A spending bill backed by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) includes hundreds of millions of dollars in American taxpayer money for border patrol agents in Ukraine as illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border remains at record levels.
The spending bill, which 151 House Republicans helped 165 House Democrats advance on Friday, would see more than $95 billion sent to foreign countries — including about $61 billion to Ukraine amid its ongoing war with Russia. Slipped into the funding package’s Ukraine spending is $300 million for “the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine 20 and National Police of Ukraine, including units supporting 21 or under the command of

President Biden didn't make TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People" list for 2024 after receiving the annual honor for the past three years of his presidency.
Former President Trump did not make the list either this election year. Both presidential candidates previously appeared on the 2020 edition of the annual list, however.
Vice President Kamala Harris was similarly absent from this year's list, which was published on Wednesday and included leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, activists and politicians. Both Biden and Harris did pen tributes to honor other figures on the list.

Liberals call Conservatives a myriad of unwarranted names, and the most ridiculous is “book banners.”
The truth is that right-leaning parents simply don’t want sexually explicit and age-inappropriate books in our children’s schools. If liberals want to read about pornography, masturbation, transgenderism or something else with their kids at home, that’s their right…depraved, but not our issue. If a liberal entrepreneur/activist with blue hair, pronouns and rainbow flags wants to open a bookstore and stock it with smut, that is ze/zir/zim/they prerogative as a private business owner.

Friday afternoon featured one of the more disturbing incidents one will ever see on live TV as, amid rolling coverage on cable news and streaming platforms of the Trump trial brought by far-left Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg, a man lit himself on fire in the so-called protest space outside the New York City courthouse.
On ABC News Live, longtime network correspondent Terry Moran invoked January 6 and repeatedly implied without evidence Trump and “the gravitational pull of the...melodrama” around him drove a disturbed person to harm themselves.Investigative reporter Olivia Rubin was discussing the breaking news that a full jury had been selected

On Friday, the Biden administration released its new Title IX regulations, and its strictures engendered anger and outrage for those defending traditional values.
The document, which runs over 1,500 pages, states that the Department of Education “disagrees with the contention that including sexual orientation and gender identity in the scope of §106.10 harms women. Recognizing these bases of sex discrimination under Title IX in no way lessens the force of Title IX’s protections against discrimination that limits educational opportunities for girls and women. Further, discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity is typically motivated by the same sex stereotypes that limit opportunities for women regardless of whether

JUNEAU, Alaska— The Biden administration said Friday it will restrict new oil and gas leasing on 13 million acres (5.3 million hectares) of a federal petroleum reserve in Alaska to help protect wildlife such as caribou and polar bears as the Arctic continues to warm.
The decision — part of a yearslong fight over whether and how to develop the vast oil resources in the state — finalizes protections first proposed last year as the Democratic administration prepared to approve the contentious Willow oil project.
The approval of Willow drew fury from environmentalists, who said the large oil project violated President Joe Biden’s pledge to combat climate change. Friday’s decision also complete

A Left-leaning columnist is admitting that the 12-person jury selected to serve on former President Donald Trump’s trial leans more Democrat than not.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman confirmed a common belief among Trump supporters-- which is that the 2024 hopeful won’t get a fair trial in the majorly liberal city of Manhattan. “One thing that’s been striking during this round of voir dire is there a lot of people who, based on their answers, are more left-of-center than not, politically,” Haberman wrote. “But some seem to be trying to show they can consider alternative viewpoints, and others seem to want to show

Joe Biden on Friday was an incoherent rambling mess as he addressed members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) construction and maintenance conference in Washington DC.
Biden slurred and yelled throughout his short speech.

“People are doing better! I could go on, but I’m not going to … boy, I’m tempted these days!” Biden said This is a lie. Middle-class Americans are suffering because of high inflation rates, soaring gas prices, and chronic underemployment thanks to Joe Biden.
“Instead of importin foreign products, I’m exporting fedurhhahh products!” Biden said.

Potential Trump jurors more often than not lean politically left, New York Times’s reporter Maggie Haberman said Thursday.
Haberman’s statement confirms a widely held belief among Republicans that former President Donald Trump will not receive a fair criminal trial in Manhattan. President Joe Biden won over 86 percent of the Manhattan vote in 2020.
“One thing that’s been striking during this round of voir dire is there a lot of people who, based on their answers, are more left-of-center than not, politically,” wrote Haberman, who doubles as a political analyst for CNN.

President Joe Biden told a group of supporters earlier this week at a campaign event in Scranton, Pennsylvania, that he often sees 7- and 8-year-olds flipping him the bird while he’s driving through neighborhoods or rural towns.
While speaking at a campaign event in his hometown on Tuesday, the president decried yard signs that say “F Biden” and then said that he often witnesses young children giving him the middle finger.“I’ve never thought I’d see a time when I’m going through a — a neighborhood or a rural town that’s in the West and see big signs that have a Trump sign in the middle that says ‘F Biden’ and

Horrifying scenes unfolded outside Donald Trump's hush money trial on Friday after a man set himself on fire in an act of extreme political protest.
The man, who has not yet been named officially, doused himself in gasoline before taking a lighter to his clothes near Manhattan criminal court.
He was seen kneeling with his hands behind his head as the world's media and horrified onlookers watched. NYPD officers rushed to extinguish the flames. The man was taken away in a gurney and remains in the hospital in critical condition.

The Department of Energy (DOE) funded energy-related research involving a scientist from an Iranian university linked to the country’s nuclear program.
The DOE’s Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) is listed as the funding agency for a study on advanced technology that could help power grids go green. One of the seven researchers credited as an author of the study, Mohammad Hasan Ravanji, is a professor of electrical engineering at Iran’s Sharif University of Technology (SUT), a university that has been sanctioned by several Western countries for its advancement of Iran’s nuclear program and connections to the country’s military.
