Fixation on CO2 Ignores Real Driver of
Temperature, Experts Say

Original Article

Each year from 2023 to 2030, climate change sustainable development goals will cost every person in economies such as the United States $2,026, the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development estimates. In lower-income economies, the per-person annual cost ranges from $332 to $1,864.(snip)Ian Clark, emeritus professor for the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Ottawa, agreed that if all greenhouse gas emissions ceased today, the Earth would continue warming—but not because of CO2. He said that contrary to popular opinion, temperature doesn’t follow CO2—instead, CO2 follows temperature, which, itself, is due to solar activity.

Comments:

We aren't doing it. But our money is being gthrown at it. An execise in futility.

THIS IS CRITICAL "“I used the IPCC’s own carbon cycle data, which IPCC says is accurate to about 20 percent,” he said. “The model doesn’t give humans producing 140 ppm. It comes out closer to 30 ppm. Which essentially means the IPCC is wrong.”" CO2 is increasing but there is NO certainty as to how much is natural and how much is due to man's activities. If the reality is that man is only producing a small portion of the increase in CO2, 30/140 = ~1/5 as much as advertised, we could eliminate all man created CO2 (and mankind) and it wouldn't make all that much difference. Further, there are hard physical limits on the impact of CO2 on greenhouse gas effects. Increasing CO2 from 400 ppm to 800 ppm would only "force" an increase in temperature of 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit. So, no matter the source of CO2, the impact of increasing it further is VERY limited. Further, there are many "secondary" climate processes and the nature of these things is that secondary processes tend to be COUNTER to the primary process, negating its effects and lowering the primary impact. The IPCC is reaching a wall. They NEED enough projected temperature increase to declare an "emergency" but their models, after being forced toward reality instead of computer games, keep lowering the projected temperature impacts. Even now, looking deep into the actual reports, a lot of information is rated at "low confidence", meaning UNRELIABLE. They are trying to push a catastrophic agenda on humanity with low confidence science that keeps retreating every time they review it.

From polar ice core samples of thousands of years to sandstone deposits of millions of years a clear pattern is seen that CO2 and global temperatures are two separate cycles with exactly similar periodicity. Temperature leads. CO2 lags. It is high school physics to identify the cause and effect here. How can they get away with denying it and asserting the exact opposite? Politics and trillions of dollars!

This Week In Lawfare Land: Prosecutor
Misconduct Jeopardizes Another Case

As the lawfare crusade continues, former President Donald Trump is racking up significant victories in court. Down in Florida, President Trump secured an indefinite delay in his criminal case involving alleged mishandling of classified documents. This delay was ordered following revelations that Special Counsel Jack Smith and prosecutors mishandled and misrepresented evidence, which is uniquely ironic given the subject matter of the underlying case. In Georgia, where another criminal case is pending, the Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to hear President Trump’s attempt to remove Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis from the case. The Georgia Court of Appeals is set to consider and decide this issue in the coming weeks.

During a May 6 interview with a Colombian radio program, the populist president-elect reiterated his vow to repatriate migrants coming into Panama while shutting down what has become a major route for illegal migration. “When repatriation begins here, those who try to arrive will think twice because they will not have an easy destination because they will be transferred to their countries of origin,” Mr. Mulino said.

For a man who has never been shy about sharing his sanctimonious opinions, former President Barack Obama has been noticeably quiet about anti-Israel anarchists’ takeover of U.S. college campuses. That appears to be a response to the pro-Hamas demonstrations that have engulfed the school for weeks. The announcement came days after the university (finally) permitted law enforcement to arrest participants unlawfully occupying a school building.

Prior to the Obama-era the radicals tearing down government defended the transparently guilty, their allies and fellow traveling communists. Those who were arrested for violence the radicals supported, were defended, excused and their activity justified. After the election of Obama, as noted first by author Jack Cashill, something changed; (anip) In the “anger games” era of Barack Obama, the radicals began attacking the innocent and using their allies in media as part of the attack narrative.
