New York— Former President Donald Trump has told the public for years what he thinks of E. Jean Carroll, the writer who claims he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s. Now he has a chance to talk to a jury about her — but within limits he might well test. Trump could testify as soon as Monday in the defamation trial over his 2019 comments branding Carroll a liar who faked a sexual attack to sell a memoir. He plans to be in court as the New York trial resumes after a weekend break. Because a different jury found last year that Trump sexually abused Carroll, U.S. District Judge Judge

Shouldn't the Court be limiting what the lawyers can ASK, not what the witness can say?

Carroll is allowed to say anything that she wants and it is ok. Trump says anything and it is considered out of line and defamation.

Cripes. Trump would get a fairer trial in Tehran. I'd add North Korea, but he is friends with Kim over there, so that could be an advantage.

She called him a Liar for calling HER a Liar...She posed for the cover of New Yorker claiming to be wearing the Donna Karan outfit she was wearing when he "Assaulted her in 1994"...Fashion experts, including those that designed the outfit quickly noticed that it wasn't even designed, nor made, until 2 years later. Instead of her retracting her claim about what clothes she was wearing...she changed her claim about the date of a "Day seared in her memory that changed her life forever" to sometime several YEARS later.

Is it normal for a woman who is raped in the dressing room of a high end Manhattan department store not to cry for help? To not call the police or even file a police report? Is it standard practice not to identify the alleged rapist for at least 20 years? Or not to sue the store, Bonwit Tellers, for a lack of security? Even in 1994, or 1995 or possibly 1996, Donald Trump was easily identifiable by the victim, yet she never spoke out until 2022. Truly odd.

Sen. Cornyn to Haley: End Your Campaign,
Time for GOP to Unite Behind Trump

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) endorsed Donald Trump for president moments after the New Hampshire primary was called within minutes of polls closing. “I have seen enough,” Cornyn said on X. “To beat Biden, Republicans need to unite around a single candidate, and it’s clear that President Trump is Republican voters’ choice.”A majority of Senate Republicans have now endorsed Trump, but Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) had been the only senior member of Senate GOP leadership to endorse the former president’s reelection bid before Tuesday night. Barrasso had also been the only one of the “three Johns” – the three most-speculated successors to Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) – to endorse the president.

While not explicitly saying she should drop out, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel urged former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to drop out of the Republican presidential race Tuesday night, saying she sees ‘no math and path’ for Haley to win the GOP nomination over President Donald Trump and that she should “reflect” on her candidacy. McDaniel made her remarks in an interview on Fox News, saying the message from voters is the party needs to “unite around our eventual nominee which is gonna be Donald Trump.”

Washington— President Joe Biden will be the keynote speaker Wednesday at a United Auto Workers’ political convention as he works to sway blue-collar workers his way in critical auto-making swing states such as Michigan and Wisconsin. Biden will speak as the union closes out a three-day gathering in Washington to chart its political priorities but leaders kept mum in advance about whether they will use the moment to endorse the Democrat’s bid for a second term — or hold out longer to try to increase the UAW’s leverage. It will be Biden’s first political event since Tuesday’s primary vote in New Hampshire, where former President Donald Trump cemented his hold

Nikki Haley relied heavily on the support of Independents and Democrats in the New Hampshire primary yet still lost by wide margins. Of Haley voters in the Granite State, CNN said, “about 7 in 10 said they were registered as undeclared prior to Tuesday.” CNN relied on an exit poll to make its shocking statement. New Hampshire’s loose requirements allow for voters to cross over, while future Republican caucuses and primaries will consist overwhelmingly of registered Republicans. Trump crushed Haley in the New Hampshire primary by double digits with results still outstanding. The Associated Press called the New Hampshire results within three minutes.

Virtually every presidential election over the past forty years has been described by one of the candidates or by either left-wing or right-wing pundits as being the most crucial since (fill in the date). However, in light of the Marxist radicalization of the Democrat Party over the past sixteen years, 2024 is evolving into being the most crucial election cycle since 1860 as the future of this nation as founded precariously hangs in the balance. Considering the factors that contributed to the debacles that were the 2020 presidential and the 2022 midterm elections combined with the Republican Party’s seemingly never-ending incompetence, inability to turn out the vote, and lack of determination

Can Nikki Haley read the room? Apparently not. With the New Hampshire primary just two days away, on Sunday she played the race card in a big way, making outlandish and implausible claims about her youth in South Carolina. Whose votes is she trying to win? Those of patriotic voters who are thoroughly sick of charges of “racism” being used as a weapon or those of the entrenched Washington establishment that weaponized those charges? The answer isn’t even close to being in doubt. Haley came out big for identity politics saying: “We were the only Indian family in our small southern town. I was teased every day for being brown.
