Here in Boston, we know just how corrupt the FBI can be. For instance, framing innocent men for murders they did not commit, or providing explosives for gangsters to use to kill reporters. Or taking payoffs to set up informants to be rubbed out by serial-killing cocaine dealers, and then after committing such crimes being promoted to director of the FBI training academy in Quantico, Virginia….

Sean Hannity could not be reached for comment. The good news is that if this bunch of degenerate human beings ever comes after you, there is a fighting chance that you are more skilled with weapons, better fit and smarter than the goons with guns who are attacking you. On Day Two, President Trump should fire Wray and his fellow mobsters and reform the whole outfit if he doesn't disband it and restore the famous motto that the feebs lost long ago.

Howie's a piece of work, and has been for a long time. The uber-left Boston Globe wouldn't even sneeze at him. That's their loss. Just maybe, the Globe is facing what the LA Times and other denizens of the Legacy Media are facing--bankruptcy. Oh, how happy that would make real Americans, tired of being lied to day after day by a media devoted to what Obama most wanted: "fundamentally transforming the United States of America." It's beginning to appear that the FBI, called by some the Fudd Bureau of Instigation post 1/6/2002, should just be deracinated ... abolished, demolished, top down AND bottom up--there's political corruption through and through that federal police force, and then replaced in toto with a properly recruited agency. (An aside: maybe not. The Constitution doesn't call for an FBI. Why not just get rid of it all? No legal authority for it.) This DEI nonsense is putting incompetents, all the way to the top, into every Alphabet agency, even into the Pentagon and into most publicly held companies. Military, police, fire, etc.-- if they hire or promote on merit, they're going to be sued. At the official level, physical qualifications no longer matter, even in police and fire, where real strength is sometimes required. To stay in Google's good graces and get good corporate ratings, you must check the proper boxes, sucker. For many decades after the DC-10 crashes of forty-odd years ago, the maxim of regular fliers might have been "If it's not Boeing, I'm not going." Things change. In recent years Boeing has been up front about hiring unqualified (they don't call them that) people, even as wrench turners in the assembly line, and paying them top union wages. In many airlines, tomorrow's pilots are being recruited on the basis of race, sex, and probably sexuality. What could possibly go wrong? Now pieces of new Boeing jets are coming off in flight. Think of it this way ... to garner top ratings among social influencers who determine which companies get those top ratings, it's important for large entities to load up on incompetents, because ... because ... racism, sexism .... These are reparations for all the dumb clucks with their expensive university degrees in (Whatever) Studies, who know nothing of value, and aren't qualified to do anything useful to their fellow plebes.

So, the FBI under Chrissy Wray has turned into the joke they were in the movie Die Hard. I wonder what Sean Hannity thinks about this. Maybe he could ask very special agents Johnson and Johnson.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Mitch McConnell, the longest-serving Senate leader in history who maintained his power in the face of dramatic convulsions in the Republican Party for almost two decades, will step down from that position in November. The DC Circuit Court has ruled: Commentator Mark Steyn and space blogger and sometime PJ contributor Rand Simberg, after 13 years of legal maneuvering funded by a dark money group...are indeed liable for defaming Michael Mann by reporting on the way he was lying about being a Nobel laureate, engaging in a concerted effort to defame other climate scientists — including accusing Judith Curry of sleeping her way to the top, using statistical methods to generate the results he wanted (research malpractice for mere mortals).

In a victory for climate scientists, jurors in Michael Mann’s defamation case against Rand Simberg and Mark Steyn awarded Mann $1 million in punitive damages for defamatory comments made in 2012. In a unanimous decision, jurors agreed that both Simberg and Steyn defamed Mann in blog posts that compared Mann to convicted sex offender Jerry Sandusky, former assistant coach of football at Penn State University. They announced that Simberg will pay $1,000 in punitive damages and Steyn will pay the larger $1 million. The trial, however, has proven to be about much more than defamation — the entire field and validity of climate science has been on trial.

With the war started by Russia entering its third year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also fighting on another front—corruption. On January 9, Zelensky's defense minister, Rustem Umerov, said an audit had uncovered corruption connected to military procurement worth 10 billion hryvnia ($262 million) in only the four months he had been in post. His predecessor, Oleksii Reznikov, resigned in September over scandals that threatened to sap domestic and international confidence in Kyiv.

And just like that, Canada’s storied Liberal Party, in power for one hundred years, the country's self-described "natural governing party," is done. Before the ruling this week, Pierre Polievre’s Conservatives were projected to win 222 seats, according to Angus Reid's January 21st poll, with the Liberals at 53 seats. Trudeau’s partner-in-crime, the fetching champagne socialist Jagmeet Singh, he of the mauve headwraps and Rolex watch? Twenty-five seats. With the decision, handed down by a federal judge, that Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act illegally, to end the truckers’ protest in Ottawa and at border crossings in Ontario and Alberta, Canada’s ruling elite has given up.

That entire time, the veteran TV personality apparently held a deep personal hatred for so many of us. On Sunday during an interview on CNN, Costas referred to people who support former President Donald Trump’s bid for the White House — people who need immediate relief from inflation and illegal immigrant crime — as “toxic” and delusional.” The comments were made as the 71-year-old attacked Trump while speaking to network host Michael Smerconish.

If you had told the average person that an anarchist or an airman had set himself on fire to protest Israel’s campaign against Islamic terrorists, you would get two very different reactions. Unsurprisingly the media led with the data point most likely to produce a favorable reaction. And Aaron Bushnell cynically played the same game, wearing (the wrong) uniform to his Hamas suicide attempt rather than the Antifa red in which he had been previously photographed. The Washington Post gets around to admitting that Bushnell was an “anarchist”. [SNIP] But the Washington Post then misleadingly suggests he was raised in a Christian cult.

The Supreme Court will not throw Donald Trump off the ballot through some sort of deus ex MSNBCmachina, and Trump’s polls are improving while President Crusty’s are getting worse, so we face the real possibility of Donald Trump winning the presidency. Obviously, it’s not a done deal, but it is a bigger possibility than it used to be. Well, the Democrats are facing it, and now they’re trying to figure out how to stop him from taking office if and when he wins the election. This is a really bad idea. But of course, the Democrat Party is the Party of Bad Ideas, and the Party of Nanny Fascism.
