The New York prosecutor in the New York City hush money case against Donald Trump was previously hired for 'political consulting' by the Democratic National Committee. The revelations regarding attorney Matthew Colangelo raises concerns over the perceived politicalization of the multiple cases against the former president – and specifically the first case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office. Colangelo, according to a Fox News Digital review of Federal Election Commission records, was paid $12,000 by the DNC on January 31, 2018. It was distributed by DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee in two separate payments of $6,000 on the same day.

Two separate payments of $6,000 dollars on the same day. Anything over $10,000 dollars requires a notice to the IRS. The feces keeps getting deeper and deeper.

On Twitter/X, people think the case is only about a false business record. That is what the prosecution is hoping the jury will think, too. They want a conviction, even if it will be overturned on appeal. Appeals take a long time. In the meantime, Trump is a "convicted felon."

The washington swamp rats have painted themselves into a corner...which is why the democratically compromised judge merchant....said yesterday he could jail President Trump...but didn't want to...but instead fined him another $1,000 fine...I guess he needs most coffee money for the prosecutors and himself....

Unless there are one or two jurors who are totally apolitical and recognize the injustice of this trial, none of this matters. They will convict Trump. Trump will win in an appeal, but that doesn't matter to the democrats. They will get the conviction and and forever label Trump a felon.

So, not only has the judge in this case been "bought and paid for", the prosecutor has been paid off as well.

Israel has launched a rocket attack on Rafah after dismissing Hamas accepting a Gaza ceasefire proposal as a 'ruse'. Hamas issued a statement earlier today saying its supreme leader, Ismail Haniyeh, had delivered the news in a phone call with Qatar's prime minister and Egypt's intelligence minister. But an Israeli official said the proposal that Hamas had accepted was a 'softened' version of an Egyptian proposal, which included 'far-reaching' conclusions that Israel could not accept. 'This would appear to be a ruse intended to make Israel look like the side refusing a deal,' said the Israeli official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Hamas opened fire near the Keren Shalom crossing that had been used to bring in aid to Gaza. The attack was predictably launched from near a civilian shelter in Rafah. Meanwhile, Philippe Lazzarini, the head of UNRWA, whose employees have been shown to be Hamas, again and again, accused Israel of blocking aid. Every UN and international aid body in the region keeps claiming that there’s famine in Gaza. As they’ve been claiming for the past 6 months. Except that the famine is always on the verge of arriving, but never quite does.

The CEO of Hims has walked back his support of anti-Israel campus protesters after the male hair loss company's stock dropped by 10 percent amid a boycott sparked by his comments. Andrew Dudum, who identifies as Palestinian-American, last week sparked uproar by offering jobs to the campus protesters at Columbia and other schools. Share holders sold off their positions and customers canceled their subscriptions in a boycott that tanked the company's value. On Sunday night, Dudum took to X to 'clarify' his comments, toning down his full-throated support after a wave of backlash.

Is anyone really surprised? After weeks of bias intimidation by Hamas supporters aimed at Jewish students and faculty, including Khymani James, an encampment leader who had talked to Columbia University officials about killing Jews, the Biden administration’s Department of Education, with the inevitability of a rigged slot machine in Reno, is launching a “civil rights investigation” into the university for “extreme anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, and Islamophobic harassment”. The complaint comes from ‘Palestine Legal’, the same group providing advice to the encampment protesters. The Chicago Teachers Union's contract is set to expire in June which will soon prompt negotiations between educators and the school board. Union President Stacy Davis Gates said in early March that her proposed contract for 2024 to 2028 'will cost $50 billion and 3 cents.' 'And so what?' Davis Gates added. 'That’s audacity. That’s Chicago.' The teachers union is demanding nine percent cost of living adjustments every year. According to Indeed, the average salary of a teacher in Chicago Public Schools is $67,718. With raises every year for four years, teachers would be getting paid about $95,000 a year by 2028, which is roughly 36 percent higher than the national average.

While most Americans don’t like Communist China, the highest negative scores for the Communist dictatorship can be found among Republicans and older Americans, while the most positive ones can be found among Democrats and younger people. Notably the only two groups where a quarter believe that China is a “partner” are 18-29-year-olds and “conservative” Democrats: a group that these days is disproportionately black. Liberals are the least likely of any group to see China as an enemy. And less than a third of Democrats in general view China as an enemy. The use of phrases such as “pregnant people” or “penis owners” in cultural or political discourse is sometimes met with confusion, or even anger. Why use these terms when, as some people ask, “only women can get pregnant” or when “only men have penises?” Those people and institutions using gender-neutral language aim to be cognizant of the fact that sex doesn’t always align with gender identity, said psychiatrist Dr. Jack Drescher, past president of the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry and clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University in New York City. And it’s the most inclusive, streamlined way to refer to everyone who, regardless of their gender identity,

Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus’s 12 Apostles. In the Garden of Gethsemane the night before Jesus's crucifixion, Judas betrayed Jesus to the Sanhedrin who eventually arrested Jesus. Jesus predicted this betrayal during the Last Supper. In exchange for his treachery, Judas received thirty pieces of silver. Could he have also been threatened? Who knows? The Bible says nothing about that. Modern day betrayals, particularly of leaders, occur via carrot or stick, reward or kompromat. For Judas, the price was a pocket of silver coins. For members of Congress, the price may be a do-nothing board seat, a cable news gig, or stock options worth millions.
