Each year from 2023 to 2030, climate change sustainable development goals will cost every person in economies such as the United States $2,026, the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development estimates. In lower-income economies, the per-person annual cost ranges from $332 to $1,864.(snip)Ian Clark, emeritus professor for the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Ottawa, agreed that if all greenhouse gas emissions ceased today, the Earth would continue warming—but not because of CO2.
He said that contrary to popular opinion, temperature doesn’t follow CO2—instead, CO2 follows temperature, which, itself, is due to solar activity.

Finally - someone figured out the earth’s temperature is largely caused by our sun! Hallelujah!

Amazing. Shocking!
You mean the the huge 10,000 degree hydrogen fusion reaction in the sky that has provided all the light and heat for the whole planet for the last 4 billion years might affect the clinate?
How shocking. I thought that it was caused SUVs and gas stoves!

Plant more trees! Tress love CO2 so much, they literally eat it up.

THIS IS CRITICAL
"“I used the IPCC’s own carbon cycle data, which IPCC says is accurate to about 20 percent,” he said. “The model doesn’t give humans producing 140 ppm. It comes out closer to 30 ppm. Which essentially means the IPCC is wrong.”"
CO2 is increasing but there is NO certainty as to how much is natural and how much is due to man's activities. If the reality is that man is only producing a small portion of the increase in CO2, 30/140 = ~1/5 as much as advertised, we could eliminate all man created CO2 (and mankind) and it wouldn't make all that much difference.
Further, there are hard physical limits on the impact of CO2 on greenhouse gas effects. Increasing CO2 from 400 ppm to 800 ppm would only "force" an increase in temperature of 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit. So, no matter the source of CO2, the impact of increasing it further is VERY limited. Further, there are many "secondary" climate processes and the nature of these things is that secondary processes tend to be COUNTER to the primary process, negating its effects and lowering the primary impact.
The IPCC is reaching a wall. They NEED enough projected temperature increase to declare an "emergency" but their models, after being forced toward reality instead of computer games, keep lowering the projected temperature impacts. Even now, looking deep into the actual reports, a lot of information is rated at "low confidence", meaning UNRELIABLE. They are trying to push a catastrophic agenda on humanity with low confidence science that keeps retreating every time they review it.

Increased CO2 is good for life and so is warming. The UN and the alarmists want lots of money and to control the world. It is that simple.

Pretty sure these "scientists" will be ignored since their science isn't what the democrats want to hear.

From polar ice core samples of thousands of years to sandstone deposits of millions of years a clear pattern is seen that CO2 and global temperatures are two separate cycles with exactly similar periodicity. Temperature leads. CO2 lags. It is high school physics to identify the cause and effect here. How can they get away with denying it and asserting the exact opposite? Politics and trillions of dollars!

There is CO2 in cola.
Take a cola out of the fridge, open it, set it on the table.
As it warms, what happens to the CO2?
Same thing with oceans...
You can't stop it, no matter how much taxes you pay

Yes poster #12, the fool leftists will spout the garbage about the sun having nothing to do with temperatures. Why? Because that's what they've been told by so-called "scientists", you know the mikey mann type of "scientists". This is just another subject where leftist spew whatever tripe they've been programmed to say. No logic, no reason, no thought process whatsoever. To see it in action, all you have to do is talk to them.

Might be why countries like China, Russia, India, and most others aren't as consumed by this issue.
They know what we aren't being told by the Democrat Party and their enviro-nut affiliated groups.
