter concern in 2024. From reportedly forgetting his own energy policy meeting with Speaker Mike Johnson to serial slip-ups, the piece doesn’t dispel anything we’ve seen from the president in public. Before his ouster, Speaker Kevin McCarthy negotiated a debt ceiling

In 2020, CBS News’ Lesley Stahl interviewed then-President Trump when the Hunter Biden laptop was revealed to the world. The device was filled with sexual debauchery, drug use, and the blueprint for the Biden family influence-peddling operation that was damning for the Democrats’ hopes of retaking the White House. The liberal media and Silicon Valley knew that too, which is why they buried the story and censored The New York Post, who first reported on the laptop, from posting on their social media accounts for days. Thieves in California are stealing fire hydrants throughout Los Angeles County, leaving communities at risk if there’s an emergency.
According to ABC 7, over 100 hydrants have been stolen this year alone. One resident, Krystal Cousins lives between two fire hydrants in the Florence-Firestone area. She told reporters that both of them were stolen on Thursday.
"It's mind-boggling that someone would just come into a neighborhood and just steal a fire hydrant," neighbor Krystail Cousins said. "You're now putting a whole neighborhood in danger."
"Having no fire hydrant on the street is a whole lawsuit right there if something were to go up in flames. People do fireworks all night over here.

Last Friday, President Joe Biden laid out a ceasefire proposal as part of the Israel-Hamas War, which will involve using American taxpayer dollars to rebuild the Gaza Strip. There's been pushback from Israel over the validity of the details, especially since they involve what the Jewish State would never agree to, though our ally in the Middle East isn't the only one displeased with Biden's announcement.
On Tuesday afternoon, a group known as the Tikva Forum for Families of Hostages released a statement from their X account making clear they want Biden to step back from his meddling.

America is not over, no matter how dire everything looks. And it is dire – we’re becoming an impotent and impoverished banana republic that is pushed around by foreign s*****gs overseas and perverts, crooks, and commies here at home. When you look at the depths into which our country has fallen, you have to wonder whether we Americans can ever rise to the occasion again. Is there greatness still within us? Can we ever be great again?
Hell yeah.
We are the inheritors of a legacy of greatness. This is the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and if you’ve seen Saving Private Ryan,

Vice President Kamala Harris’ appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show had to be reshot because activists from the far left-wing group Code Pink sprung an ambush. From the audience, multiple Code Pink operatives hurled insults, chiding the vice president for enabling genocide in Gaza. One man is seen waving a Palestinian flag. While being escorted out, they pepper Harris one last time, asking how many babies she has killed and why she supports continued funding to Israel. [Video]
“15,000 babies dead because of you!”
“Stop the genocide!”
“You’re a murderer!”
“Real babies have been beheaded, not the fake babies that Joe Biden said he saw,” shouted another activist.

Donald Trump's campaign has begun requesting information from potential vice presidential candidates, sources close to the convicted conservative have said.
Among those who have received requests are North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Florida's Marco Rubio, Ohio Sen. JD Vance and South Carolina's Tim Scott, one person said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the outreach effort.
Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, and Trump's 2016 rival-turned cabinet member Ben Carson were also said to be on the list - a set of seven who will vetted after they fill out the forms, two others said.

FBI agent Erika Jensen confirmed Tuesday that Hunter Biden’s laptop was in fact real and authentic — meaning that every single one of the 51 “former intelligence officials” who called it Russian misinformation in 2020 should lose their security clearances.
Recall that Politico published their letter in October 2020, just days after the New York Post revealed the existence of the laptop — which in turn revealed evidence about the Biden family’s corruption and foreign deals. The Biden campaign seized on the letter — with Joe Biden specifically citing it during the subsequent presidential debate — and the media and the Silicon Valley tech giants followed, censoring news

Longtime readers of mine are familiar with my overwhelming disdain for Paul Krugman, the Opinion section ultra-hack at The New York Times. I've lost count of how many columns I've written about this partisan lapdog.
Krugman fancies himself a genius's genius because he once won a Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. That's a Nobel-adjacent prize — he's not a laureate. Still, it's quite an achievement in his chosen field.
It doesn't mean he knows anything outside of that chosen field, however.
For most of the past two years, I've been writing about Krugman's stream of finger-wagging articles telling the American public that they aren't really suffering under Bidenomics.

Of all the phony baloney things I've heard about Joe Biden, this one ranks extremely high up there as one of the most insane takes possible.
During a recent appearance on MSNBC, Andrew Weissmann, who was an attorney for the Mueller investigation and former general counsel to the FBI, literally gushed over Joe Biden, essentially calling him the embodiment of the rule of law.
"What is before us is a president who is living, the rule of law he is living in ...the most personal way," he claimed. "He is not telling DOJ to stand down, which is his power to do it. It's a norm.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Months after Disney and Gov. Ron DeSantis’ appointees agreed to end a protracted legal fight, the two sides are set to approve an agreement that could result in the company investing up to $17 billion into its Florida resort and opens the door to a fifth major theme park at Walt Disney World.
The five DeSantis-appointed supervisors who oversee the Disney World district voted Wednesday to give initial approval to a new development agreement that both sides had agreed to negotiate after a March settlement ended their state court lawsuits against each other.
A second vote was required for final approval, and that was set for next week.

An overwhelming majority of registered voters say the Manhattan jury’s verdict — finding former President Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts in his business records trial — has not changed their voting intention, the latest weekly survey from the Economist/YouGov found.
The survey asked respondents if Trump’s conviction in the business records trial “caused you to reconsider your vote in the 2024 presidential election.”
A supermajority, 92 percent of registered voters, said, “No, it has not” caused them to reconsider their vote. Only eight percent said it has caused them to reconsider.
