A Boeing whistleblower was found dead in his truck in the parking lot of his South Carolina hotel after he failed to show up for the second part of his testimony for a bombshell lawsuit against the company, a report said Monday.
John Barnett, 62, had raised safety concerns at the airline’s factories and provided his first testimony just days before he was found dead from an apparent “self-inflicted” gunshot wound, the Charleston County coroner told the BBC.
Barnett’s attorney, Brian Knowles, told TMZ that he had explicit doubt about the circumstances of his death, and called the self-inflicted gunshot “alleged.”

On Sunday evening, July 30, at around 8:00, I was in a supermarket near Roosevelt and Canal in Chicago’s South Loop, an upscale shopping, health club and movie hub on the edge of downtown. The area has been regarded as safe and on the upswing since the late 1990s and is even being considered for a new White Sox park or Bears stadium.
While entering the store I noticed scores of African American teenagers lining the street. At first, I thought that there was some kind of festival or parade. But there was already a city policeman guarding the entrance.

An X post went viral this week for showing a meager meal at popular chain Five Guys — a burger, small fries and drink — racking up a brain-busting $24 tab (including tip).
That likely puts lunch at a fast casual joint well out of reach for an everyday American family.
We know whom to thank for this: Joe Biden, progressive Dems and the terrible economic policies they love to enact.
Think about it.
Who else is responsible for the massive inflation hitting average Americans?
Via his endless drunk-sailor spending, Biden dumped trillions into the economy just as it was coming into a strong upswing after the COVID crush.

It didn't matter if Joe Biden took to the podium during Thursday night's State of the Union and drooled for an hour, Democrats were always going to proclaim it the greatest speech of all time. When it turned out to be the most unhinged and angry example of a tradition the country should scrap with prejudice, there was no chance some actual honesty was going to punch through. [snip]
Naturally, Democrats are in a full-scale revolt over it. As RedState reported, Nancy Pelosi chastised the president, and the list of detractors is growing substantially.

During more than three years of his presidency, Joe Biden has become known as much for his bursts of anger and yelling as for his serial lying and concocting mumbling words that make zero sense.
[snip] He had one last opportunity to at least try to somewhat heal — if just a bit — a nation further fractured by his divisive presidency.
Yet, there Joe was: "Us against them" vs. "Let's try to come together." The latter was not to happen.
Instead, a very angry president screamed at House Republicans and about Donald Trump — and even looked the Supreme Court justices in the eye and politically chastised them

Shocking footage has emerged showing the moments an innocent high school junior from Wheaton, Illinois was beaten into unconsciousness by two fellow students. Even worse, credible information reveals infuriating steps the school took to sweep the incident under the rug.
The video, which has gone viral today thanks to Libs of Tiktok, shows a white kid being assaulted by two other individuals in a bathroom at Wheaton Warrenville South. The thugs are seen beating and stomping on the poor youth while one shouts, “What the f*ck is wrong with you!”
The unconscious victim is then carried out of the bathroom by other students.

Appearing alongside Vice President Kamala Harris in Selma, Alabama, on Sunday, Garland called voter ID laws and other voter integrity laws “discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary.” The two were speaking at an event commemorating the fifty-ninth anniversary of the Bloody Sunday attacks on civil rights marchers in Selma
Garland recalled the history of voting rights for black Americans since the end of slavery, which he said has “never been steady” into the present day charging that voter ID laws have made it harder “for millions of eligible voters to vote and to elect the representatives of their choice.”

A California man has become the first person in the United States charged with illegally smuggling greenhouse gases into the country, officials said Monday.
Michael Hart of San Diego was arrested under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020, which prohibits the importation of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) without proper permits from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
HFCs are potent greenhouse gases commonly found in refrigerators and air conditioners, building insulation, fire extinguishing systems, and aerosols. They can be hundreds to thousands of times more potent than carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere, exacerbating the climate crisis.

As many as 600 teenagers, most of them black, rioted Saturday night at Six Flags Over Georgia. At least one teen was shot
Cobb County officers said between 500-600 teens were “running through the park and fighting.” At one point th crowd opened fire on officers as they ran onto Six Flags Parkway.
At some point, “multiple people began shooting, hitting an unoccupied CCPD marked patrol car,” according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
“As officers identified where the shots were coming from, they ran after people who had run into the woods. During the incident, one CCPD officer fired his weapon, hitting one minor,” according to the GBI.

As jab-peddling continued, the “experts” at the CDC rolled out their latest recommendations regarding COVID and the flu “about 4.5 years late.”
When names like Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Deborah Birx and Dr. Robert Redfield were just beginning to become readily recognizable by the public at the beginning of 2020, many may recall how masking was discounted as a mostly futile practice and COVID-19 was being regarded as a “bad flu.”
Now, after both of those notions had been cast asunder in favor of panic porn and illogical lockdowns that divided society by “essential” and “non-essential” workers, the CDC released their updated recommendations on dealing with respiratory viruses

President Joe Biden’s White House has begun referring to border crossers and illegal aliens as “newcomers and “people who are in the country” — a terminology distinction that conflicts with federal immigration law.
On Thursday — while promoting a Senate bill to preserve his catch and release network at the United States-Mexico border — Biden’s White House made a passing reference to border crossers and illegal aliens, calling them “newcomers” to the U.S.
The White House fact sheet on the Senate bill reads:
The bill also includes $1.4 billion for cities and states who are providing critical services to newcomers,

A key measure of inflation rose last month at the fastest pace since March of 2022.
The personal consumption expenditure price index for services excluding housing and energy services—often called “super core” inflation—rose 0.6 percent in January. This inflation gauge rose this much in March of 2022, December of 2021, and in March of 2021.
It is historically rare for this metric of inflation to rise at this high of a monthly pace. Prior to Biden’s presidency, it had only happened three times in this century, including a single month immediately following the 9/11 terror attacks. Before that, the measure had not jumped 0.6 percent since 1993.
